- How to solve VirtualBox installation failed problem on Mac. If you have any error, failures or any problems in installation of virtual box then maybe this video help you.
Yeah I know in this video volume is very low But in short
Follow this for installation
Open finder.
Search all virtual box files and delete them.
When you can’t find anything related virtual box then you can go for next.
Now download latest version of virtual box.
Before starting installation of virtual box you need to open system performance.
Now open privacy in system preference.
Don’t hide this but you can put this any corner of your screen.
Now start installation process of virtual box.
When you installing virtual box if any requests popup on system preference then allow it and continue installation.
Now you can install successfully.

I booted in recovery mode (apple key R), and reinstalled Mac OS. Then I was able to install virtual box and it works fine. problem solved. I'm running Mojave 10.14.6, virtual box 6.0.22.
when installing virtual box, I clicked on customize and chose not to install MacFuse or the command line options... MacFuse was already on my system. (not sure this matters but wanted to mention it).
could you elaborate? i have had no such luck. when you say that you rebooted in recovery mode, did you wipe your machine? thx

Nothing fixed...Still install error
If you have not fixed your problem then first of all remove all files of virtualbox and check that all files are clear of virtual box after this you need to download the latest version of virtual box.
After download you need to open your system preference and start installation process check your system preference in every step of installation if any requests to need allow your permission then allow it and complete installation process

@@ReissSingh Yeah. At first time while it has failed. It will create directories in the user folder delete those past directories through terminal command and successfully uninstall it and again allowing permission in network preferences, install application.
Then it successfully installs.

2. what did you do, there were no setting changes
If there are no settings change then please first of all you need to complete remove VirtualBox from your device
1) remove from apps
2) serch in terminal and remove
3) check everywhere in your device and remove VirtualBox completely
4) now download latest version of VirtualBox
5) before install this open settings or systems preferences > privacy > Unlock from bellow yellow lock 🔒 and keep in side
6) now start installation and watch your settings if any requests you get then allow it
7) after all requests accepted your virtualbox is ready to launch 🚀

@@parthdayala7519 I think in your device any file of VirtualBox is already in default condition.
So first of all completely remove VirtualBox from your pc.
for remove this completely please search in spotlight and if you find any file then remove it from your device.
install again virtualbox and yes please record your screen while you are installing VirtualBox.
