The whole friendzone thing is just to make people feel better about not being able to attract someone. There's no point in being salty because the guy or girl you like doesnt like you back, you aren't "trapped" in the friendzone you just cant be with that person so move on. Nice guys think just because they arent horrible people everyone should want to fuck them but honestly if attraction isnt there then no, nothing is going to happen.
Yeah, but that's not their point. They've already established that those "nice guys" you're talking about don't deserve the attraction of those women. What they're trying to say is that it sucks, and yeah it does suck. It just so happens that the friendzone is just the best/most tangible way of describe that state of being.
