I refuse to believe this isn't what Narcos is actually about
I refuse to believe this isn't what Narcos is about, and to watch Narcos in fear of findinf myself wromg
distractedbirdu I want it to be this so bad I will never watch the actual show.
11northtexas give it a chance. Maybe you'll like it lol? The pilot is really good so it'll hook you from there
11northtexas You should watch it because it's actually good . Even my white and black friends like it . So you will too Honey I
Narcos is pretty good but this had more emotion than the first two seasons lol.
I trust that I speak for many of us that this is absolute proof that Bad Lip Reading deserves to make its own series. I would watch Soy Pablo religiously.
I agree
Long time ago tbere was a show called Mad Movies, they'd take the audio out of old movies and do their own dub, funny as hell, watching DoA turn into a I love Lucy thing
Amen
Sameeee
Yes!
"oH Heyy mexIcAn fOod"

*Pablo, the Columbian
who hates mexicans (according to narcos mexico tho)
That would be me!
Lulz
Fun fact: There's actually a movie with Wagner Moura (actor who plays Pablo) with a similar plot. It's called Vip's. It's based on a true story about a guy who pretended to be the son of the owner of one of the biggest flight companies in Brazil.
He did some awesome body morphing for Narcos.
@@resortX mfs hired a skinny man that does not speak Spanish for a role and he nailed it
it freaks me out how well this was made
How did they get the actors to act like this?
@@sleepyak4985 they didnt, it's dubbed over an actual show
@@SorchaSublime no you cant find any of these scenes in the original thats why I asked
@@sleepyak4985 look at it this way. All footage is from the original show, its just been edited to convey the new narrative.
@@SorchaSublime yeah I understand what you mean but I really think that the actors were involved in this video, the lip sync was perfect and without any mouth edits and most of the footage used here cant be found in the original series bro
Bad lip reading turned a dark depressing show about drugs into a feel good drama damn these guys are talented
Nice icon!
It's actually just one guy who does the BLR stuff, lol. He makes all the music, does all the voices, as well as the editing. It started out as a way to make his mom laugh because she went deaf early in adulthood. He's never revealed who he actually is, but apparently he's a big name in the entertainment/music industry (which would make sense).
@@mr.nervedamagegaming8050 How did you know this?
@@mr.nervedamagegaming8050 even the ones from the women?
Mr. Nerve Damage really, are you sure??
As someone who has seen Narcos twice now, I can confirm that this is exactly what the plot is
Oh good, I was wondering
That's why I love Narcos. New stuff is also gut, but not the same without Ryman.
I have never seen it, but I love this video.
There is no Narcos…Solomente Soy Pablo por todo el tiempo.
They call Suave, cause he's really suave. #ChecksOut
You just managed to turn a show about a murderous sociopath criminal into a comedy romance. Well done
Since I have not seen the series (I know! It's on the dang list.), I get to play a guessing game of what's real and what's not lol
I wold watch the shit out of this if it was an actual film. The story of a man who never really found himself till he lived another man's life
Nicholas Clay you put that brilliantly and I agree! What a great film this would make!
Have you seen The Scapegoat?
There is a 1982 French film with a similar premise: 'The Return of Martin Guerre', starring Gérard Depardieu. It's a good film from what I can recall.
But...he would still never find himself. He would find this phoney baloney imitation of somebody that was not him. The cognitive dissonance would be would probably cause brain damage for chrissakes
@@pessimistictrousers2892 that movie is based on a real case.
It was so good that I forgot it was a lip reading
It’s a masterpiece
The first time I saw it, I was really tired, and I really thought they made a movie about a guy disguised as Pablo Escobar, and actually blowing his cover, and I remember thinking "this crap is actually based on a true story?"
Mason Holland ikr😂
Yeah, I forgot several times.
It’s really really well done
“I think everyone knows this besides you”
Just the thought of someone infiltrating a powerful gang and everyone else is just like "k" cracks me up
Not just infiltrating, but also posing as the leader of the cartel lol
That's the best twist. When you think he's going to ruin the whole operation by giving away his secret, it's the moment you understand that everyone already understood he wasn't Escobar, but kept going along because they loved him. So touching!
"never thought love had much of a point. but i was wrong, it has a thousand points"
WHY DOES THIS SOUND LIKE A LINE FROM AN ACTUAL ROM COM WTF THIS IS SO GOOD
Video game rom com
The most tragic thing after seeing this is that we'll never get to see this actual series/film version.
Im so fucking sold but this doesnt exist. BLR went from funny to clever to fucking genius. The hard work you put into these is 100% worth it.
I am giving you a standing ovation right now, typing with my elbows.
It is truly an incredible show. Almost as good as the bad lip reading version even.
you're elbows are fucking badass at typing
If the stupid dubs for Ghost Stories and Danganronpa, which are basically Bad Lip Readings, can exist, then an official Bad Lip Reading show can too!
KingChickenwing I hate anime but those Ghost Stories dubs are fucking hilarious; certainly better than this dub of Narcos.
Well there is a Bollywood movie with a similar premise called Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. It's really cheesy at some points but it is similar if you're interested. :)
This was Exceptionally emotional. Like one of those feel-good movies.
XB: ArrowRik12 exactly 😂😂😂😂😂😭

XB: ArrowRik12 it made me cry

This is so random I love it 😂
Okay, how's this for an ending?
The emotion around the compound is tense as the real Pablo Escobar drives up. The person who greets him at the gate is the one guard who was most suspicious of Ryman Branson, this guard, upon learning about the ruse, never really seemed comfortable with everyone going along with it, and we don't know what he's going to do now that the man to whom he always thought of himself as loyal is now in front of him, ordering open the gate.
The guard remembers the sweet gesture that Branson made to the guard's sick daughter, how he asked after her, how he did that all as a matter of course throughout his day, how he seemed to look at all these people who worked for him as real people, not tools or weapons. The guard contemplates the question he's asked himself earlier "If I break my oath to Pablo, just 'cause this new guy's nice, what kind of a man does that make me?"
Now, he asks himself "If I betray the new Pablo, a good man, just 'cause I made a promise to a tough guy... what kind of man would _that_ make me?"
After staring at Escobar for a minute, Escobar getting agitated, the guard calls into his radio. "Hey, boss...
We got an imposter at the west gate. What you wanna do with him?"
Branson looks pensive as he holds the phone on the other end. He looks back at his loving family. They know what this call is. He replies "I'll be down in a couple minutes." and hangs up.
Tata and the boy embrace the new Pablo, and Tata says "You don't need to go down there. You don't know how dangerous he can be." The new Pablo replies "No, I have to go down there. I need to make sure this is over."
Branson slowly walks through the threshold while Escobar is angrily berating the guard. Escobar is stunned as he sees his doppelgänger walk up.
Escobar: "What the _FUCK_ is this?! Who is this asshole?"
Guards and other employees from around the compound slowly and solemnly approach. Everyone remains silent.
Escobar: "Are you BLIND?! YOU think this is ME?! Shoot this pendejo!"
Everyone remains silent and stares at Escobar.
Escobar: "It's me! It's *ME,* you idiots! I'll prove it's me."
Escobar starts angrily shouting out everything he can think of that only the real Pablo Escobar would know, so much of which is extremely incriminating, all of which is being captured by the recording equipment being run by the FBI guys back in the van. They look at each other in amazement, silently as if to say "This is it! This is everything!"
Escobar: "NOW! Un millón dólares *and a night with Tata* to the first chingón who shoots this mother fucker in the head!"
Tata turns her head in shame, unable to look at her former husband in the eye, while holding the hand of the one she loves.
Escobar grabs for his gun.
Tata screams "¡NO!"
And in an instant, the guard shoots Escobar in the shoulder, forcing him to drop the gun and fall to the ground screaming and clutching his wound.
The new boss instinctively holds his son tight to him, protectively, and the boy returns the instinctive clutching.
Another guard quickly makes sure the gun is out of Escobar's reach, and in that moment, the new boss sees his predecessor with only pity. He had so much wealth, so much power, but it was all wasted on someone who couldn't appreciate what the loyalty of his men really meant, or what the love of his wife and son were truly worth.
Escobar chokes out "You piece of *_SHIT!!_* What gives you the *RIGHT...* to come in here... and take EVERYTHING from me?! *_JUST WHO THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?!"_*
Close up on the actor's face as he makes the subtlest of smiles, brief reaction shots on his tense but smiling family and employees as the music swells.
Pablo: "Soy Pablo."
Music climaxes, there are more smiles, and more tears of joy and relief.
Pablo: "Take this guy outta here."
Guard: "You got it boss."
I like it, but I'd make an addition to your ending. When Escobar is making his accusations, pointing out the crimes of his underlings and the things he ordered/forced them to do, Branson counters with the humanity of each of the men, the things he learned about them, their real vulnerabilities, hopes, and dreams - and how they could each be something great if Pablo hadn't led them down the darker roads of life.

Beautiful! I love it! 🥰
this is so gooood lmfao
love it!!!
Thank you for this.
I've been watching this for a long time. Repeat viewer. I've often thought this needs to be made, but in actuality blr hit every moment needed to tell the entire story. I'm was given the gift of a wild imagination that can easily fill in the holes that a director must do to fill the standard viewing time target. This is my own mental movie now that was a gift from BLR for my own interpretation. I'd rather watch this 40 times than watch the Irishman once, and I've done both. This one is the joy
So I tried to watch Narcos after this, and I just couldn't take any of it seriously because I was waiting for Ryman Branson's big reveal.
Jordan Sullivan I was thinking the same thing
This is exactly what happened to me too 🤣🤣🤣🤦🏾♀️
That's why I cannot watch Narcos....
I've grown too emotionally attached to a parodic character

The other day I saw a picture of Boyd Holbrook from some movie or show that he was in and my first thought was, "Hey, is that Suave from Soy Pablo?"
This would 100% work as a real show. I would love something like this. SOY PABLO!
¡Soy Pablo!

Yes but with Sacha Baron Cohen as the fake Escobar.
"Never really thought that love had much of a point, but I was wrong, it has a thousand points." - Ryman Branson

A year later and I still need this show in my life so bad.
Still waiting Netflix...
Felt like one of those trendy indie feel good film, complete with some millennial band's song being played at the end to tie it all together. Seriously, BLR, this has to be your best work yet!
do you know what song is?
definitly in the top 3 along with the Game of Thrones: Medieval land fun-time world trailer.
It's Pockets by The Tourists :)
CaptAssassin like I said above somewhere. This would make a great Rob Schneider movie.
I'm calling you out on identity theft!
I haven't watched any of this series yet and now I've seen this I'm worried that the actual show wont live up to the greatness I just saw.
dont expect anywhere near as many laughs as this trailer
Expect tears of betrayal and violence

I felt the same way about GOT cos BLR
The show is really good regardless... But it won't make you feel "wholesome" like this trailer lol

Rough time man. That's a mood.
Now I want this movie, with these actors. Because man. This is amazing.
The whole porpoise fascination is the perfect quirk.
"Maybe sometimes, in order to find ourselves, we have to lose sight of who we really are."
Academy award winning formula for generations lol but it really is true
BLR has the corny Hollywood, pseudo-profound sentiment down pat!

Dude. This.. This right here... Needs a platinum award for best edited video. Amazing. Felt like an actual trailer bro got dam you're good.
As an editor, this is the best lip reading you've done yet, even though the NFL ones are funnier, this one was phenomenal
I agree, and I've seen every single BLR at least 10 times each. But interpreting your comment literally, I'd say the lip reading in this one is one of the worst. The lip/tongue/mouth movements don't match as good as they do in all the other ones; likely because most of the dialogue being lip read is in Spanish.
"as an editor"
The Game of Thrones one is pretty great too, wouldn't know which one i would rate higher.
Are you kidding. If listen to what they’re saying it barely matches.
I think the point is that the actual video editing (not lip-syncing...although I actually think it’s pretty good given its dubbing a different language) is great, changing the entire storyline into this one. Masterful editing in that regard
"Because I'm Pablo". 🤣🤣
After watching that trailer i’m genuinely devastated that this isn’t a real movie 😭
A movie would be nice, but imagine an actual 12+ episode series each 42+ minutes long with a writing, producing, and production staff who genuinely cared about writing a good story.
I like how BLR has started to make more of a flow to their videos, like weaving a whole new story. It makes their videos that much more inventive, smart, and hilarious.
It's much better, and also much harder, than the "random" humor that is so common on CZcams and the rest of the internet. This was surprisingly professional and required some real talent. I also liked the inauguration video because some of the lines actually fit perfectly with the people.
+GirdTheBird Beautifully put my friend.
When they reverse scenes to make up clips it's too much
noofalata wow, nice, you win the biggest douche award, your name will be called right after Justin Bieber, enjoy.
hipnhappenin: I agree.... I'd love to see what BLR does will 1990's/early 2K's TV SCIFI Like Babylon-5, Firefly, or decades of Star Trek...

This video is so underrated. I've never watched Narcos, but I think this is my favorite Bad Lip Reading. It's just so perfectly crafted. It feels so genuine and intentional, despite being completely different from the source material.
“Kinda seems like you should pick a salad.”

The first bad lip reading that made me cry, lol
Absolutely phenomenal. This is big studio level shiz. If you guys got a big budget and the resources needed, this idea of a man who happens to look like a drug lord who discovers himself along the way could become an instant classic of a movie. Well done.
Colemann Angelly the guy who runs BLR is actually a high profile music producer. He has all the funds he needs.
Was going to say that. That'd def be a movie i'd watch. Make a good series too.
MapleLeafAce Any ideas who he could be? His singing Voice should sound familiar,if he is an high profile musician!
Yo clubdriver → I think you misread his note, he said, ‘high profile music PRODUCER’, not ‘high profile musical ARTIST’. If you were to Google “Bad Lip Reading Info” I think you might find something.
Not being a jerk, just trying to help.
He calls himself an Musician/band Member on his FB page, and the top result on google says he´s a musician. A guy with the singing voice he has isnt just an Producer behind a mixing table,,i can tell you that much. hes most likely a singer in a band. an extremely versatile and talented one.i wonder who. SOMEONE should be able to recognise his voice from some of his Blr-songs.
