Fine job, sir! And I'm always so impressed by how CLEAN everything is in your videos!
Yeah, much better than that Lightsaber from Fred’s. Cheap, plastic-looking. Not even bright!
@@SCU3A_S7EVE hahaha
You are a breath of fresh air in a mask filled world.
Jenson dance break, yay!
LOVE the labels

Finally a classy and easy way to differentiate between my sugar and powdered laxative, that won't ruin another dinner party. Love it! Educational, enriching and entertaining!
Perfect! 🤣
The Crafsman sent me and I'm REALLY glad he did!
Glad to have you here!
Craftsman ain't wrong...........this channel is awesome! You deserve way more subscribers. I'm now going to binge watch the rest of your videos!
Thanks! Glad to have you here!
Very nice, mirrored basically my own finds when I started doing FeCl3 brass etching! One thing which may also help is a bit of heat when you're etching. Setting the container on top of a radiator, or in a hot water bath, can dramatically speed up the etching. Especially if you're doing deep etchings this may be interesting as you'll get crisper lines around the mask. Really like the patination you put on them too! 🙂
Ooh I'll have to try that sometime! Thanks!
I'll have to try the heat also, hadn't heard that before.
Very nice new labels, Maker Monster. I like Art Nouveau so two thumbs up. Dance party!!
That's a funky cold patina
The Crafsman sent me here. Glad I found your channel!
Glad to have you here!

Exactly!
Recommend by the Crafsman, can't wait to watch all your videos!
Awesome, thank you!
@@TheMakerMonster what was the inspiration behind that creepy eyed mask?
The shop looks like it was inspired by Pee Wee's Playhouse.
Cool shop ,scarry mask.
Now that is cool! Nicely done!
Great video!
Thanks, Chris!
Another referral from the Crafsman. Lovin' the vibe and the info
Glad to have you here!
CrafsMan from SteadyCraftin sent me, I loved this first video I watched on your channel!!!
Same. Just watched the video on using SpeakON connections to create detachable power cables for tools. Oh, snap!
Glad to have you here!
It's so convenient!
They look absolutely amazing! So clean and crispy! Thanks for the idea
This is an awesome idea! We are definitely going to try this out as the applications are endless! Thank you MM!
Well this is just the coolest! I may have to try this! Great stuff bud!
Thanks, Ethan! Go for it!
That's an awesome project! I really want to try this now. Thanks for a new rabbit hole, and thanks for sharing!
These look so cool! I've had a stainless steel etching project on my back bench for a while now. I should get around to finally doing that. I thought I was the only person who had four types of flour at home... Oh, and the dance break cracked me up. 😂 Thanks for sharing!
One for cookies and one for pizza! 😂
The labels look great, such a cool technique!
Awesome looking signs!
This is awesome!!!! great video
That was fantastic!
Love this, doing the reverse etch. I've always etched the lettering and highlighted the letters with paint. Definitely going to try this method. Also, hanging with tape looks to be so much easier than drilling a hole and using fishing line.
Oh yeah, I definitely prefer it this way!
Those are gorgeous!
They look so pretty in the cabinet every day!
I love your set and props! Im a 90's kid Pee Wee fan and this hits all the marks for me. Thank you TheCrafsMan for the recommendation!
What could you use some fancy label upgrades on?
I need a nice label on the dog's biscuit jar. Maybe that will stop my roommate from eating them?
My children?
Oh my cuteness!! 🤗 those are so cool!
Super cool technique and very good instructions! Thank you!!!
Thanks, Becky!
Oh snap, that's awesome 😎
They look great!!
Thanks, Andy!
Here via @TheCrafsman… and so happy about it.
Great job! Definitely want to try this to label my projects.
You most definitely should! I've made a few more since then and each one is still exciting
very cool!!
awesome!
This turned out amazing. They look so good. Definitely don’t want to get those mixed up.
It was an upgrade every time. Bags of flour -> Glass jars with bad labels -> Glass jars with great labels -> ???
brilliant
They look awesome 👏
Ive just bought a Cricut and have been making a lot of stencils for glass etching. Gonna have to try metal now!
Do it! Let me know how it goes!
Those are SO COOL. :D
Label EVERYTHING!
Those look fantastic! I could easily see these being perfect for some potion labels or creepy scientific experiments too!! Plus I've always wanted one of those jewlers saws, thanks for the excuse!
The saw is great! 100x better than trying to use a giant coping saw. Fully recommended
Love this project! Especially how doable it is without a proper studio space :)
It really is! I actually brought the stuff home and made a few at home too 😀
Crafsman sent me!
Glad to have you here!
oh man! I'm sooo doing this!
Do it! I want to make more for everything else now!
Keep it up
Crafsman likes you. I like you. Subbed!
And now I like you!
You do sound like Glenn Sturgis from The Superstor series :-)
Haven't heard that one before! 😄 I'll have to give it a watch
This would be great to label each pot with which strain its growing
Well now I need a vinyl cutter.
I don't use it too often, but when I do it's very nice to have
Amazing video! I really like how those labels turned out :) how could I make the vinyl part if I don't have a vinyl cutter? Those are really expensive where I live
You can use almost anything that will block the acid from getting to the metal. Paint, toner transfer, etc. Crafsman has a good video going over some of the other options czcams.com/video/QaENUHSaaRM/video.html
What vinyl did you use for this? This is great.
The Crafsman sent me
Glad to have you here!
Would a 4mm sheet of brass be too thick for this method? Not 100% sure if the thickness will affect the way it interacts with the acid or not.
Nope, you should be fine!
👍👍👍👍👍
At time line 1:17 why the transparent sheet is used. This will act as a resist. Actually this part is to be exposed for the ferric chloride to eat away the metal. Please clarify will you remove the transparent sheet before etching.
Crafsman sent me.
Glad to have you!
@@TheMakerMonster I love your channel! I covet your woodworking tools.
I dont get it how will the acid etch if you cover the drawing with plastic ?
You only cover where you don't want etched. Anything left exposed will be etched.
That mask is totally traumaticing pls don't do the mask again
