Gertrude Berg, Mae Questel, Cedric Hardwicke, and Mary Wickes star in the 1962 college comedy episode, "Gentleman Caller," co-starring Skip Ward and Karyn Kupcinet.
I like hearing the contrast between Mrs. Berg's and Miss Questel's accents! Mrs. Berg (1899-1966)was only nine years older than Miss Questel (1908-1998) and both were native New Yorkers. Yet, Mrs. Berg ( in character) sounded closer to having an Eastern European immigrant's accent while Miss Questel definitely had that native New Yoiker accent!
Gertrude Berg, was an Amazing & Farsighted & gifted First Lady of Television. I enjoy the many Episodes of her body of Work. She showed great Courage and loyalty to her Costar during the Awful & Discriminatory Pall of McCarthy's Reign of Personal Terror leveled at Artists during those Dark Days. She was a true Jewel and may she Continue to shine on New Generations of viewers. Shawneequa Pearson Wyche, Fan
The wonderful Gertrude Berg, born Tillie Edelstein (1899-1966)

Boy do I love this, these actresses were gold.
Thank you for making this available to Gertrude Berg fans!

Betty Boop!
Sorry the real Betty book was black actually. They stole her image and voice and put a white face on her.
Grace? She died 30 years ago! - Aunt Bethany
En español por favor gracias
Why didn't she keep her name as Goldberg this could've just been a continuing of the show after her husband died
No music at the ending credits?
