dude is super smooth style and sets that board in trim without goosing it or stomping the tail it’s beautiful, real surfing, truly going with the wave energy not fussing, splashing, slashing or any of that stupid ‘performance’ crap.

Twin keels
Was gonna strip and reshape my pin single longboard into a more streamlined shape, but after watching that mega twin fish I think I’ll try this design first.
Update,I did strip that board down and I am currently re-shaping it into a swallowtail.
I’m not brave enough to try twin fin though. Lol

So, the shape ended up as a thick 9’0 round pin with a wing.
I rode it several times but I wasn’t happy with the overall shape of the board. I should have added way more edge to the rails for extra drive on the round pin.
BUT… I tried it with keel fins and it was by far the best fin set up I tried on that board.
I tried multiple single fins, thruster, 2+1, and lastly the twin keel fins.
The keel fin was the fastest, loosest fin set up. Also the most stable, and it rode the highest line by far on hollow waves.
I have a nice riding 10’6 pintail glider I just ordered fcs side plugs for from Amazon for so that I can try the keel fin set up on a super nice existing shape that I already like.
I’ll update in a few weeks when I finally get to surf again and the side plugs are in.
@@woodman1701 sick! I kinda can't visualize what twins on a board that long feels like -- the 'skatey-ness' feeling I associate with twins I've only felt on shorter boards. I've surfed a bunch of single fin and 2+1 logs but never that.

Well, as it turns out the last time I went surfing to try it it was like 1 foot waves, and I started to serve, and on the third wave either second or third wave. I ended up snapping one of the fins off because it was so shallow. So I didn’t really get a good chance to try it out on the 10 six Pintail glider.
