As you switch it on, if you move the slider up very slow you can achieve the “halfway” wing look and still have lights and sound. Doesn’t always have to look like it’s a strong signal 😎
You can very easily take it apart with a philips and by looking directly under the slide, there is a small white flexible plastic band that has notches on it which fall into teeth on the underside of the slide, take tweezers or just your fingers and pull that flexible band out and walla you can now put the wings in any position you want, I highly reccomend anyone looking to DIY a costume or video to buy this toy
I've had one now for a few weeks and, yeah, didn't know about the shake feature! lol I'm playing with it now... o.O
Me either. I was disappointed with it as it was until that.

This is the kind of PKE Meter I wanted as a kid, not the one that came with the Proton Pack.
Also FYI, accidentally used the Ghost Whistle image when showing it can attach to the new Proton Pack.
I was ready to write this off as "meh", but I didn't know about the motion controls! Way to bury the lede, Hasbro. While I would've liked something closer to the Spirit one, I do have to admit shaking it around is kinda stupid fun.
While I do like the kenner toy style of it I might by one and paint it black and give it some weathering for it to be more screen accurate. But I don't think I'll be the only one doing this mod.
You mentioned the trigger on the bottom of the grip and that it’s for attachments. Well when watching after life I noticed there is a trigger there in that spot that I never saw before in the older movies but I saw it in its opening scenes and later when the grand daughter had it. It was also red.
That is being delivered to my house tomorrow so excited

The pke shocker mode could also be a reference to the extreme ghostbusters pke meter as the "wings" of that one aren't wings at all. It's supposed to be a shocker

I don't need or want it (well sort of want but passing on it), but for 15 bucks this is a really cool pke. I'd have flipped out as a kid if the rgb pke was this cool.
It would be easier to hear the sound effects without the background music. Or would unfettered audio trigger a copyright strike?

When I saw it turn into the taser in the movie I thought it was cool it gives the pke meter an extra use
