"A new report [from the ACLED Project] found that 99% of pro-Palestine protests at US colleges have been peaceful...While some notable violent clashes have recently taken place, such as on the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) campus, where demonstrators and counter-demonstrators fought at a student encampment overnight on 30 April. ..."

Brown Univ. Professor of Holocaust and GenocideStudies visited UPenn alongside fellow Israeli historian Raz Segal and said there was no violence or antisemitism there. Bartov was on Democracy Now talking about how antisemitism is being weaponized. Other professors at other universities concur.

Even that evaluation can’t get it right. “Demonstrators and counter demonstrators” didn’t “fight at a student encampment” at UCLA. Peaceful protesters in an encampment were attacked by violent “pro-Israel” goons. The footage is there. It’s the most shocking of the footage used in segments covering the UCLA violence on this channel. They don’t, however, explain the “who, what, when, and why” of the footage-it’s just used as a generic visual example of violence. It’s just “violence b-roll” at this point. The footage and testimony of physical (and mental) harm done to the students in the encampment by these “counter-protesters” should be “front page news.” It’s infuriating that it isn’t. If anyone’s interested, I’d suggest checking out District 34’s channel.

@@sonotdown998 not surprising. These corporate media outlets are stenographers for the war machine and industry powers and Israel is an arm of the American war machine, which has been used for decades in an attempt to pillage middle east fossil fuels resources. You've probably heard about the natural gas resources discovered in the Gazan sea. I think that is the majority of what this ethnic cleansing with U.S. support is all about. CZcams commonly censors this sort of comment, so we'll see. We are badly in need of ethical media sources including an alternative to CZcams
