I knew when I clicked on this Rob was gonna be on his BS, he didn’t disappoint.
He never does haha
It’s ridiculous how much Rob disrespects this dude Steph.
You can tell Rob own Barbershops. Full of ish arguments. Lol
Lol!!!
Rob like to be objective...
Steph has a whole 15 min clip of clutch shots he hit in the playoffs on CZcams. Plus Steph in 2015 had the second highest ppg in the fourth quarters in the finals all time right behind Shaq. But he was the most efficient. He also averaged more points then kd in the fourth quarter of 2018 finals as well.
Why isn't this ever stated as a rebuttal by Chris?
Exactly, Chris and Rob should do more research as so called journalists.
Too bad he chokes in the finals 🤷🏾♂️😭
I also read Steph hasn’t missed a free throw in the 4th quarter of the playoffs since 2015
@@Chessbox09 congrats, all those FTs just to miss out on 3 Finals MVPs 😂😂
Rob saying what steph has done isn’t remarkable actually says a lot about how great he really is. It doesn’t even seem remarkable because of how consistently insane he is.
Lol.
Rob is from the old school🤒🤣🤣🤣🤣
these old timers are xactly that......

@@stifler5062 Maybe if they did it during a era where defense was actually played it would be respected, But since they don't only youngsters who don't know any better think players and their stats & records today are impressive.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
He shoots a bunch more threes. No defense. It’s not that impressive
@@JM-qn3tf then you go out and do it better since it not that impressive so many idiots on the internet 🤡🤡😂😂
At this point its just haterism fromRob Parker. Steph Curry has the three point record. On top of that he has a career 3 point percentage of 43%. He is seventh all time in three point percentage but the 6 guys ahead of him are not even in the top 50 all time in total three pointers mad. Out of the top 50 in three pointers made he has the highest career 3 point percentage. So if he can combine high volume with high efficiency and accuracy what more do you need to crown him the best shooter? The argument that there is a higher volume of threes attempted and that's why it took less games than Reggie Miller and Ray Allen to hit these numbers only holds water if he's just a chucker but he has a higher career three point percentage than either of them. This is while also having a much higher number of attempts that are unassisted or off the dribble than those two and some of those shots made are a higher degree of difficulty. If you actually look at his volume, career percentage, degree of difficulty, and range of his shots in totality you start to realize how insane this dude is at shooting the ball from distance.
As far as him underperforming in the finals that is true to a degree but not as much as people think. I mean he does also have the record for the most threes in a finals game with 9 and most threes in a finals series with 32. The narrative that he underperforms in the postseason is overblown. Also postseason does not mean just finals but all the playoff rounds so even if Steph Curry underperforms a bit in the finals he has had several clutch moments in the playoffs if you include all the rounds leading up to the finals.
I agree- I don’t take Rob Parker seriously anymore. I’m not sure what Steph did to offend him but he’s just salty (although Tom Brady has the same argument when it comes to Parker’s hate). I think he knows hate gets more attention than love. The argument for Steph in the playoffs is insane. Steph is top 10 all time in ppg in the Finals. He was injured in the 2016 finals but he never complains or brings it up- but everyone loves to talk about Kylie being hurt in 2015. As you or someone said, there is a video online of Steph hitting ONLY clutch PLAYOFF shots and it’s 15 minutes long. He has hit game winners but the thing is that Steph is so clutch in the last 5-6 minutes of games that he hasn’t needed to hit as many game winners. I can’t think of how many games he has helped put away by hitting clutch shots I the last 3-5 minutes of games. Steph should have a finals MVP (the thing Kellerman always points to - but even Max has eased up on the Steph hate). Iggy earned the fmvp in 2015 for his D but Steph was great that series- and another thing nobody pays attention to… In the 2018 Finals, Durant was doubled 3 times while Steph was Doubled over 40 times and he had a great finals series. Even when Steph doesn’t score, or get the assist, he is usually helping by drawing attention of other defenders. I have just come to terms with the fact that there are a few Steph haters but the false narrative about Playoff choking is crazy - Steph is ahead of Kobe in all time ppg in finals. I just would like for Steph and the Warriors to get another ring or two and for Steph to finally get a finals mvp to shut the last few people up.
And yet he has no finals MVPs so…. Yeah I he’s alright
@@skywalker2759 neither does Reggie or Ray wtf 😂
Yooooo this I almost hard to watch because he deadass thinks his argument is valid😬

I give credit to Rob, it's really hard to have a career as a straight up clown and for some reason he's still around. This is the only inarguable point in sports besides maybe the great one in hockey. The only argument against steph curry being the best shooter ever is being delusional.
Well Bozo the Clown had quite a successful career. And I guess Rob could be considered the modern day version. And rob even has a clown nose as well to boot.
The rule changes have made it WAY easier to shoot - TRUE or False?
@@ranma36 to shoot from distance? False. Most 3s back in the day were lightly contested because people would fight under screens and leave the corner for help defense because giving up a 3 was seen as a good defensive possession. Now, curry comes off a screen, gets trapped, doubled, grabbed, pushed, and pulls up to make it from 30ft anyway. Half of the 3s he takes in a game today are twice as hard as anything people in Reggies day would ever attempt
@@bradybimson9106 When defenders were able to handcheck that forced the ball handler to turn away from the basket.
True or False:
Is it easier to shoot squared up and facing the basket? Or after having to turn around and get a look at the basket?
@@ranma36 that's exactly my point, it was way easier to shoot 3s squared up back in the day when they weren't guarded. Until 2015, almost all distance shots all 3s were shot squared up because no one guarded them that closely, even with hand checking. Now, a significant amount of shots from Steph, Dame, Klay and others are started before they are square because of how they are guarded. Coming off screens and step backs off of having their back turned. Hand checking effected the midrange and ability for players to drive the ball, but people act like players in the 80s and 90s were forced off the three. They weren't forced, they just couldn't shoot it like they can now, and that's ok.

FK rob is dumper than I think
he's black version of skip😂
Rob needs to understand it's not just the amount of 3s. It's the percentage along with the range and style points of how he makes em. Off the dribble also and nit just spot up or off screens.
It has nothing to do with range or style or how he makes , its about the ball going in the hole. Shooters shoot mid range and long distance, not just throwing up 3s and missing most of them.
@@iaintthereyet914 Style points matter when you're measuring against other great shooters. It's why Jordan is considered best at mid range because of the percentage off the dribble and posting up and or fading away.
@@byronmartin1840 ...remember Klay hit like 60 something points off 11 dribbles, what was his style then. He would have the same amount of points, if he shot all step backs or if he ran off the screen or if he did a crossover, then took a three afterwards.
@@iaintthereyet914 Why don't you understand? If 3 shooters shoot around the same percentage and around the same amount of 3's and you have to choose one that's better or the best. Style, range and the degree of difficulty would have to be the deciding factor in choosing. You saying it doesn't at all sounds ridiculous.
@@byronmartin1840 ...You have an opinion just like I do, but a spot up 3 is the same as a 3 off the curl or half court shot, Then this becomes an additional stat on how you shoot the 3, with that being said ,Steph has made the most 3s in NBA history, that's it, like i said before, he takes more , but doesnt make more percentage wise, bc his misses way more. Simply put, Steph owns the 3 point record not the title of greatest shooter, just bc he shot the most shots from behind the 3 point line.

Klay won game 5 & 6
You must have mistaken Clay for Steph. Steph was MIA.
@@jessiemeredith9088 Klay was legendary in Game 6 but mediocre in 5 and 7. Steph was easily the best player in 5 and 7, especially Game 7 and also showed up in Game 6 as well with a near triple double. This is so easy to google and check for yourself. I never understand this type of behavior. Just check before you write about stuff you know nothing about.
@@galaxy2901 Same goes for you. You could've just googled this.
@@YaoSiabi Exactly. No one fact checks on CZcams. They just write comments and spew the nonsense they hear from the media. Steph has made plenty of clutch shots, and has hit plenty of big shots, hence why NO ONE wants him to shoot the basketball. You also have to understand that most people here don’t play or watch the sport regularly, so it’s easy for the media to say something and they simply regurgitate it. Steph can be averaging 40ppg in a series, but he’s MIA or not clutch because Klay or KD hit a couple OPEN shots BECAUSE HE’S being doubled and triple teamed. Granted, you have to hit the shot, so much credit to Klay and KD when KD was on the Warriors. But to ignore those SIMPLE FACTS when the internet has a plethora of information that’s one click away, is nonsensical. Steph is virtually never open for a game winner because everyone expects him to TAKE AND MAKE the last shot. He has to run an absurd amount of miles per game, as well as be a wizard with the ball to get the shots up because NO ONE wants him to shoot. NO ONE. These narratives about him not being clutch and not hitting big shots are simplistic and hold not an ounce of water. We’d rather talk about iconic shots that help certain players masquerade around as clutch players for all eternity. For example, Dame hit a shot over PG in the playoffs he’s clutch for all eternity, he doesn’t have to make it to the NBA finals and stopped getting bounced out of the first round so often. He can even be top 75. KD only had yo hit that shot over LeBron, and he’s clutch for life. Kyrie hit that one shot over Steph 5 YEARS AGO, and he’s clutch for life. People talk about the same ONE shots tor these players because they’re iconic. So a players greatness depends on ONE shot? If that’s the case, Curry’s has made WAY MORE than ONE iconic shot. Steph has 20/25min+ videos of him being clutch AND in the postseason season, but he doesn’t hit big shots. The information is there. People just don’t care about the truth.
Steph curry sent the pelicans home in the playoffs with a shot. He led 4, 4th quarter comebacks against the blazers in the wcfs. Steph curry went scoreless in the 1st half against houston in game 5 i believe and then went off for 33 in the second half. In 2015 curry in the pivotal game 5 of the finals he scored 37 points. He scored 47 against the raptors despite losing the game. In the game 6 klay game against okc he scored 33 to klays 41. But hey steph has no big moments in the playoffs. Hes never done anything great in the postseason. He only averages 28 ppg in the finals what a bum.
i know, this is insanity, get the worst takes ever
Exactly. It’s all narrative driven nonsense. They conveniently forget all of his clutch shots, his big games, etc. But let him have 1 “bad game” (at least by Steph’s standards) and he sucks. Interesting how it plays out. But Damian Lilliard who keeps getting sent home is “clutch” and players who Steph cooks in the playoffs are “clutch” but he’s “average” and can’t hit a big shot LOL. That’s where nonsense like “Give me Iggy for the last shot,” comes from. How insane.
@@Lee65100 Yes Iggy who is completely open and steph who has 3 guys guarding him. Nobdoy is perfect, has Steph come up small in some big moments in the finals, yes. @@ressestevenson7309 can you read? The comment was about Rob, genius!
And Brady haha
It didn't make him the greatest shooter bc he already was
Allegedly
Man, stop Hating. Rob Parker. Steph is “ The Greatest Shooter That Ever Played The Game.” Someone probably would try to catch Steph’s Record, but they will not do it the way he did it. Running off screen shooting, Off the Dribble shooting, Catch and Shoot, and just creating his on shot 28 feet to 30 feet shots. Come on Man who else in the past and Present has you seen do all of this in his Game. The Man is the G.O.A.T🐐 of Shooting period.
It’s not the amount of shots he takes, its the percentage of shots he makes and how he get those shots, being doubled teamed, box and one and still have games with 11/15 threes made foh. HE IS YHE GREATEST SHOOTER EVER period
Rob, taking the big "L" on this one. If Wardell ISN'T the greatest shooter of all time, then, pray tell me, who IS? Have the testiculars to answer THAT, Rob! You're being the polar opposite of a fan-boy...a HATER!
Exactly! Chris should have asked Rob simply..."Well if Steph isn't the greatest shooter ever, then who is?"
Rob is being a utter fool on this one. Curry is the best shooter by far. Its just not just made threes. It also ability. Hes a great spot up shooter hes catch n shoot, ability to create off the dribble and range. This guy is a threat anywhere on the floor soon as the ball is inbounded. Curry literally changed the game and the way the league is played now! Its not even close
Steals=3 point shots in NBA?
The 3 is the biggest Point value available in a game predicated on outscoring your opponent. To make this many at this rate should be celebrated. It’s the greatness of the evolution of the game we love shining through.
Rob ……. Stop it
It’s a shame that these guys don’t do their research before coming on here to talk, Steph has made many clutch shots agains Cleveland, rockets and a clutch 3 to send the game to overtime against New Orleans couple years back.
He made so many clutch shots agains OKC.
Chris Broussard if you going to defend Steph do your bleeping research!!
Isaiah Thomas…Rob’s pick for best PG ever…1987 ECF he got owned by Larry Bird aka Larry Legend and had the nerve to co-sign Rodman while laughing that, “If Larry was black he would be just another good guy” 🤦🏼♂️
Im a Celtics fan and I think Thomas is probably the most underrated player ever
He get so much honor becoz he made that record in less games
All I’m hearing here is the Steph curry hate from rob parker. It’s definitely going to be a while before anybody breaks it, we all are forgetting he’s not even done yet
I doubt anyone is ever breaking it
First Rob says Steph ruined the game because he’s got everyone shooting threes, then he says he’s not the best shooter. Next he says it won’t last long, but forgets Steph was INJURY PLAGUED in the beginning of his career.
And then they softened the game even more with rule changes because of it…he’s played in the softest era of hoop. 🤣✌🏽
"I will never be a fanboy, no way, no how" - RP
I believe whomever says Steph is not the greatest shooter ever should be obliged to state who they think IS the greatest shooter and provides reason as to why. Otherwise the argument is incomplete.
Ray Allen is the best shooter ever
Why because in the clutch you not giving it to nobody else
Curry has no clutch shots in the playoffs curry is zero for eight on game winners in the playoffs
Rob... Steph's halfcourt shot to win against OKC... you forgot
Exactly. I’m glad you brought that up. It’s convenient for people to forget all the big shots and big games Steph has and cover it up with fake pleasantries about him being a great player. Secretly, most fans and pundits alike hate Steph because of how quickly he ascended as a great player and disproved all of what they thought was impossible. It’s sad, but true. When you can is Google/search clutch postseason shots from Steph that’s 20min+ but no one knows it exists, or argues it, you can see that there is an objective to make sure that we don’t see how great Steph is. It’s like no one needs to fact check anymore, they can just say whatever they want, and people believe them because they are too lazy to do the research themselves.
Finally someone brought up that KD shot over LeBron like it was something spectacular. I’ve been thinking that shot was overrated since the night it happened.
It was one on one teams were fair and it was a dagger shot to put them ahead nothing overrated about that
@@fullmetal1766 those teams were not equal at all. No one thought the Cavs were going to win.
@@fullmetal1766 Cavs vs warriors was clearly not equal. Cavs won the championship prior to that. With no kd the warriors got to game 7 and loss to the Cavs.
A cheeseburger could replace rob parkers career and be just as impactful. Curry is universally recognized, and has been since what 2015 or 2016 as the greatest shooter ever. He’s also one of the greatest players of all time.
this is a dumb record.
imagine making this big of a deal about the most dunks ever?
does that make them a better dunker than vince carter?!
Rob's criteria for not putting Steph as the GOAT shooter is strange. What more evidence do you need?
They are not counting Steph attempts. They are counting his makes. Tose players will need to have a longevity and go deep into the playoffs to beat Steph’s 3 point record. And Steph is not retiring next year.
This show has to be one of the best sports shows currently. It doesn't have some big production or sets or anything. It's just so enjoyable to watch. I hope First Things First doesn't mess it up.
How's this for a clutch stat - Steph Curry only played 378 out of 984 possible 4th quarter minutes in the 73-9 season. Best regular season ever and the star of the show didn't have to play even half of the fourth quarter minutes 🔥🔥🔥
being the only player that change the game played in basketball and broke the record for most made 3 is already proven that steph is the greatest shooter ever
Rob's argument with regards to steph are all over the place. To him shooting/scoring/ability only means something the the last 2 min of a 48 min game or the last shot in a game. But yet can't say that durant has a worse legacy because he has never won anything without steph, klay and dray
No that’s not what he said. He acknowledged he is a great shooter but not clutch when it matters. Did you not comprehend that?
@@bbginc694 I comprehended that but that clutch shooting doesn't negate his ability to shoot. Dude literally is the hreatest shooter of all time but he's not the best
He literally changed the game so much that everyone is trying to do what he does and they can't. He's not a specialist but the main engine of the offense. The last 2 min to 10 seconds can't negate a whole game. And he tries to put on qualifiers all the time sith Kevin durant, but Kevin durant hasn't won without him either.
This is why they dont let Rob on TV anymore
Rob is the Black Skip Bayless lmao
I geeked when Rob said he’ll never be a fanboy😂🧐
Unless it’s Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant, Aaron Rodgers, Lamar Jackson, or Michael Jordan.
