Love this presentation. Clearly explained. Thank you. I’ll try it. My problem is random beeps and a message that says my Park Assist is on. Any thoughts on that?

On a Ford Escape you don't have to start the engine - just turn key to accessory, press brake and put car in reverse - again without turning on engine and do what he does - listen for the clicking - it works great!

in the dash of my ford c max it says parking malfunction - but when i go round the front of the car the sensors work but when i go round the back they dont work at all. Do you reckon that one of the rear sensors arent work or its the module?

Will the clicks happen if the dashboard is reading "check parking assist"? It seems the whole system is off at this point, 2007 Edge.

Would you why backup sensors lose their sensitivity? Took it to the dealership and since error message from their computer they/warranty company won’t repair. I’m at a loss.
Ex: when in parking lot it used to warn when a pedestrian was approaching from the side even before it was in the sensor range by starting to beep. Now it doesn’t

You don’t need the car running, KOEO key on engine off

  • @atikovi1

I'd give it a little gas before stepping out and behind the car to make sure the brakes hold.
