Matt was bracing himself to be bugged about Doctor Who's 60th anniversary but got Morbed instead.
the morbin will continue until sony releases the movie again.
@@bagrym they need to release Morbius: The Morbin Cut
That was fucking hilarious 🤣
😭😭😭
timestamp?
Just the fact that the show runner looked at George and asked to make sure if his explanation of the synopsis of house of the dragon was good truly reassured me that this will be faithful and done well.
DnD haven’t gotten that close to the man since season 1 of GoT
I hate the moderator, completely ignored Emily and Olivia and some questions were just stupid.
Yes yes yes

Thank you! This comment should be pinned.
OMG
THANK YOU❤️🔥
Thank you for this! The last question is about coffee cups, not copy-cuts btw
My man! The real Dragon!
Hi! Emma D'Arcy uses they/them pronouns
I loved George's answer to the second to last question. They could have left it as the joking "yeah that's what it's about" but taking that time and getting alittle more independent with someone who was clearly a nervous fan was so sweet
Ye it was classy
But like why ask that if it’s obvious that’s what the show is about lol
You can see some of these actors are very nervous and not used to this spotlight. This is the biggest project some of them ever done and you can see that. That doesn't mean they don't have chemistry for example Emma and Matt in the Entertainment interview seem to have good off-screen chemistry. Matt and Eve looked the less nervous but you can see that this situation is very unfamiliar for the cast. Trailer looks amazing, acting in the trailer looks excellent so I am certainly looking forward to it
Yeah I agree, what I like is that the cast mostly unknown actors who get really famous from the show and so I’m really excited to see them act and I already love all of them. (Especially Milly and Emily)
The host is not helping either.
Yes!! And you could see some chemistry! Milly and Emily seemed close and Olivia and Emma laughed between themselves a few times. it makes sense cause they probably interacted a lot with each other.
@@UZiBLASTER7 In fairness, the host seemed pretty nervous as well
Got to be honest if I was an actor I would hate doing stuff like this. A few people will enjoy the public spotlight but most won't.
The Damon Targaryen casting was brilliant, the guy looks exactly how I envisioned Damon in my mind.
Really? I always imagined a really really hot Targaryen. More like Thor. But I’ve gotten used to Matt already.
@@killlamas57 At first i was kinda pissed they cast doctor who as Damon, but now I'm totally on board. I know hes a great actor and can pull it off. And everything I've seen from him in the roll he doesn't just pull it off, he nails it!! One of the things im most looking forward to now.
@@killlamas57 to be fair, daemon was never described to be hot maybe hot tempered lol but matt smith def looks like the official art of daemon with the gold cloaks
@@killlamas57 I think Matt looks pretty handsome tbh
Wasn’t what I first envisioned, but casting is something they have always done well.
10:33 This is the most important sentence in the whole panel, George has seen the show and is very happy about the show, in the end that is all that matters.
I’m sure they know how much this show will launch their careers to probably the pinnacles of what they will be. It’s a lot of pressure and in a few years these panels will be much more seem less like they were with Thrones. Let them grow into the enormity of these roles and this show.
Matt Smith is already pretty big and Olivia Cooke has been in a number of movies.
@@ianhirst1148 Some of these are quite unknown actors though and their star will grow in this show but yeh I know especially Matt is a huge actor!
@@ianhirst1148 Don't forget Paddy Considine. He's a veteran actor.
How do you know it will even be a success could get canceled.
@@huwdavies-tallon3305 optimist
Idk I kinda like how nervous they are it feels refreshing and not fake
YES a GENUINE cast for a change lol
I think the host could have had better questions .
For sure. Plus totally unnecessary Why is Westeros ‘anti-woman’, yet George was so patient explaining history. George always shows the struggle and importance of women, and Ironic… I think the host was totally ignoring the actress that plays young Alicent Hightower, but the director gave her opportunity to speak.
Thank you for uploading the full panels! You’re the best 🙌😊
You rock! Thanks again for all the panels! Super appreciate it!
Paddy Considine not getting a big cheer irked me. The man is one of the best actors working.
I know he's been in a lot of stuff that's been critically acclaimed, but has he been in anything that's kind of at blockbuster level before? Maybe a lot of people there won't be that familiar with him. Loads of people have probably seen Hot Fuzz, but they might not have seen him in anything else, or not much anyway. 🙂
Says more about the audience than it does paddy, after they've seen him on this 'hell have them right fucking there *opens palm of hand*'
one of the best actors working? please
Audience is young and naive for the most part. They probably have no idea the other work he’s done.
@@TheWbapricey And hopefully they'll look him up on IMDb or wherever & maybe have a look at some of the other things he's been in. 🙂
I think cause of being the first season , they are all still new to each other and these characters , so of course there is gonna be a bit of awkwardness at first , wait till later seasons and they all come together in real life like they do in this world of fantasy !
I think the got people in season 1 that went to SDCC was Just like that ....i would be Just as nervous
I had the same thought
In the next panel of s2 they will be more aware of things and be more less awkward
@@Eowyn_Arwen you ae right they were as far as i remember. people expect them to be like the game of thrones actresse and actors. , they arent but they are pat if a show that they know has huge expectations stacked against it. this show can become better than got , the potential is there for that as well. but its their first panel together. and the first to such a huge show so its normal that its akward and that they are nervous the firts tims
@@ileana823100 The GOT actors grew into their jobs as big celebrities who talk infront of a big audience. They used to be insecure as well. Especially, Kit Harrington was very shy until season 3/ 4
Cast was probably nervous and the audience was dead which did not help. Still looking forward to the show anyway because quiet/reserved people can transform when acting to someone completely different like Littlefinger or The Hounds actors for example. Don’t judge the characters chemistry because of this
Tru.. I'm watching now & sense that also
A few of them are being asked quite difficult questions too. They aren't all going to know everything about these characters and the history, so some of these questions are tough to answer.
I guess the fanbase is still mixed and reserved after the final season so don’t really blame the audience for being quite.
@@mijanhoque1740 they also should pretend as if they know it's a new show with a different & fresh crew in it. I'm sure they're not that dumb.
Anyway, the audience disappointed me. It's like they're not the real Westerosi fans they would've cheered louder if they knew the characters played by these actors. It seems they only cheered for Matt simply coz his name is a bit bigger in the movie industry. I don't know, but I expected better from the audience 🤷
@@Divine_Chareka Except this show is only being created as well solely existing mainly cause of GOT as were shows like Rings of power, Wheel of time, Shadow and Bone, Last Kingdom, Witcher, Vikings, etc Studios are all trying to get in on the GOT level hype. So yes while it may have a new cast let’s not pretend it’s not being done cause of GOT so audience have skepticism on the quality of the show.
I love the matt smith name announced and peoples are screams
He was brilliant in Last Night in Soho.
it is morbin time
Ekse
They knew very well people are kinda backshitting the show just out of the disappointment of season 8 of GOT and they really look nervous, the audience was completely dead, the host was terrible and it's such a shame.
I really believe that once the show is out and amazing, people will come around and the cast will feel more comfortable to be goofy and more chatty.
Thank you for posting this, it’s the only full panel video I could find💖

22:08 : Paddy Considine speaking High Valyrian, you're welcome.
Paddy Considine is an insanely brilliant actor.
I think I’m going to like him more!
@@user-nv2wt4hi8t He was great in World's End.
Yes the cast are a bit awkward and seem to lack chemistry, but I think that is just pressure and nerves. Gotta remember the cast of Game of Thrones didn’t have this kind of spotlight on them before season 1 aired. I’m hopeful 🤞🏻
Yeah most of the cast probably don't even share enough screen time together. Which is understandable because most GOT casts also never met during work and only met during convention like this.
It's not that they don't have chemistry , it's more so that they seem very awkard being in the spotlight.
Not true I’ve watched their recent interviews together & they have a lot of chemistry… I think sitting in front of a huge audience makes it difficult
Emma and Matt have really great chemistry also milly and Emily and milly and paddy have great chemistry also eve with steve lol
But they are actors. Aren't they supposed to be able to " act"' not being nervous?
I've been waiting for someone to post the whole thing, thanks!
Come next year the audience will be screaming for everybody, not just Matt and George.
Thank you so much for this video. I’m very excited to be able to see all the characters on screen soon and can’t wait to see if certain character traits are reflected in the series. I’m sure their acting will be amazing 🤗

THIS. THIS IS MY ENTIRE LIFE RIGHT HERE. I have been rooting fot the Dance of Dragons since I first read it in TWOIAF and when F&B elaborated I jumped in into becoming a full fledged artist for ASOIAF. I love this cast so much and I CAN NOT POSSIBLY STRESS how much I love Fabien. He’s just the PERFECT CRISTON COLE. Aside from that, I’m a loyal Team Black member that stands with Rhaenyra. Fire will reign everyone brace yourselves!!
I feel just the same hype as you do! I don’t think there is a single cast member I don’t like. It’s gonna be a hit!
I'm glad I'm not the only one really excited for this. It's gonna be a fun ride.
I agree 100%. Fabien looks great as Criston Cole. I also love the casting of Matt Smith for Daemon Targaryen. In my opinion, he IS Daemon Targaryen! That's almost exactly how I envisioned him to be on screen. Also, very excited for Eve's Rhaenys and Emma's Rhaenyra. I am team Black all the way and I am since I first read about the Dance Of The Dragons story-line. To thant end, I will be very very curios as to what exactly happened that made Criston Cole changes sides in this conflict, because when Rhaenyra was little, he was her protector.
@@andreim.5324 I'm so excited for house of the dragon, I am also team black all the way! Super excited to see the show! Absolutely adore the cast.
@@freddiemckellar7586 I feel you! I am more sure than ever, that this show will be the next global phenomenon and will set a new standard for TV.

Really excited to see Olivia Cooke go from Ready Player One to this. The host… not so much
I was thinking same
Yeah the host was so annoying like why they could have got a much better host and ask amazing questions but no this one sucks
Yeah, it wasn't as banter-y as some panels have been before. There wasn't a back & forth like you get with other hosts.
Agreed, something was just off, but maybe he was just super nervous. Can’t wait to see these guys in action!
I only ever saw Olivia Cooke in Ready Player One and I remember thinking what a wonderful actor she was while watching that movie. I could see the immense potential talent. I hoped to see her career rise and I was so excited when she booked this show. She's gonna kill it.
THANKS FOR UPLOADING

Eve Best is so lovely complimenting on that Rhaenys cosplay!
She is so wholesome🥺 I love her
This reminds me of the first game of thrones panel back in 2011
With respect, season 1 already aired before the actors went to the 2011 panel. The audience have seen season 1 already. As opposed to House of the Dragon. All they have are just the trailers.
But, if season 1 is as half as good as Game of Thrones, the 2023 comicon panel will be alot LOUDER AND BUZZIER.
@@davidwatson7196 yep

That high valarian bit was great 😊😊💯
It was about the writings of George. Really come on his humbleness. It's totally incredible. I'm seeing this on Sunday July 24th
This moderator just sucks at his job...
So excited about this! Can't wait for the final product.
It makes me a great and real impression to see the man from whom such a masterful and complex story came out, a story of hundreds and even thousands of years, I really think he is a genius, great George!
Why can't subtitles be activated in your video? I would like to be able to understand what the actors say!!
I feel George's comment about giving his characters up for adoption and whether they'd be "recognisable by the end" was definitely a little fig at D&D there. He knows deep down how horribly they handled the final season. I just hope this show delivers, Ryan was hand picked by George so he obviously has faith in him.
I also love the little dig he gives to D&D when he mentions you do not have to cut out characters from the book, or combine two characters in a show... That people are smart enough to handle how complex things get, and have the ability to keep up! D&D cut out several people from the book, and adjusted storylines that were meant for the cut characters. Like Jon Snow being called Aegon, when in the books there's already a secret person claiming to be Aegon. Like not including Lady Stoneheart... and so forth! They left so much out, and that had to be a dig at them!
@@BreLana Yup that too! Yet D&D wrote some great original material in the early seasons, the verbal sparring between Varys/Littlefinger, the Arya/Tywin stuff in season 2, just goes to show how much more invested in it they were then. But this isn't about the past though canonically it is, I just hope this show can hook us all back in again.
FINGER IN A BUM?????????????
George Lucas had the same sentiment. Remember his comment about selling his children (star wars) to Disney? Too funny.
I honestly hope that they continue to go back further in time, to show us more history! Like 4 seasons covering this! Dance of Dragons! Then 4 more seasons that take us back to Aegon's Conquest! And then finish it with the last 4 seasons covering what Old Valyria was like right before the Doom, and what the Doom looked like! That'd give us 12 solid seasons worth. Use this TV series to show us the *House of the Dragon* going back throughout their history, and not just this one event! Where we see the Targaryens, of course - but other similar families too! 💗
Eve is fire in this panel.
you made my day thank you so much

I think George could play a maester in his show
A cameo would be so cool
I could see him do that kind of role, or wear the costume at least. 🙂
He should write the Winds of Winter instead
Funnly enough, I believe George did play a jester or a maester in the original (failed) pilot of GOT. His part was cut out when the pilot episode was reshot.

10:14 😂😂 "so far" ...wonder if that was a very subtle shot at the tragedy of D&D.
Damn what a dead audience. They really didn't help with the actors calming their nerves
Because they were treated as a studio. The moderator is in charge of engaging them. They have no idea who they are. They were never even introduced.

Why would they not announce the actors and the character they’re portraying….?
Such a terrible panel. I’d have also incorporated slides so the Audience could see the faces to names of characters.

40:18 holy cringe
Some very odd questions... Like the question about what decree they would enact... Not sure what that's about. This panel is supposed to be about "House of the Dragon." Wasn't really watching this to learn about the cast as individuals, more about the show and the characters and how they are in it.
48:47 Noticed some possible shade at D&D here.

I know when Jason met with GRRM he immediately asked where the next book is just like on Binge Mode!
The most compelling/relief thing are that D.B. and Dave aren't attach to the series.
And that Ramin Djawadi is doing the soundtrack!
George said something soo interesting in here... " they are like my kids and if you give themfor adoption then you always wonder how they will be treated....if you recognize them when they come bakc " - thats exactly what happened in the nd of GoT with almost all the characters, just couldnt recognize them anymore
He said if you give them up for adoption, the word babysitter never came out of his mouth.
I recognized all the characters. 🤷♂️ It was rushed for sure, but pretty much everyone ended up exactly how I thought they would. I knew Dany was a problem since season 2, and I jokingly once said Bran should be king. Lol Didn't know he actually would be, but it all made sense to me. 8:35 "Our man from Dorne".. ? Cristin Cole was of the Stormlands. Sure, Black Haven, where he was born, is considered to be on the Dornish Marches, which is the southern part of the Stormlands, but you don't call them Dornish. They, in fact, actually have had a long history of feuds with Dorne. This was quite a flub on the nervous interviewer. I suppose the actor looks somewhat like a salty dornishman? The show wiki states he is of "dornish descent". However, this is never stated in the books. Some marcher lords have intermarried with the dornish, so it's not that hard to believe, I suppose. I wonder if they are going to try to give him a Dorne angle in this show?
They probably made him dornish so that they could have someone from dorne in the show because I don't think (haven't read fire and blood) that dorne ever gets involved in the civil war.
@@genericgamer2836 Yeah, as far as the text goes, prior to the Dance of the Dragons civil war, Dorne did fight against Daemon in his conquest of the Stepstones. At the beginning of the Dance of the Dragons, Otto Hightower sent a raven to Prince Qoren Martell for Dornish support of Aegon but Qoren refused to take part in the civil war. That's about the extent of Dorne's involvement.

Thank you
THANK YOU
Thank you so much, Its morbin timeeeee
I love olivia cook and young rhaenyra
Well, it was not the best panel but I enjoyed it. I don't think they lack chemistry, maybe a bit, but for me they were nervious , that's all. They'll get better in the future (I hope). Some of the questions were dumb ( fans and moderator). Pissed me off they didnt ask emily or Olivia questions about alicent. ( Could've been interesting) and I love Paddy 's sense of humor. He was great!!! I'm SO hyphed for this show!!! Dragons are coming 🔥🔥🔥
Btw I love seeing grr Martin there ( he deserves it) and I'm glad he's part of the show. Let's hope he finishes the wow soon!!!
They don’t need to get better at interacting with each other or at entertaining the audience, the only thing they have to do is to be great actors because that’s what their job is about
The guy didn’t ask about Alicent and he didn’t really ask about relationships between characters at all. He should’ve asked about Rhaenyra/Alicent’s relationship, Damon/Viserys’ dynamic.
