  • There were more tears in Uvalde today as the first two funerals were held for victims of last week’s school shooting. Anger in the Texas town continues to brew over the fact that it took 77 minutes for police to enter the classroom and take down the gunman. The school police chief who was in charge that day is under police protection. Chief Pete Arredondo is facing condemnation for allegedly telling cops to hold off taking down the elementary school shooter until reinforcements arrived.

As a grown up I don't think I would want to go back to a place that traumatised me. I really can't blame the children and their parents for being scared.💔

As someone who doesn’t live very far from Sandy Hook and was around when it happened, I’m outraged and disheartened. May all the victims rest in peace, and I send my condolences to all of the families that were affected.

Honestly this isn't even police work at all, the chief needs to always act fast and go inside that school regardless what the situation is, it is so heart breaking seeing so many young children die when they had their whole future ahead
