Thanks for the points video/ discussion! I haven’t been following the game super closely for a while and I just picked up the phoenix cell pack so this was REALLY helpful 😅
Jake is NOT pushed out because of the list because of the New pilots, no worries mate, ashoka does a move, spends a Force or Two to let Jake (after k-turning) boost back into the fight, gets r1 of ashoka, She gets a focus and then....
Only then we move to her Action step. (Targetlock-link to boost and you've a fully modded proton Rocket shot.) :)
As a side-note, Vessery with the Defender Elite is hilarious because he gets the lock for free just for shooting. Shoot an ion cannon, take the lock, then dump the second shot into the same target without hampering your action economy by taking the lock initially.

Hera is built for an epic B-Wing (or A-Wing) wing: She moves her squad at initiative 6, she fires at initiative 6 and if she didn't use her token, she can give it to one of her wingmates.
I'd take Jake over Sabine/Wedge every time, but I'd rather take both or all 3 - definitely an option for an epic wing since they are so cheap.
Hopeful is also ideal for epic wings.
BTW, even for low point casual play, wings are great. I just built a 150 point wedge led xwing squad.
Brilliant Evasion and Extreme Maneuvers on Ahsoka. Windmill slammed that one down.
Goran with strikers is going to be the new meta, due to the way it interacts with ailerons, you can always go evade-focus if you keep bumping you rown ships. Is disgusting XD im expecting it gets FAQ'd soon i don't think is a healthy way to play x-wing

I'm alway amazed at how well y'all know the intricacies of these perks. granted I've only played 2.0 a handful of times but I still feel clueless as to what does what.
Remember at the beginning of 2.0 Fenn Rau looked way over costed compared to aces in other factions, but he still gets regular play

Where are the lists found?
Isn't Hera an i5 on the ghost? One of the few times I've seen a pilot change skill. Only other one zi can think of is the i4 anakin on the N1

Still trying to wrap my head around the i6 generic Interceptor the imperials got. Hera is rediculess.
Excited the named Interceptor pilots are all Hyperspace-legal.
Disappointed that Vader is both 115 points AND can't take Sensors. Right now, my best list with him is with Whisper with Juke, 5th Bro, and Stealth Device. I wish I could at LEAST throw Hate on Vader with this list.
Vader in a defender is a meme, it can never be allowed to be good, just like Luke gunner.
Vader in a Defender is, to use 40k terminology, a distraction carnifex. He's immensely threatening on the tabletop... in theory. He pairs especially well with Whisper and Soontir if you run all three close to bare bones, and at that point Vader's role is to soak up firepower and distract for the squishier Soontir.
I wish Vader could take FCS, but Advanced Sensors probably would have been nutty, so I’m ok with the slots.
Sabine is overcosted on the Awing.
It's not huge, but I see Glebb being useful in situatuons where a support ship like the Decimator doesn't want to worry about doing a blue maneuver next turn. So it does the red coordinate for a higher initiative ship and passes it the stress. The coordinated ship can do a blue maneuver and get 2 actions that turn, and neither ship is stressed.
I don't recommend using deci as support ship it needs its own support ship like a lambda lol
It's an example. While it doesn't make sense to use one of the Empire's most expensive platforms purely as support, it has coordinate naturally, and now there's the means to use it more often without fear of stressing the ship.
@@clayclarke577 the lambda is better thoroughly as a support ship. Even with a white coordinate for extra points you don't have, it's absolutely terrible if all it does is coordinate lol the turns it does have shots they are weak. And no defense whatsoever. Taking Sai with title alone is a far better value. Same price as cheap deci ( lol no such thing) you even get Vader crew if not using pilot or palp not that I love him. Usually he's only in my lists if I really can't fill a crew slot or 3 pts instead of budget force point 7th sis. I found ONE useful build for deci and its not s tier a maybe. Rac agile title 7th sis Sai title and nude fel. It's good but the more enemy ships at a time the scarier. Though Sai and rac stay reinforced and target locked. They can trade blows with lots of lists while fel either hides or flanks depending on danger levels he mops up whatever is left most of the time.

Skerris is unfortunately DOA on both platforms
46 for an i5 interceptor with blank text might be OK, and Skerris has an ability that while mostly blank could help against other aces. But yeah, his Defender is trash.
@@thebitterfig9903 his ability against aces means he’d be rolling 2 green dice with only three health though.... plus he’s only 2 points cheaper than Ciena
i think you take vader nude, nothing is really good on him, hate IF you have elite on there. otherwise he doesnt need it its a waste of points. i dont know if i like this vader, may try him with rac but i dunno. cant have enough on rac to have him not melt immediately. he has got to at least have a force user, title, agile gunner and tua imo bare min is agile, title and 7th sis. think can do like agile gunner and agent k with vader lol. i dont like that as 2 ship lists arent great in general in 2.0 with a few exceptions (not really imps or fo though) rac will not have constitent enough dam output. 48 pts is ok i guess for the interceptor i think it should be 42.
The elite title is a trap, and should only ever be considered on Vessery, imo.
@@StriderZessei I agree mostly though on ryad is OK too bc you still get white k turns. Personally I'm not a big fan of 2.0 defenders I hate that they buffed them and made em even more outrageously costed. I miss 1.0 thrusters ☹
@@StriderZessei Honestly, Elite title maybe could have been negative points. I’d probably rather face three Deltas with TDE and Autoblasters than three with Full Throttle.
Dauntless and Lone Wolf fit on RAC with Vader.
