Turns out, making an enormous fundamental change in the kinds of food you eat is not very smart with zero research.

I have been a moderator on Miss Kadie's channel for several years and I'm so disappointed at the way Caleb has treated her. As she said, he should have been vegan by now and brought his whole audience along with him by encouraging them to watch all the documentaries she mentions over and over: Dominion Movement, Cowspiracy, Seaspiracy, The Game Changers, Forks Over Knives, Earthlings... the list goes on... I've also come to know her husband and I know that they are both shocked and sad at how unethical Oompaville has been with this video. We hold hope he changes over time when his audience starts to learn more than he does and they bring him to the truth: veganism is a moral baseline.

She does realize plants are living organisms, right? As simple as they may be, they are still living.
Plants are very complicated organisms. Did you know that they recognize each other? Mother plant protects her child plant and feeds it, plants warn each other about the predators, so that the neighboring plants produce juice that tastes disgusting for them, they send messages to each other via mushroom network under the surface of the ground etc? Its just that their nervous system is built in a different way, but it has very similar functions like nervous system of an animal.
She says plants don't feel pain, but scientific evidence suggests otherwise.

I have had multiple people call me out for eating meat when i spoke out about animals rights and how poorly we treat them. I have chronic illness and need to eat meat or else I would be on copious amounts of supplements and have bad quality of life overall. These people don't know that there is a difference between harm reduction and complete abstininence from anything harmful ever. It's okay and in the right to preach about things that are wrong, but you don't get to assume the morals of the person if they won't see it in their lifestyle, There are other people in the world WHO CARE but being forceful/judgemental is definitely not the way to go about it. It seems she had changed her teaching style from a singing relaxed teacher to one that made everything about veganism. Like every assignment with kids in middle school learning English as a second language. Parents complained and I imagine she made the adminstration and the board crazy and she was fired.
She was a nurse, so could probably work again if she wanted to. Could be her path to redemption.

As someone with Polish family (my mother and grandmother, but so far they are the only Polish relatives I know I have) I completely understand why you believe she’s insane
She’s actually wrong about veganism being completely healthy too. My cousin and his wife were vegan and she had multiple miscarriages and a stillbirth because she wasn’t getting enough nutrients for both her and her fetus. They shifted to vegetarian diet and now they have a beautiful healthy boy named Gideon that is almost 2. We are not biologically designed to eat only protein derived from plants.
I'm so sorry for you and happy at the same time. I'm sorry about their miscarriages, but I'm happy for Gideon. I hope that you and your family are okay, miscarriage are tragic and can take a toll on a person, especially mothers. I know I shouldn't tell you how to live life, but check up on your cousin once in a while and let him know he's cared for. If you already do that, that's great. I had to go vegan 11 years ago due to health issues (allergic to dairy and hormones in meat). This vegan teacher is exactly why I hate telling new people I can't have things because I'm vegan. Most people think of her or people like her and immediately harass me. I've had people purposely mess with my meals because they were upset. I just want to exist, not deal with people like her. Thanks for covering this Oompa. Plant based/ dietary vegans don't claim her.

And in nature most herbivores are as vegetarian as their options, if they can get a hold of some meat they will eat it.

As someone who is vegetarian because they don't want to harm animals, which is my opinion only I absolutely hate the way that she makes people feel guilty for choosing to eat meat. It should be their choice what they eat and what they don't I am vegetarian, but you shouldn't be forced to be one be what you want to be
My best friend is vegan and I'm not. She's never made it my problem that I eat meat. Sure, we'll tease each other, but within reason and the boundaries we have in place. Are there issues in the meat industry? Absolutely. That doesn't mean that yelling at people will get them to change their ways. It's a systemic issue. She really should be focusing her attention on making legislative change instead of yelling at people online.
It's funny how some vegans are quick to point out the issues in the meat industry but ignore the much bigger issues with the vegetable industry and being vegan in general.

Ironically, she's made it HARDER to not only be vegan, but eat vegan products. I eat vegan products because I have a milk allergy, and when I was in school I was made fun of for it and accused of liking her. So she's actually made things A LOT worse

I stopped paying attention to her when I found out she tried to (and maybe did?) make her own dog vegan. HER DOG. There are so many health problems that come about when an animal does not get the correct nutrition.
Idk I feel like today you can get the right nutrients for them with substitutes, but yes, I'm pretty certain she buys vegan kibble
@@dur-d-durrrr6608most substatutes are harsh on the dogs gut and are normally only recomended to dogs with health problems. Dogs shouldnt even be eating kibble, but Im guilty of that myself so I cant say much. Dogs just need to eat what they should be eating unless told otherwise by their vet.
