- We teamed up with the @thebrownbrospc to take on the DMV for Memorial Day weekend! We hit up a couple of the DC black gay pride events, took in some history at the museum of African American History and Culture, and also spent some time celebrating Vic’s moms birthday. We even got to meet another couple we’ve been connecting with in person! There was too much to do in just 3 days. So we will be back DMV! Sooner than later…

Yes we definitely would have to come back to experience the conditions in winter and see how both of us like it then. But as of right now we both really enjoyed our time there and see it as a possibility in the future.

Happy Pride Month guys! DC is a fabulous place to live! Pricey, but fab. Particularly for a black gay couple. Btw, from the looks of your response to that pastry, I'd seriously suggest that Alec set up shop and show them how it's supposed to be done.

Delmarva area driving is hard especially Baltimore, DC driving is always hard. Yes come up to this area. It's accessible to major cities by plane, train, and car.😊
Luckily we weren’t in the heart of things in Baltimore to really experience the difficulty head on. We really are considering it though!

Reminds me of when I decided to move here. It’s a great place to live. Like most places it has its pros and cons but more pros than not. Been here almost 3 yrs and still haven’t experienced everything because it’s so much to do.

DMV is a great place to live! Super homey, and it’s central to the East Coast. An easy flight down South. A four hour trip to New York. Democratic leaning states. Friendly vibes.

definitely go to "Georgia Browns" beautiful brunch spot, Michelle Obama favorite restaurant. if you like Mexican, Mi Casa is great. Founding Farmers was good too. I love that museum! We visited in 2021 and were there for about 3 hours and only made it to half of the 2nd floor! Have to go back
lol yeah it definitely was too short a time for us to complete it all. We had to skip the second level all together becuz we spent so long on the ground floor. Definitely want to go back as well.

What a wonderful excursion, Brian needs to tell his face to shut up because after that lavender cupcake, I found myself trying to get up off the floor. It's a great thing that the two of you never meet a stranger. When you go to the Baltimore Harbor area, please take a stop at the Black Wax Museum. It's really a place of historic value.
