The collectors anxiety has moved from collecting rare items in open world games to collecting world records in fitness games. Nice

Quarks are "confined" because of the strong nuclear force, manifested as gluons. I'm pretty sure he was referring to levels in games like, for example, Mario, where the speed of the screen is automatic and therefore it's impossible to save any time during the level (assuming you were actually confused and not joking)
