  • Phoenix area's first modern streetcar is now carrying passengers in Tempe, with the three-mile Tempe Street route taking riders to employment centers, event destinations, historic neighborhoods and even connect to a regional transit network. FOX 10 Photographer Brian Kae has more.

    Every 20 minutes is atrocious, if you want actual ridership you need closer to 5 minute frequencies.

      Idk about every five minutes but every 15 mins should be the time frame

      @@user-nv2mr6nn7c It’s pretty much the norm in many other nations in low and high density cities because you need very frequent service to make it more attractive than driving. Though since I’m not too familiar with the area, all I can hope is that businesses and homes are nearby the new streetcar or lightrail looking system.

      looks more like light rail since it doesn’t really run on the street with cars, only operating on it’s own train only road. Cities like Philadelphia and Toronto has rather large streetcar networks here in North America if you want to see an example. 😅

      people knew that already, look at upstate or even interstate deals about how much water AZ gets from the Colorado river
