    They are getting rid of small owner businesses. Any city USA.

      @@aikanae1 I would disagree because the leasing space is much smaller than regular big box development meaning it is much more accessible for small businesses. Also small businesses are welcomed to lease the space

      @@wesleycanada3675 how do you know they were available to lease? 90% of new commercial developments are released to chains. And discounted. A single shop owner doesn't get an audience. It's not a level playing field.

      @@aikanae1 the argument is not unique to this type of high density development. of course chains will be able to pony up the cash for this. However if you are trying to start a small biz it’s a hell of a lot easier to get a loan for 2000 sqft instead of the 10000s necessary for big box development

    Ill make sure to take a giant dump in one of the new businesses. Also ill direct all the homeless to that development so they can hang out thier instead in front of my house

      What’s evil about not having to rely on driving a 30k car that you pay insurance for every month and oil changes, tires, maintenance while the price depreciates? Is freedom relying on a car to everything or is freedom being able to bike, walk, drive, or take the tram??
