I'm european myself and to be fair: I have to say those aren't US ultras. Those are just normal fans. Of course it's a different experience but you don't have to go to the dangerous blocks of the stadium, if you don't want smoke.

The issue is that you are not allowed to use flares and those kinds of things here. My club LAFC used flares after we progressed to the final and we got banned from having fans there and our ultras section getting limited.
