  • My Experience with Long Covid: Living with the Illness Multiple Times
As someone who has been diagnosed with Covid-19 three times now, I can say firsthand that long Covid is a real and serious issue. My first infection was at the beginning of the pandemic, and although I developed long Covid symptoms, I was still able to function and carry on with my daily life. At the time, I didn't fully understand the significance of my symptoms and didn't seek medical attention.
Unfortunately, I contracted Covid-19 again in January of 2022 during the Omicron surge, and this time, the symptoms were much more severe. As someone who works on the front lines and is exposed to the virus frequently, I was not surprised that I had contracted it again. However, the resulting long Covid symptoms were unavoidable and debilitating.
Living with long Covid for a year and a half prior to my third infection, I had experienced many of the common symptoms such as fatigue, brain fog, and sleep issues. However, after my third infection, my symptoms became much more severe, and I couldn't ignore them any longer. It was clear that I was dealing with long Covid, and I needed to seek medical attention to manage my symptoms and get the support I needed.
In this video, I share my personal experience with long Covid and how it has affected me over time. I hope that by sharing my story, I can raise awareness about the long-term effects of Covid-19 and encourage others to seek medical attention if they are experiencing symptoms of long Covid.
