6yrs later and it turns out that SUVs have really eaten into sales of _saloon_ cars the most. Estate/Wagon sales definitely took a hit, but you still have many options for new estate cars from all sorts of manufacurers. A great example is the post 2016 Toyota Corolla. Hatchbacks and Estates are abundantly available and both highly praised, but the Saloon version is arguably more rare than certain classic cars on UK roads

Im so lucky I got one of these. Its not all about outright speed and handling and power ( I have a car that beats the Lambo on all of these) - but Italy understands DRAMA and EXCITEMENT and PASSION. Sometimes these are better than being faster and better.
