On a Montery VM this process fails despite allowing it to run content from oracle.

@@TechnicalFix however..the main reason for guest additions is resize the screen - which can be accomplished by entering “VBoxManage setextradata “MacOS12 Monterey” VBoxInternal2/EfiGraphicsResolution 1920x1080” (without the quotes & change the macos name to the one you have) from the virtualbox directory.
