The Diamond Select Delorean has sound effects, and the speedometer and time readout lights up... the flux bands also light up blue, for the money this should have been included. Err also there is a DAMN TYPO on the console, time last DEPARTSD.... How did that slip through the net!? I sure hope that isnt on all the deloreans hot toys released!
This is an exquisite piece, but I dread to think of the cost, probably more than my rent.
JUST FYI... the new 2015 version coming in 2023 will have what you see in this video PLUS light up time circuits, as well as rear displacement vents!

These Hot Toys figures and DeLorean Time Machine are very realistic. Now you can make some fantastic short movies with Star-Lord/Peter Quill and Marty McFly using the DeLorean Time Machine against The Terminator.

This thing is real cool. It's just a shame they wanted way too much for it. If I'm going to pay upwards of 700 dollars, I want it perfect. Less plastic. More metal. Make the seats out of leather material. More lights. I want the dash, time circuit display and plutonium gauges to like up. Most importantly, the flux bands (metal mesh on bumper and back end) should glow as well. So much more needs to be improved and added to be worth the price.
He needs to do one of those trick images of it on a table but making it look like it is actually on the road

Wish I'd grabbed one at retail, There are inaccuracies though which I think hot toys should have got right. Wiring inside the car is incorrect and a lot of it is missing , various clamps and ties are missing inside too. The actual frame of the delorean is slightly off at the rear, the flux bands clamps should have a slit in them, and agreed what where they thinking not having the lights on the bands and time circuits ! . Still , an awesome looking thing and still hope to get one, one day in the future...or the past

The original DeLorean may have been crap to drive and maintain but that won't be the case for much longer. There's a company in Texas that's acquired the DeLorean name and has been resotring and selling old DeLoreans. A recent change in law governing campanies that produce low numbers of vehicles means that the company can actually start making the DeLorean car again in limited numbers starting next year. The upside to this is that the DeLorean will finally have a decent engine that meets modern standards. However, each DeLorean carries a $100,000 price tag. I'm gonna have to go buy some lottery tickets...

Good luck getting one. They're extremely expensive.
You can get a good one for 25k. They rebuild them with better parts at the new DMC of USA in CA, FL, and TX.
