Yeah, before this year, one of his arguments was the fact that Brady played in the AFC “Least” and had an easy ride to the Super Bowl every year due to having home field advantage throughout the playoffs. This Super Bowl run, Brady shut that argument up. Now Rob’s saying it was all because of the Bucs defense. Not one time this year did he bring up the Bucs defense until the Bucs beat Green Bay in the NFC title game.

He is considered the best ever because of everything else. While these mobile God gifted quarter backs like Mahomes rely on their athletic ability Brady is busy working figuring out how to be successful in spite of his lack of gifts. His story is one of the most inspiring in all of sports history. He is the best quarterback and the best "player" to set foot on a football field. Notice I did not say athlet or most talented. But those things by them selves don't make you the best. It's that plus everything else. Brady leads the pack in almost all the other categories. One day you will get it. One day you will come to appreciate it.

I don't think Brady will surpass Jordan. Jordan had a totally different impact on sport and sports marketing. But I don't agree with the great white hope thing. There was that thing with Larry Bird in the 80s when they were blatantly trying to push the GOAT narrative with Bird, but Bird never really acknowledged that.

Tom isn't great for his arm or his running skills. Tom is great because he is insanely disciplined, is humble enough to take a lower salary so his back office can surround him talent, he is accurate, he brings his entire team up in excellence, he can read a defense better than nearly anyone both pre and post snap, and he has the discipline to throw away a ball than throw interceptions.
