I agree that the noise cancelation is very poor and when I do my workout I can still hear the machine and people !! For this price, I was expecting more than this!
Love your honesty and pointing out that your biases might change the perception of the review. Your cons are actually pros for me so I'm getting these for sure
I think it's a good review, probably toward a younger target audience. At my age, the case and fingerprints on glass are not important at all. Ppl 40 years and older grew up with V Shaped Sound signature, so It's not an issue and that is what i'm looking for. Thank you very much

Thank you for your honest reviews. It stopped me short of purchasing these due to the comfort and ANC issues. I guess my search for a perfect pair continues as well!
I suggest purchasing a memory foam tip that fits to your ear. Once I bought one that fits to my ear the sound quality and the noise cancelling quality became so much better and I’m now so satisfied
are you talking about the comply earbuds?
I hear that other youtubers are saying that the sound quality is THE best out of any earbuds

@@thedon2005 noise cancelling isnt great tbh, but sound quality is outstanding. I also have the Master and Dynamics and these are superior. Get them they're excellent

@@thedon2005 the ex are way better than bose. If you can afford it get them, the sound stage is incredible and vocals crystal clear. 9.5/10

These are an improvement over the 1st gen buds. czcams.com/users/postUgkxK5mc3yw4xA7Mf2j6k6n1Uqv_KUgrKdeM Pros: The fit is fantastic. This is the biggest plus. They stay in my ears when running and become unnoticeable. They are tight but comfortable. The sound quality is about the same as the 1st gen buds. They pair more easily with my LG G8 ThinQ and immediately reconnect when removed from the case. The sound balance is excellent, good but not overpowering base and clean mid tones and highs.Cons: The noise cancellation is good but perhaps a little less effective than the Bose ANC on the 1st gen buds. Passthrough mode as not as good as the 1st gen buds making it a little more difficult to hear conversations when in passthrough.
So why is the case bigger? Have you given that a thought?

For me this review makes me feel that he wants the B&Os to be bad. And then the comment about the exact positioning of the sound curve is something I never believe from guys that are not qualified sound engineers. I am a musician, this area is so highly perceptive. Most things negative here I find actually positive. But it is all about personal preferences.
The ONLY major issue with these are the sensors that detect whether or not they are in your ears. The slightest shift in position, any amount of sweat/oil in the gym etc will kick the audio off in either right or left or both earbuds and you have to re-adjust. It is incredibly inconvenient. Is there a way to disable this somehow?
For the record I struggled with the comfort just like you did and the stock tips just weren’t doing it so I got a pair of the spinfit 360s and it’s made all the difference in the world. The way the tip is angled means it rests on my ear in such a way that it doesn’t dig into my ear the butt itself. Perfect seal highly recommend

@@jonathanbarnes7641 Depends on your ear canal size? My big ole ears needed the XL's but no the Spinfit 360's come in S, M, L, XL.

I actually, except more important features, bought these for the case. I like the shape and design and the top thing about it is the use of aluminium. It just gives it he premium touch which corresponds with the highest price for TWE, at least where I am from. I definitely think, if these were so much more expensive than Sennheiser's momentum 3 true wireless, that aluminium is better and more premium than their case, but I must admit, that I will be caring for them, because the cloth material on Sennheiser's will probably last without scratches.
The reason I bought those even for the price was only and only audio quality with the best premium design and materials used, which only could justify the price for me. I don't care about ANC, I wish there would be same less expensive model without ANC with room for audio to be tuned just little bit better. But there are no wireless earbuds with better sound without ANC, so I had to opt for these.
Hearing the case is a no go for you made me smile, that's actually the least issue with these buds. So, good review, good mic test, I think B&O did a great job with these buds.
Can the earbuds be used individually ? Also on the noise cancellation feature is it blocking out all other noises? For safety reason if you are wearing them and walking in the street will you be able not be totally surprised by another person coming close to you. They can be used individually. Noise cancellation can be set to different levels (1 to 3) or in auto mode, or you can disable it with a tap.

Thanks for the review. I was considering buying these as a replacement for my Airpods Pro, which I foolishly lost, but after hearing you say that the ANC on these was underwhelming, my mind was made up. Will be looking elsewhere.
Is it possible to one of them at the time. A lot of earphones only have microphone in one side. I have the apple pro and one one at the time when I talk on the phone. But fix JBS can’t do that witch annoys me.
Nonexistent noise cancelling and so despite the great sound, you’ll need a quiet environment which limits it’s use
These or Pi7 S2 by Bowers and Wilkins?
Looking for best bass in headphones. What’s better, Beoplay ex, ip7 s2, or Bose quiet comfort 2 in ear? I have the Bose, Beoplay arrive tomorrow and I’m only keeping one, but that leaves me curious about the bower and Wilkins ip7 s2 which I heard on other reviews has a ton of bass

I wonder, should I opt for the Ex or EQ? My main objective is a good quality sounding earbud, with comfortable fit.
What are the main differences in the sound between the EQ and EX?
from what I have gathered the only differences are that the Ex is louder and has a stronger bass.
I own both and the EX is miles more comfier, it's actually the comfiest TWS I've worn to date, but not when sleeping on your sides.
For $400, the subpar noise cancellation and ambient mode just doesn't cut it. Also the metal case's condition will deteriorate pretty quickly due to scratching and scuffing. The mic is also not the best.
idk about that i thought the mic quality was almost perfect. am i missing out on good mic quality?

@@almaq2078 was thinking the same. For a TWS the micro sounded amazing! Almost studio quality.
Almost everyone during zoom meeting asked what earbud I’m using coz it sounded crystal clear

I am happy to own Beoplay EX... For me it is the best bluetooth headphones...
I got used to carrying a Sennheiser Momentum TW2 case which is pretty large, and the fabric, while it feels nice, it sticks to clothing, so, it wasn't bad though I got used to carrying it. Yeah, Airpod case is nice though. So is Sony's.
I guess you can always download a free equalizer from the play store
Seem like a big improvement over the EQ. EQ were super nice but fit pretty bad, they were dummy thicc.

One thing that I would like if you did in future earbud reviews is that you'd do an outdoor mic test in a very noisy environment in addition to the indoor environment. Other than that, really great review!

Lost my pair of b&W PI7s (Ik horrible right) some stranger prob has a great pair of buds now bc of my stupidity 😂 but I’m now going to try these out! These look easier to wear and floss ranked these higher then the PI7s!

The earbuds and case fell out of my pocket at the movie theater! I was wearing my work pants and couldn’t feel them slip out and left without them and didn’t notice till the morning! By then, they were most likely taken by some random person.
Did you try these yet? I’m curious since the pi7 are my go to for sound above anything I’ve tried and never liked beoplay sound but wonder your thoughts on the sound alone compared to pi7. Thanks.

@@valle6173 like them a lot but I went to airpod pro 2’s! I still use the b&o EX here and there. The main thing that puts me off of them is the eartip sizing, the medium isn’t big enough and the large falls out of my ear when looking around haha
Have you tried the Sennheiser momentum 3's? how do the sound compare?
Looks at El Jefe Reviews channel. He compares both the momentum 3 and the EX. Says that the momentum 3 has a lot of things better than the EX and especially for a cheaper price but mentions for the best sounding one, the EX wins
I owned a pair of Mtw3 they were awesome, but for some reason my anc eventually died out so now i guess its just a less great version of the ex
This is the weirdest review I’ve seen, 3 min case complaints (one person I’ve seen) All I can say is I have them and I also have Denon Perl Pro and nothing comes close to those two my only complaint is the the battery last less than 6 hours and weak ANC but Denon Perl Pro last over 8 hrs with very good ANC.

B&O BEOPLAY EX is the WORST!!! Do not waste your money. Spend it on the Bose Comfort Quiet 2
These are the worst headphones available at an expensive price that doesn't justify the investment at all, the sound quality is so bad that it reminds me of simple headphones 10 years ago. Noise cancellation is not here. It doesn't cancel noise at all. You hear everything that happens around you. I don't understand how I can give this thing a good review.
