- This video is about my diagnosis of throat or oral cancer and how I felt about that. Oral or throat cancer is a serious diagnosis and i certainly was not prepared to hear that I had oral cancer. For those of you who have had that experience or know people who have, leave a comment below. Discussion about our experiences may lead to someone have a less traumatic experience during their journey with cancer. Here is a link to my full video!

I too had throat cancer on my vocal cords. Thirty six radiation treatments and now I live in cancer free never give up be grateful and praise God good luck
I was diagnosed with breast cancer 32 years ago. I chose to be treated at an excellent cancer hospital and I did what the doctors told me to do. Now, I'm 32 years cancer free and considered cured. I hope that you can say the same some day. 👍👍👍
Your gonna beat it man❤
Hi Lhu,

How old are you? And what about if someone just found out they had it early on?
Hey buddy. I had cervical.cancer many years ago. I am 76 and work as a police volunteer and psychic. God please cure this dear soul.
Update: diagnosis is I’m suffering from sensory nerve damage in my throat from mono, sore throat syndrome. He viewed my vocal cords and no cancer! However, I have a 3-month follow-up with Dr SINACORI on August 10
Wow! That is great news!!! Now they have something to treat!
@@theregularguy141 my next appointment is August 10, if I still have a sore throat and hoarseness than he will put me on some medication, but he wants to see if my body heals up on its own.
@@theregularguy141 i need talk to you

Did you suffer from shortness of breath at the beginning of the disease?
"What the hell are you gonna do with that? "
Kick it's @ss, that is what you did with that. :)
Hey Winds!! Hope all is going well for you! It's been a bit since I have heard from you.

@@theregularguy141 Grins, you remembered me. Things are good. My guy scanned clean, he's got alot of his taste buds back, only a little saliva though and battling mightily with that d*mn mucous in the throat. Just kind of going along waiting for him to heal and praying it doesn't come back or show up elsewhere...EVER again. LOL.
@@WindsofChange LOL, of course! That mucousitis is horrible for sure! Good luck to him! Can you drop me an email, I have a dog question.
Hope your doing ok
Doing great! 3rd scan PET/CT all clear!
@@theregularguy141so what did you do to beat it? I have a family member going though the same thing. They found it very early and his surgery will be 90% successful according to doctors. They will use a laser to get rid of the cancer cells. Plz respond.
I am 16 years old and I found out I got neck cancer I don't know what to do im to scared to tell my parents
You got diagnosed by a doctor? Or are you assuming

Hello my husband also. 😢
When does he start treatment and have they determined what treatment he will have?
Lee
@@theregularguy141 they haven't even decided what he has yet no particular treatment we'll see Monday but who knows he lost 48 pounds too thin for treatment this week put on 2.5 pounds yippppeeeee
That is good news! Keep positive!
I’m having a hell of a time stopping smoking (33+yrs) esp when my insane husband still smokes too (38+yrs)
Now that is HARD. I smoked for 10 years and stopped because I was too lazy to drive to the store to get more. (the one time being lazy paid off) Then I started again for 11 years and stopped the week before I started treatment. I really have no idea how to tell you to stop, only this; Your chances of survival increase if you stop smoking and will most assuredly decrease if you do not stop. Talk to your oncologist center and get some "stop smoking" assistance through that office.
Good luck!!

I wasdiagnosed with throat cancer on and I smoked for fifty two yrs,I quit smoking then and there is and haven't had another cigarette since that's been three yrs now and cancer free and no cig remember smoking is addictive but also a habit!!keep your hands busy and away from your mouth to Everytime I wanted to smoke I drank a glass of water not only hydrated it worked!!
I’m 17 and I got hooked on tobacco for some time now I chain smoke because of the instant gratification I’m currently experiencing violently coughing due to my own throat suffocating me at times my voice changes at times and I’m at the same weight level of a 10 year old boy is this serious?
Hi Kvacer,
If your chain smoking, that is serious. As a 20 year "retired" smoker myself, I can relate to the difficulties of stopping smoking. That being said, smoking is responsible for a number of diseases and not only cancer. I would go see your general practitioner (family doc) and get referral to an ENT specialist if you are having throat trouble. Especially trouble that is causing throat constriction and voice changes at 17.
Lee
@@theregularguy141 thanks for the advice imma see what I can do
@@Kvacer207 If it doesn't feel right, look, right, sound right, get it checked out.
@@Kvacer207what did the doctor say?
@@Kvacer207- I smoked from age 12 til 36- but quit & it’s been 27 years. I was 2 pks a day some years- you can quit too, am rooting for you!🙏🏼❤️

Hi , I had been diagnosed of tongue cancer about 4month back, went through surgery and radiation, now healing back, though it’s a very slow process, glad to be able to see this beautiful world.
