Hello there - Just a quick question. I have only done one short via ferrate once, I really liked it. I'm planning to stay in Cortina d'Ampezzo. I'd love to this Via Ferrata, is it do-able for beginners? I have done a lot of hiking and my level of fitness is very solid, with lots of trial running. I'm also quite experienced with higher altitudes, up until 2.500 meters.

All this ferratas in Dolomites are my first ever. Cristallo is really not demanding.

We used ours equipments. But I believe you can rent it somwhere in Cortina d'ampezzo.

Mountain patrol in the area but unclear how often they are checked ! A wing , a prayer and a bolt is the difference between life and the hereafter!
