    This video saved me probably $500 to diagnose and replace the sensors. I had the same warning coming up. I did a search, found this video. I got 4 replacement sensors on Amazon for $20.00. I didn’t have a mic to test but I easily replaced all 4 in 10 minutes. Problem solved. Thank you 🙏

      Nice! Glad it worked out for youI just had another one of the original sensors fail recently. I'll probably just do the same thing and get a cheap set and do them all. Thanks for watching!

    Thanks for the video! I can hear all of mine clicking but I still get the warning message. Any ideas?
    Also, the exact same sensor is half the price on Amazon for anyone looking. Cheers!

      There could be a lose or intermittent connection. Check for corrosion on the connectors, they may be powered (clicking/vibrating) but not being sensed by the PAM (parking assist module). I did find that the cheap bluetooth OBD2 scanner from harbor freight is actually really powerful and will scan all the modules in the truck and give you some more insight.

    i can't hear anything from any of them. bigger problem or odds of all being bad?

      I wouldn't think all 4 would fail at once, it may take some in depth troubleshooting with a multimeter or a scanner. Most bi-directional scan tools will pinpoint the specific sensor or if it's a larger issue with the parking module.

    What if i dont have a mic like you had ? Should i beable to hear without ?

      So, an interesting thing I should have had in the video... you can feel the sensor with your finger and feel it vibrating. You can also take a quick video with your phone or a camera up really close and hear it there. Hope that helps!

    What did you use to test them?

    • @treasurestatetoolbags
      @treasurestatetoolbags  Před 3 měsíci

      I used a mic attached to my camera. You can take a video with your phone up close to each sensor to hear it. You can also feel the sensor with your finger and feel it vibrate or not. The easiest way is with a scan tool - this will diagnose individual sensors or indicate if there is a bigger problem.

    I changed all of them still hearing the tic noise but the truck still have the fail code

      Sounds like you may have a bigger issue with the PAM or parking assist module. They can go bad or lose communication. May be worth getting a scanner or having it scanned to see if it's throwing codes.

    Dealer was going to charge me $400 to replace my sensor 🙄

      Ouch, yeah that seems expensive for just a sensor replacement, if that's all they had quoted.
