- Through the process of storytelling, Malavica shows how data can be analyzed and processed to make it the most powerful. Malavica Sridhar is currently a Product Manager at CircleUp, a data-driven investment platform that provides capital to innovative, early-stage consumer brands. With experience collecting, cleaning, manipulating, and shipping data, she knows data storytelling has the power to defy human heuristics and challenge the status quo. Previously, Mal worked as a business analyst with McKinsey & Company, where her work centered on statistical analysis with a short stint at the United Nations reporting on worldwide trends in gender equality advancement. During her spare time, she tutors Bloomberg analysts on the best ways to leverage statistical languages like R and Python. In 2017, Mal received offers from Facebook, AirBnb, DropBox, and Google. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx
Great talk, great topic! But the audio glitch @ 9:07 really made it hard to watch fully / to the end! >.
Well-spoken presenter and very structured presentation! Well done!

Presented well, but that audio at the end killed it for me...
I like Harry Potter, too. My nickname in high school until I lost the round glasses. Great presentation! What a plot twist at the end!

Its funny looking at this 2021. The 800 $ for that first IBM "Smartphone" looks cheap compared to apple Iphones today
So taking inputs, knowing what you're told to do, and using the inputs is storytelling? No it's called doing your job
The camera-man did a bad job.
