    They did nothing wrong. Taking pictures of clothed body parts in a public place is perfectly ok and legal. If you have a problem with it, conceal those body parts while in public.

      Charges for what? Sounds like pictures all came from public hangouts. Back when i was in school there was houndreds of embarrassing pictures of me and all my friends. Not one person charged for the pictures. How about dont wear or do things you dont want a picture of. No expectation of privacy in public. So unless you can prove 1 that the girls didnt just get butt hurt after saying go ahead, 2 once again like me and everyone else has asked what charges would be filed here and 3 teach your girls to be proper little ladies just like you expect all boys to be perfect little gentleman. I think everyone is excited to see your response.

      Depending on the state, for minors, when "the photo or video is used for sexual or predatory purposes, this could violate child pornography laws." Men here are really showing themselves by getting so hurt over suggesting legal action against ppl taking nonconsensual pics of teenage girls butts. They're taking it real personal for a reason. YIKES ON BIKES! I worry for young girls around these pervs.

    The almost universal ignorance of what happens when someone collects photons (tiny particles of light energy or electromagnetic radiation) is responsible for so many claims of privacy invasion and aggression. No one, or their equipment, 'takes' someone's photo or image. They simply capture the photons bouncing off the object. The human eye (when in optimum condition) does this millions of times per second. We look at other people, and other people look at us, collecting reflected light energy. If you don't want anyone catching light reflecting off your body or property, you must shroud yourself and property in dark matter that will absorb the light rather than reflect it - almost an impossibility.

      I don’t know. This seems like typical young male behavior. You’d have to charge most every teenager in the country for rating their classmates behind their back. Maybe we should just get rid of teenage boys all together and lock them lock them all in prison?
      Theyre all underage so how is it child porn? So now if an underage boy kisses an underage girl they should go be expelled and idk have charges pressed?
      They were clothed and in public for anyone literally ANYONE to see. They did not break into their home and take photos of them changing.

    In an article I read, it said that the photo's were not taken on school property and none of the photo's show any women unclothed. Having that info, there is no expectation of privacy in public and anyone can take a picture of anyone else in public without their consent. Was it morally correct, probably not. Was it legal, I believe so.

      @@ParticipationTrophyWife1 You have no clue what you are talking about. You need to educate yourself on the constitutions. The pictures in question, are all of clothed females in public, so if you construed that to be "child pornography" then the females in question should be charged with "Indecent Exposure". FACT: There is NO expectation of privacy in public! Anyone can take anyones picture in public no matter what age without their consent. Now, you can go back and try and think of some other realistic idea!

      Oh Evelyn, your argument to justify this is ridiculous & seriously uninformed! FB was created to rate FACE pics of ADULT college women, found in student directory. Even then it wasn't ok. It caused outrage & got Zuckerberg in trouble legally & with Harvard. This situation is about INAPPROPRIATE pics of MINOR GIRLS, taken without their knowledge or CONSENT. "Now it's not ok???" That makes zero sense since they're totally different situations, neither ever being ok.

    They should go onto a registry list, their Parents should be reflected upon, as their computers probably have the photos somewhere for editing into card-format, as well as the phones used to obtain them.

    • @KatieBellino
      @KatieBellino Před 11 měsíci

      They are freshmen and sophomores in HS taking photos of their same age peers. The situation deserves adult intervention, but not more permanent harm to the boys' lives like a registry or expulsion. Honestly, this is fairly "normal" teenage boy behavior and most will probably grow up to be decent men.

    • @ParticipationTrophyWife1

      It's embarrassing how many ppl think they're defending these boys by saying: "teenage boys have always been allowed to get away with doing horrible stuff like this." It's not the defense they think it is. All they're doing is admitting they know it's wrong & pointing out it's been allowed to go on forever. This is a defense for why it needs to stop now, not for why it should be allowed to continue.
