Go here for more awesomeness - / @comedianscompany Season 10 Episode 4 - Jon Richardson takes to the Hammersmith Apollo for a very strong Episode 4, enjoy!
I absolutely love how Jon's comedy is basically just a judgmental person with social anxiety that talks about it on stage. He's made it to being one of my favorite comedians, easily.
@@bcaye how does that make it non-judgemental? Mental illness isn't a free pass to act how you want. If someone has tourettes, and their tic is that they smack their head on a wall every now and then, would we say "no brain damage though, its just the tourettes, dont worry about it"? If the tic was to swear would we allow that person to teach young children to spell? Not to say that Jon should be admonished for the things he is judgemental about, but he's not simply "incapable" of judging people because he has mild OCD, that's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. If anything, he is _more_ judgemental, and its these socially excessive judgements that make people go "hang on that isn't right" and then Jon had to assess whether these erroneous judgements were affecting his life and his ability to live normally. He decided it wasn't. Ergo, just treat him like a normal guy since thats how he elected to be treated by society. And as far as normal guys go, he's pretty judgemental.
I didnt think it was too bad for a spanish accent especially when you hear like 10 different hispanic accents a week its nice to remember "oh yeah actual spanish people do kinda sound like that"
Better = funnier, you think i'm doing a fucking ethical comparison? And for the record I don't give a FUCK about him dodging taxes, if I earned that much you can be damn sure i'd be doing the same.
Only seen Jon on shows. His stand-up is firework!! "At the same time as I'm hating them for getting involved, I'm simultaneously hating everyone else for not getting involved." fckin lol my reaction on NYC subway rides after midnight
@@joecraven2712 I'd sent him link to Jon Richardson's different stand up special, but I don't remember which one it was now 😅 (I've honestly not watched Jon in the past year)
it must be interesting to be doing this, his other job as a stand up comic (as oppose to a comedic panellist) in front of someone he works with; Rachel Riley
I guess it would be weird if they had a day job in an office and he was normally introverted and she saw him killing it in a stand up routine but because the panel show is technically showbiz and she's seen his type of humour there it wouldn't be that odd for him. He probably was a bit more nervous than usual though
@@Cyba_IT It feels weird hearing him talk about pissing and puking like that, is he on the mark with how commute on a Friday night in London tends to be?
@@rewrose2838 all comedians exaggerate their stories, this was probably a slightly more than usual day of uhm... fun, but unlikely as bad a pic as he paints
Love Jon, love his character voices. Absolutely spot on English & Afrikaaner S.A. accents. The Spanish accent... if Yoda and Scarface had a baby who became a musical dinner theater prodigy.
Love this guy, smooth and very funny story teller, he is taking you with him i his story, he is one of the best comedian I know. He nailed every scene on the story. Brovo!!
He Spanish accent sounds just like Mandy Patinkn in the Princess Bride! I expected him to say "Hello! My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die."😂 I love it!!!
I love how he knows that Bermondsey is a place😂 everytime I say I’m from Bermondsey people think I’m mental coz they don’t know where it is😂😂😂. Made my day
I love how every country thinks they're the best at drinking. Every comedian seems to have at least one bit commenting on his country's or region's drinking habits. Regardless, Jon is one of the funniest men on the planet.
Shrigis you thought he was describing Britain is the best at drinking from that? Seemed like he described a country that can't hold in drink and walk after a hard night
parvez yousef That could be. I think when I said "best at drinking" I meant "drinks the most/hardest," and not necessarily "can hold their liquor the best." Regardless, it does seem like every comic has a bit about Place X drinking an obscene amount and it's somehow meant to endear them to the crowd the same way complimenting their sports team would, by pandering to their regional pride.
"You thought you could have this one didn't you? Well I'm here now, the alpha. And I'm just gonna touch you with that leg as well" That joke reverberates around bus riders all over the world
How is it that comedians can do a Spanish accent better than a Spanish person speaking English? Like it’s more convincing than the real Thing?! How does this work? Absolutely superlative show Mr. Richardson, you have a fan in me 👍🤩
Well, in that case I'm assuming you're single, live alone, are sexually frustrated and have loads of time for hobbies. So, tell me, how do I best clean an oven?

It's not judgemental, he has low grade OCD.
Peaches and Stream you forgot his clensleyness
I cant spell

basically me on a saturday night
I love that Rachel Riley comes to see his stand-up. And he gets to give a shout to Cats Does Countdown in the opening minute.
@@freudylad watch out everybody we have a fucking genius in our midst
Sarah Millican there at the end too.
@@freudylad but then again, that was the joke, wasn't it? but it's awesome that you know how to use punctuation.
I kind of wish Jon and Rachel were either officially an item or maybe they just sneak around behind closed doors
And gets a good dig in at Jimmy as well
“It was the sunshine come out” made me laugh way harder than it should have
Jon Richardson & Rachel Riley is a beautiful love story that never happend.
LUCCY it’s spider Jerusalem from the comic Transmetropolitan
They're both married.
they're both happily married
Glad I’m not the only one that thinks so
I thought the same, until i saw "Meet the Richardson" and Lucy come to Countdown. They look great together.
"Born in South Africa. He's travelled" LOL😂
Kenneth Thomas I didn't understand that one :(
Neel Parmar That wasn't a good impression of the South African accent... He made a funny excuse for why it wasn't.
it started off OK but then descended into German and then finished with abit Australian therefore travelled
yes a mixture it is but he stared more German on its own, whereas South African is a combination
Not at all. Sounds almost Irish
That Spanish accent was gold.
It was a very funny accent, but i think he stole it from Gino D'Acampo.
nope, its just stereotypical and very funny. Not copied from anyone if its a stereotyped voice.
I thought that although i am sure Gino is Italian LMAO!
@@josey6231 The point I was making, was his accent was supposed to be Spanish, but it sounded Italian.
the Spanish accent section ...Jeeesus Chhhrrrist 😂
Perfectly serviceable Spanish accent
As Adam Hills once said "Either way, it's gonna be racist."
A Stabbo haha
I didnt think it was too bad for a spanish accent especially when you hear like 10 different hispanic accents a week its nice to remember "oh yeah actual spanish people do kinda sound like that"
I am Spanish and the accent was very good, better than good. it has to be a stereotype accent so he nailed it
Love it how his impression of a posh person sounds just like Jack Whitehall...
And his Spanish impression sounds like Manuel.
Lucy Hartwell Que?
His drunk impression is Josh Widicombe 😂😂
The dig at Jimmy doing the numbers hahahahaha "all come out the same wouldn't they" hahahahaha
Colonel Sanders Yeah he's so much better than someone that actually pays his fucking taxes
Better = funnier, you think i'm doing a fucking ethical comparison? And for the record I don't give a FUCK about him dodging taxes, if I earned that much you can be damn sure i'd be doing the same.
Tobi his taxes weren’t
Colonel Sanders why so angry m8
I find Jimmy Carr's comedy very predictable. It's just a bunch of playground jokes.
eh, nachos!
The “eh nachos” made me laugh harder knowing that’s the basis of my entire Mexican family
Ashton Perfecto LMAO
XD
Fucking love this man, cockney mockery had me in stitches
The Spanish accent moment... Hahahahahahaha. I am a Spaniard and you nailed it 😄😄😄
hes so soft spoken its adorable and works with his act
He's so fucking great.
There's never comedy by Jon that doesn't include jimmys taxes xD
It's because Jimmy continuously humiliates him in 8 out of 10 cats does countdown.
Also because he is able to count past 10
Base-level hatred LOL
