  • Star Wars Rebels Season 4, Episode 15&16 "Family Reunion and Farewell"
"Sabine sees Ezra" scene from the Finale episodes, as per request.
I personally found this one of the most emotional and well done parts of the Finale, and due to a lack of similar videos on CZcams I've decided to upload it here.
I OWN NONE OF THIS CONTENT. ALL OF IT IS PROPERTY OF LUCASFILM. I believe this falls under the fair use policy.
The audio in the background is the "Sabine sees Ezra" OST I uploaded several months ago, which was leaked earlier than intended. This entire scene played during the Finale episodes of Star Wars Rebels.

Chase Martinson It’s not his power that mattered. Ever. The same was true for Kanan. It was their wisdom that set them apart as Jedi. By all accounts, Kanan and Ezra were nowhere near as powerful as legendary Jedi like Yoda, Obi-wan and Anakin. They were no match for Darth Vader in even brief lightsaber combat, and their skills with the Force were often middling. Nevertheless, their relationship with the Force surpassed that of almost any other Jedi, from Yoda to Ahsoka to Anakin.

Sabine and Ahsoka’s adventures while searching for the long lost Jedi Ezra Bridger would be amazing. Most people have speculated this to be the natural development off of Star Wars Rebels already on both Reddit and professional critic reviews, so let’s hope our prediction comes true!

Exactly. The epilogue was a massive cliffhanger. Not resolving it would be a terrible play on Filoni’s part, because it had built up so much hype and excitement already. And something so important deserves to be resolved in an animated TV series, not some comic or book.

@@kickingbackpunchingcones4099 The Ahsoka show was messed up.
The first time we see Sabine she is running away from a speech. Okay, fine. But then the governor of Lothal decides to send cops/military after her and get mad?
That's a shit move. That's like sending cops after a WWII medal of honor veteran because he didn't want to give a speech at a memorial he built for a battle he lost people who were family to him and after his world was destroyed. Maybe the person has PTSD and doesn't want to talk about it. They also made Sabine look like a rebel without a cause and not someone running away from recognition they don't want (tone deaf scene).
That's heartless of the governor of Lothal.
Next, we find out that Ahsoka abandons Sabine mere months after her entire planet and family are destroyed. What a heartless move from Ahsoka. Ahsoka also said she tortured Morgan.... well, that's great. Ahsoka is such a wonderful hero.
Next, Sabine steals the map which is really stupid of her (but don't blame her for not wanting to be around Ahsoka). Ahsoka should have seen what state she was in AND if Ahsoka knew that others including force sensitives were after the map she should have immediately went chasing after Sabine. Sabine is also the one who designed the symbol of the rebellion AND the symbol of the New Republic that's on every government and military asset on millions of worlds. She is supposed to be a famous war hero that the Imperials would want dead. She'd be on a short list of maybe hundreds out of a galaxy of 100 quadrillion that imperials would pay a fortune to kill. She would have a bounty of millions of credits on her head, yet she has no guards or defenses around her tower? No spaceship either? She's not actively trying to find Ezra or helping Mandalore?
Why do they regress characters down to a sorry state like they did to Han and Luke?
What condemns Sabine for me is that not a tear was shed when she saw Ezra, no confession of what she did by giving the map to Baylan, no remorse in front of anyone. There should have been SOME emotion out of her. Running to and kissing Ezra or some big display of emotion would have at least made her more human. Her giving the map was a shit move.
Hera had the Ghost with the Phantom to give to Ahsoka which would have been so much better armed than the Jedi Shuttle (and it has a detachable fighter). Two heavily armed ships with multiple turrets would be much better than a single mostly unarmed shuttle. Especially when they're going to have three Jedi and a droid to man them.
      Thrawn was an idiot.
The Ahsoka show managed to ruin Sabine, Ahsoka, and Thrawn. Three of my favorite characters in Star Wars. It also ruined Hera and the Governor of Lothal.
The characters in the show did not act like people.
There were no heroes to aspire to in the show. No antagonists to fear. No love or deep emotions. No character growth.
I could have written a show 100X better with the same end result without character assassinating.

Far too many incredible scenes throughout. The death of Darth Maul, the redemption of Kallus, the death of Kanaan, the return of Ashoka, the fight between Ashoka and Vader, the lore of how a lightsaber is connected with the Force. An incredible series. Guess I am a sucker for a well written coming of age story.

I loved how it was Sabine who was closing the series off, really love her character and I liked the fact that she had a scene with another one of my favorite characters from Clone Wars which was Ashoka. I Hope Sabine finds Ezra (I really like both of them as a couple as well as every single scene that they had together). Star Wars Rebels.... was one hell of a ride, I will truly miss you(but I will re-watch all 4 seasons). Can't wait for the next Star Wars animated TV show(I hope it features Ashoka again). Farewell....until we meet again....and remember, The force will be with you, always. I love the music of this scene, especially that transition when Sabine distracts them and sees Ezra has escaped, as well as the change into Sabine's theme when she's explaining they should trust Ezra/how to help him by getting the shield up I think that Sabine pleading with Ezra to reconsider, then resigning and letting him go shows her love for him better than any kiss could have. Mando’s literally specialize in burying and ignoring feelings after all. She most likely realized she loved him after he was gone, and we will see their relationship come to fruition when they reunite. Just remember, Sabine made this choice only days after Kanan died doing similar Jedi heroics. Her bravery to let Ezra go, to help him go and be the sacrifice, shows just how much she trusts in him and supports him, in spite of her reservations and fears. What a friend. Or something more? Whatever she is Sabine is one in a million, really loved how she came into her own throughout Rebels. Super excited for her live-action debut! Ezra and Sabine. They truly need to be reunited and have a happy life together. Star Wars at its truest core has always been about love and sacrifice. 0:30 is my favorite part of this scene. In the buildup of the beautiful song, everyone gathers around the table and plans their attack while Ezra prepares for what he must do. Everything just feels right. This is a super good finale. And this entire scene is easily my favorite scene in the whole show. If you think about it, that part where they were looking at each other was the last time she saw him. Then she tried looking at him again when everyone was distracted, but he was gone. She probably thought that she would see him again only to learn that she wasn't. Imagine that happening in real life with someone you've known for a long time and cared about. Does no one else feel this? That music and their looks to one another and then that line for Ezra, one last time. It chokes me every time I watch it, Rebels is beautifully written and I love the way Dave Filoni carries on the legacy of Star Wars. I wish he'd been given the chance with the new films because even though I've enjoyed the new two Dave would have given it so much more depth and love. I always feel like this scene gets slept on, it's so emotional and rewarding at the same time; Sabine and Chopper knew that it was the right thing to do. I almost cried when that sad stare between Ezra and Sabine happened. It still almost makes me cry Edit 2 years later: HOLY MOLY THAT IS THE MOST LIKES I HAVE ON CZcams. THANKS!! Damn, that little head nod of goodbye from Chopper was a perfect little touch from the animators as if to say, I will help you thank you, and goodbye Sabine sees Ezra is such a powerful moment. The soundtrack, Ezra’s “One Last Time” and they’re communicating without speaking always get me Emotional. Their relationship really has come a long way since season one. This really shows how much Ezra and Sabine understand each other. This makes me wanna bawl my eyes out!!! Sabine truly loved Ezra! 😭😭😭 She knew he needed to go to Thrawn and helped him escape Ezra is a true Jedi. Understanding that he is part of something bigger than just himself, an instrument of the Force's will, and playing that part in order to better the galaxy and protect the innocent.
