This Duramax Triple Gauge Package features a Diesel Boost Gauge, EGT Pyrometer Gauge, and the third option of either a Transmission Temperature Gauge or Fuel Pressure Gauge. Also included is a Triple Duramax Gauge Pod created specifically for the factory A-pillar of any 2007-2013 Chevy Silverado or GMC Sierra 2500HD/3500HD. We went with this set of Duramax gauges based on feedback from our Tech Team, who recommended these gauges and pod as the optimal gauge set for the 07-13 6.6L LBZ, LMM, or LML Duramax.
We start with the Boost Pressure Gauge by drilling and tapping the Intake Manifold, installing a Boost Line Fitting, and then inserting the Boost Line into this threaded ferrule fitting. Next we install the EGT Probe by removing the passenger side wheel well liner for access to the Exhaust Manifold. We drill and tap into the Exhaust Manifold, secure EGT Probe Sensor Threads, and then thread in the probe.
To install the Trans Temp Gauge’s Electronic Transmission Temperature Sensor, start by placing the sensor into the Temperature Sensor Adapter. Then remove the Transmission Bolt next to the filter and place the adapter and sensor into the port. If you’re installing our Duramax Fuel Pressure Gauge, an Aftermarket Lift Pump is required for the gauge to function properly. On the Lift Pump Assembly, remove the bolt from the Fuel Pressure Sensor Port and thread in the Electronic Fuel Pressure Sensor.
Once all of the sensors have been installed, the sensor wires and boost line are run to the driver’s side firewall, keeping clear of any moving parts, and then into the New Body Style Chevy or GMC truck’s cabin. After adding the gauges to the Duramax A-Pillar Gauge Pod we proceed to install the pod, which replaces the factory A-pillar and makes all necessary wire connections. This pod also includes a speaker cutout for the factory A-pillar speaker which should be fitted to the pod first before installing the gauges. This video will walk you through every detail of the process step-by-step and provide a complete breakdown of everything needed to install our Duramax gauges and pod. When you’re looking for the best pillar gauges for Duramax engines, see what GlowShift has available for you.

The location for the sensor installs will be different on the gas version of this truck. You will need to swap the boost gauge for just a vacuum gauge since the gas engine will not have a turbo.

LOL those wire connectors on Trans are gonna corrode in days and fail. At a minimum use weatherproof connectors and Dielectric Grease
