@@drewdyman1014 it is useful though... it helps you picture places in your mind better, and have a deeper understanding of our country. I get you’re salty about learning, but what should really change is the school curriculum, because *that* is pretty useless

I find that breaking things down alphabetically helps me immensely. I start with how many capitols start with the letter "a" and so on. There are 5 that start with "a". I only have to remember 5. Then 4 for "b", and so on. If you have the city, the state comes naturally. I also memorized the 50 states alphabetically. Doing it by city helps me remember city and state together. State alone, I have trouble with the capitol cities.
This is actually so helpful I was up late studying on quizlet but I felt like I wasn't actually learning any of them and now I tried this and I feel like I know most of them already!
