Harden’s play wasn’t a flagrant, W take
Both Draymond and Embiid deserved ejections for not being grown men and maintaining composure.
Embiid was like: "How dare you do the AI stepover on me? Respect the history of the Sixers, damn it! Cue the d*ck kick!"
The lack of ejections and flagrant 2 for certain players and ejections and flagrant 2s for other is definitely being biased and protecting players like Embiid
Saw this online "They had to eject brooks because they ejected harden because they didn't eject embiid but did eject Draymond" and it makes sense despite how dumb it sounds at first lol
Lol sadly it makes perfect sense.
Definitely becoming one of my favorite channels....and the editing is just...idk chef's kiss top tier
this dudes should have at least 50k-70k
Another thing you didn't point out draymond got suspended in the nba finals for doing the exact same thing Embid did when he did it to lebron in 2016
To be fair, that suspension was related to him accumulating too many flagrant points, leading to an automatic suspension, rather than it being a single incident/flagrant that was later escalated to one.
Clarification: Draymond wasn't suspended just for hitting Bron in the balls in 2016. He got suspended for an accumulation of flagrant foul points in the playoffs (4 = suspension, hitting LeBron was his fourth). Also, they justified not ejecting Embiid by saying he hit Claxton in the upper leg, not the balls (unlike Harden/Brooks).
The blatant inconsistency stuck out to me. Thank you for bringing this up.
I think you are right about Embiid’s lack of ejection having to do with it being a couple minutes in. He’s also likely going to be MVP this year, so no way were they gonna risk that early an ejection of him during a pivotal Game 3.
My guess is that what fostered Harden and Clayton’s ejections after Embiid were those fouls being in the same game, and thus being seen as reactionary and the refs not wanting things to escalate. Think in baseball when there’s an early scuffle and another pitcher gets immediately tossed after an inside pitch even if it’s uncertain if it was on purpose. Simply put, they were likely just victims of bad timing.
As for Brooks not getting suspended despite his notable history of technicals, there was a lot of backlash to Green’s suspension (which only went down after the Warriors won Game 3 handily), so my guess is that they didn’t want to stir up the same criticisms for the Lakers series by suspending him in a way that would inflame the issue further (especially on social media).
Basically, I sort of get why their rulings for Flagrant fouls lately have changed pretty rapidly, but I agree with you that more consistency across all players (including superstars) would be a more proactive and effective solution.
Another banger video as usual!!! Didn’t think they wanted to kick out the MVP hopeful
I love the cut to Pat Bev everytime
they say “look”
Super late but Claxton was ejected for his 2nd tech and he purposely ran to embiid. Like he pushed multiple players out of his way to flex in front of embiid
And then there's Dillon Brooks poking LeBron in the "jewels" and from what I've heard he's playing today in Game 4.
This channel is official I’m subbed
This is my new favorite sports channel on youtube
With these 3 calls, 2 of them are very easy to understand. The harden call wasn't even an offensive foul. It was only called because of the temperture of the game.
The embiid call was correct. When an action is provoked, you can not and should not reward the initiator by punishing the REACTION too harshly. When you act first, you subject yourself to whatever reaction you get.
Which is the same case for green. He was the reactor. The only reason he was suspended is because of his past history.
All calls make sense. Don't shake a tree if you can't handle what falls down.
All your videos I like
closing song Roman reigns then goes hard
League must protect their precious ratings, so the MVP could've taken a knife out and stabbed Claxton in the neck and they'd still let him play
Nah u guys are so underrated
Why does these make sense to me?
Draymond: dangerous and intentional.
Embid: intentional,not dangerous.
Harden: ok after seeing it again that was a terrible ejection.
I still think it's fair for only Draymond to get the extra game suspension though because it was by far the worst foul of the bunch
Spot on
It doesn't matter how lightly he was grabbing his leg. What matters is if he was keeping from getting his leg under him. I'm fine with what Draymond did and the punishment he received. Appropriate and appropriate
If Draymond had actually full force stomped him like they want to make it sound, multiple ribs would have been fractured 100%. There's no way around that. Ribs break so easily that the fact that they didn't actually contains a lot of information.
I ain't mad at the kick. Letting some walk all over you is not the move
I love nudging your defender and getting kicked out of the game for it ❤
Don't know what to comment but bananas I guess for algorithm
I think draymond serves his purpose on the team so I’m impartial to him. However, I strongly dislike how many times he gets away with moving screens. It’s an unfair advantage that completely changes games.
I agree, Dillon Brooks did go for the ball, except it wasn't the game ball, it was Lebron's balls
I feel like someone's trying to clown on the Sixers
No, what pushed the NBA over the edge was stomping on a mans stomach while he laid on the ground and then vaulting off his stomach with all your weight. That is more than enough reason to be suspended. All the extra stuff could have added an extra game but it did not.
Considering the MVP award, it makes a lot more sense why embiid wasn’t ejected….
the refs have been broken since the 2017-18 season
These are so rediculous
You can potentially kill someone, and there is a higher likelihood for injury from chest compressions and impacts.
While hitting in the balls might hurt more in the instant. It is far less likely to be a severe injury.
Also gravity is a thing. Embiid kicking up, and a large adult stomping down and jumping off someone have drastic differences in force.
I don't care about embiid getting ejected, but I hate that people think they are equivalent in severity at all.
Nobody is saying they’re equivalent in severity but they are absolutely equivalent in intent embiid should’ve gotten ejected
@@tonyl477 a ton of people do seriously seem to think what embiid did was as bad or worse.
Which is ridiculous.
This is starting to get to MLB levels of bad.
They protecting embiid because of fat Perkins and he will be mvp 🙄
First
L NBA lol
I don’t think Draymond put any real weight on Sabonis’. It wasn’t a stomp and he didn’t plant his foot on him.
He put very little force into sabonis and this isn’t the first time in the series that sabonis has been holding draymond while on the ground.
You are legally blind and need a couple of glasses.
He put enough weight on him because it bruised his sternum
@@easeman8732 that could’ve been from anything. He’s a big man, fighting for rebounds can do that to you. But again this is just what I think. I could be wrong.
Imagine getting ejected for being dumb with 10 points yet somehow thinking you did something 🤣🤣
