Henry is simply the best performance car reviewer. Consistently close to perfection IMHO and backed by excellent production values, great words covering both facts and emotions. Cinematography and scenery usually spot on. Keep it up Henry, you always make my day.
Easily on par with Chris Harris both are phenomenal journalists
Thank you. Very kind.
Donât forget he also is a very good driver. Unlike all these other CZcamsrâs, like VehicleVirgins (Porker), StradMan, and TJ Cunt, who buy all these very nice cars, but lack driving skill.
you got some brown on your nose mate.
i guess Im asking randomly but does someone know of a way to get back into an instagram account??
I was stupid lost my password. I would appreciate any tips you can offer me!
The car is certainly nice but the real star in this video was Henry's glorious hair.
Last film before a fairly extensive shearing!
Haha funny comment! The beauty of his hair is magnificent
Actually the real start is the English countryside.
Sponsored by L'Oréal
Needs a .Gif making , when hes on track its a glorious infusion of speed and hair wafting :)
Man, this is one of the best produced videos iâve ever seen
Go check out Mr jww channel - First drive Ferrari F12 TDF.
Best one for sure..... at least since the last Carfection vid lol
Sometimes this guy narrates like he's sitting on a rock in the middle of a meadow watching sheep graze in the early morning hours and there's a slight drizzle as the nightly fog drifts away from the rising sun peeking over the horizon...
I love the way even the subscribers are narrators in their own right
dank...u can be a poet
longest sentence ever...
he is 'hardcore but haptic' after all.
meanwhile he's actually pulling over 1g in a 600+ hp supercar lmao
If only BAFTA recognised videos like this - the best production quality of any CZcams channel.
A nice reminder of the joy of driving.
Crazy that a 600hp mid engined supercar can operate so effectively on the same width front tyres my 200hp diesel bmw does. Mclaren really knows their business.
Your car is probably overwheeled!
Can we just a minute to appreciate the camera work, editing and production of this video? I am not a videographer but man alive that was just beautiful to watch. Don't get me started on Henry. Good going lads!
600LTs are epic.. test drove one and couldn't stop thinking about it compared to my 991. Inspires so much more confidence on the road and so much more emotions. People will understand once they drive one. Keyboard reviews/commenters are just echoing what they see or read on the internet about fires, etc. Go to your nearest dealer, have an open mind and experience it yourself.
I took delivery of my 2020 Lt600 spider a week ago. this was fabtastic but made me
realize i need too get my arse too a track with it;-). its an amazing car!
Still don't understand how this channel doesn't have more subs. The quality of the content is stellar.
Fantastic car, fantastic review and fantastic visuals. Thanks for this!
That drone shot with the music just as the road section starts was magic
I am lucky enough to to own a 600LT Spyder, in Luminarie Green, this is my second McLaren , never had 1 issue in my ownership, the cars have been incredible to own , the 600 LT is incredible driver focused machine, that you donât have to drive flat to enjoy the experience đ
Congrats Brent- it is truly an amazing car, I have a 570S that I love so I canât even imagine how incredible the LT version is. Have you ever driven a 675LT and if so curious how you think it compares to the 600 you have?
jameswillard1 Hi James , nice to hear from another McLaren owner , unfortunately I havenât had the opportunity to experience a 675LT, there have been a few U tube reviews comparing the two. Off to Germany to drive Nordschleife early August with Apex Taxis who have take a delivery off the new 620r , đłgreat content, if you are ever in the Shropshire area đ€ đ
Thank you Henry for showing us time and again that proper motoring journalists are a cut above.
Another impeccable film by the Carfection Team, thank you very much to everyone involved in the process, and to Henry for delivering yet another great review. Two thumbs up!!!
So much flair in Henry's reviews. I feel like I'm in the car with you enjoying every moment
The videography in this is beautiful. The dark thunderclouds in the background of the race circuit and the dwindling light of dusk on the drive back home are superb additions. They add an additional layer to the story of the car and Henry's driving. It makes me appreciate the beauty of a drive in the late evening along an empty British B-road. Kudos to everyone on the Carfection team.
I gave up the idea that this video was gonna ever come out. But I open CZcams to see this, first thing, and my day is 10x better. Thank you guys for all the work you put in. McLaren is my favourite car brand and y'all have done it justice as with all other cars. Thank you. â€
The best in the game.
And itâs not even remotely close. Henry4prez 2020!
Just the video I've been waiting for!
Another wonderfully entertaining detailed car review thank you sir Henry catchpole đđ
I tell you what man, I get really happy when I see a new video on this channel. Superb as always.
Nailed it just again...
Epic
Well done Henry, great video. Nailed it again đ
Another superb presentation Henry. Never get bored watching your videos. You just need to crank more out to us all!!!
Great video makes a pleasant change for a person not talking about depreciation and talking about what a performance car is all about đ
I am always so impressed by the quality of these videos. Could easily be from Top Gear or Grand Tour both of which will have significantly more people and money to throw at the production. Amazing.
Great video, I love the 600LT it's bonkers
Great video and the carfection production never disappoints.
I genuinely donât know where this channel goes from here in terms of production values. Superb and sublime motoring content.
The 570S/600LT Spider is still my #1 dream car. đ
Basically the greatest car reviews goes to carfection
Great video Henry, beautifully filmed, expertly driven and surely the most articulate motoring journalist in the UK... "hardcore but haptic..." love it!
Just beautifull, all of it... another masterpiece đđ»đđ»
Feels great to see that incredible car
Great Video! Thanks for the timestamps as well, nice to have if you wanna show a particular section to a friend!
That grin on Henry's face, @ 3:13, says it all.
Best supercar presented by the best automotive Moderator by one of the best car CZcams Channels ends up to be the perfect video
Admirable alliteration!
Brilliant review as always. The 600LT Spider is still the best drivers car I have driven on my channel. Hard to fault đ
Thereâs car reviewers and then thereâs Henry with Carfectionâs video production. Really amazing as always
With that hair, Henry looks like a lion when going fast
Even race bucketseats canât stop Henryâs trademark squirming!
What a beauty đ€©
The colour fits the car so good
"Nice!" Excellent driving also! The best looking car all around!
Charlie strikes again! Awesome Episode
saw one of these at a car show this weekend, they are baller
When Henry has a big smile on his face while driving a car, you know itâs good. I tend to now rate a car using the âHenry Smile-ometerâ đ
He really just writes love letters to all these cars. The way he describes this, or the chiron truly remind me of how one would describe their feelings with a past love. I absolutely adore your presentation in these, you are the Frank Ocean of car reviewers.
ART
The 600 lt hard top has just come out. I bet them owners are happy.
Just trade it in for a spider. If you canât afford that, donât buy super cars like this. People who cry so much about resale values are just renters who have no business getting these cars to begin with.
Wonderful video guys, whenâs the TV show coming
About time McLaren designed a new set of rear lights for these. They're really starting to anchor the car's aesthetics in the past.
Agree. Looks 2016ish :/ and bulit quality is utterly âMehâ
Another fantastic review. Insightful, entertaining and eloquent. Thank you Henry and team.
I would love to hear your thoughts on the customer experience from McLaren and what this means as a purchase proposition.
I have considered McLaren. The cars, when the work, tick a lot of my boxes. But, so long as the after sales service is as poor as it seems, I think they are a no-go. That said, given the second hand values, perhaps they make an attractive purchase after 1-2 years and 10,000 miles. Or is the risk - of stress, not only expenditure - still too high to justify the rewards?
Great review, as always. Hoping an SF90 review is inbound...
Henry and the team, another truly wonderful episode. Just beautiful. Thank you.
How is this not even at 100k views yet? People be sleeping on carfection still
Can't wait for the 765LT version of this video
Money no object
What a life to live! âșđ
Mate your hair is ON POINT
Electric power steering lack the feedback and road feel because of their mechanic layout.
The electric motor needs to have a large gear ratio, this means the motor have to turn several revolutions for only a small steering input.
This filters out the small "fast and quick" feedback from the road.
And from the drivers perspective it feels a little like there is a brake dragging on the steering column, which dampens the steering wheel.
A hydraulic system have less rotating mass (or Inertia) which is way better.
(although not for fuel consumption, if the hydraulics are driven by the engine)
Great video as always !!
Lovely đđ„
đ€ was the road part of this filmed on the B4000 by Ashdown house? Another great one đđŒđđŒđđŒ
All Mclaren buyers seem to be obsessed with options, MSO this MSO that all trying to make thier car 1 of 1 ,to make thier car stand out from all the other mclarens when its time to move the car on ,playing into Mclarens hands nicely as the cost of the options are crazy . Another great video Henry ! Im sure Mclaren wouldnt be happy if you ever decided to buy a low spec mclaren for yourself one day ... but maybe the car will be all the better for it.
Itâs curious that in their pursuit of more performance, the old V8 used in the 12C/650s/P1 is more sonorous than the new unit. The way the P1 howled was phenomenal, however the 765LT is supposed to be something else.
It's the absolute perfect color. Lipstick red.
nice
Henry Catchpole a motoring reviewing poet !
that car in plum purple would be perfect
That road to Lambourne is very bumpy, a good place to test the suspension
How are your pans and tilts so damn smooth!
1:38 Yes, and it also breaks down easily like every other McLaren.
No different to Ferrari's then. Except if anyone reported their Fezza broke down, they'd likely be shunned by Ferrari.
@@shogun2215 Wake up next to a horses head you mean.
Itâs only McLaren that get these snobby comments,
Mainly from Ferrari fan boys because they know deep down McLarenâs are the better drivers car.
Mini Mead3 exactly! Iâve always said that Ferrari should be thanking their lucky stars that Mclaren has its reputation (whether true or not) regarding reliability and resale .....because they absolutely murder Ferrari when it comes to building the better drivers car
What a video
Excellent video by Henry, as usual.
Unfortunately, all I see is unreliability and lack of quality control when I see a McLaren now...
Sad!
Iâve driven a 570s it was such a monster to be perfectly honest it actually scared me a bit
Yeah, I had the 570s and now a 600lt, 600 is definitely more planted, especially at high speeds. I loved my 570, but hard breaking from above 130 was a bit sketchy. Definitely a blast.
Nocturnus do you own it?
Will Bennett yup! If youâre considering one, I can definitely recommend it. Great car!
Iâve no interest on this McLaren, but only to your film. Just love to watch Henryâs.
The new Steve&Jeremy has born
Here for the quality of the video

CZcams: starts a Carfection video at 144p
Me: How dare you!
The senna seats look somewhat out of place in a convertible but I kinda like it.
The problem I have with 21:9 clips in a 16:9 video is that if youâre on an iPhone X or 11, you also have black bars on the sides too
Not even remotely a McLaren fan (not of the modern area anyways, love their F1 road car and racing team though) but I would watch Henry review a Reliant Robin on a race track.
Sometimes a company makes a product thatâs not necessarily their most expensive that just hits a sweet spot with itâs intended purpose and
therefore feels like not too much but just the right amount of everything. This car looks to be just that. Only tick a few options if youâre getting one. Itâs just right as it is đđŒ
This is basically porn.
joshua No it is not. It is sit com waiting for your money to make them laugh
Yaaaaa
How does it compare with a MP4-12C?
I'm with you I'd take this over the 720S. But then there's the 765LT, you only have to look at McLaren's track record with their LTs and you know without driving it that it will be a masterpiece of engineering.
Agreed. The only McLarens worth having are the LT cars. The regular cars are not in the same category. The 720s is boring compared to the 600LT
The words in the begining. Poetery. Tenacious but tactile.
wishing there was a 60fps version..
Wait what! 225's on the front? Damn
3:07, perfect moment
You should upload your videos in 21:9, CZcams supports the aspect ratio!
Will Henry be getting a go in the 620R?
With all the reported problems, would you spend your own money on one?
Have you had any problems while testing a MacLaren?
What are the common problems?
What problems you talking about Willis?
It's probably best to get one used. These cars drop prices quicker than the stock market crashes......
I absolutely love McLaren, I have driven a lot of their range at this point and they are absolutely incredible space-age machines. I love the F1 team, and itâs amazing to see them perform so well so far this season! I do want to own one someday, but itâs unfortunately not quite there yet.
The people I drive with who have McLarens are always having issues, often on our drives and backroad runs. These are referred to as âMcLaren Problemsâ Generally these are electrical gremlins and not full on power train issues, but still annoying enough to make it tough to live with.
I feel like they are on the cusp of becoming reliable, and I hope they do get there soon, for everyoneâs sake, mine included!
Mel P if you donât know them already Iâll leave you in your magical bubble. Hopefully you will be able to pour your money down McLaren pipes. They need people like you blind sighted and naive to keep them alive.
What about the Quality Control issues?
The car so fast i cant even listen to his words
Just waiting for the 625LT Wednesday edition before I make up my mind âŠ
Another GREAT car from Mclaren. Their LT products are just insane and such a step up from the standard cars. The 600LT is fantastic but its still not as good as the original 675LT. The UNlimited SPORTS series 600LT misses the expensive banned F1 technology of active aero and hydraulic suspension on the LIMITED SUPER series 675LT. That said the biggest issue with the 600LT versus the 675LT is the number produced which at circa 2,500 units worlwide and 350 RHD in the UK its over three times as many as the only 500/500 worlwide probably 100 RHD in total 675LT
They have the 620R for people who want limited numbers. Did not even publicise it. They are playing both fields.
