I just want to say this about Jace Malcolm, just a regular dude with no strong connection to the force only combat training and grit. This dude literally tanked force lightning from Darth Malgus, the strongest sith at the time, and still came at him with a knife while getting zapped. Not only that he bull rushed him and blew up a concussion blast grenade right in the dudes face while also being in point blank range.

@@BLOODYTHECLOWN666 Yeah I get what you mean. But you are missing out. I was skeptical at first but the clone wars really explains a ton of stuff. And I got hooked watching it, it is a very good animation series. I almost wish they would have done a live show about it right after the prequel movies were done. But to build all those worlds would be an insane cost for a live TV show.
@Tim Bailey I agree with you but the later series gets a little better and the story gets really good! Especially around Asoka, order 66 and darth maul. These cinematic sequences have so much feeling behind them, you can almost feel the aggression of the sith, would love to see this in a cinema

I think I speak for all star wars fans that we need a long feature film in this quality, I know it's expensive & I know it takes a long time, but with good writing & passion I feel it could be the best in the star wars universe, especially if we have the same people, responsible for these trailers, how amazing would it be to witness such great craftsmanship & story telling, for 2 hours long! I would be in awe all the way through! Absolute master class with these trailers 👏
We have like 4 decent-mediocre Resident Evil CG animated films. If a less popular franchise can manage that, then there's no excuse for Star Wars to not be able to utilize the format.
It would also be enitrely possible to make it without using 100% CGI. That would be alot easier.

People saying it isn't possible, but we have two Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse films. I wouldn't rule out a Star Wars film like this...someday.
I get that it would be expensive, but when Star Wars is literally merged with Disney now, there's no way they can go "overbudget". Final Fantasy and Resident Evil have comparably far less resources, especially back then, but managed to have CG animated films (although admittedly the first FF movie was very rough). The real issue would be that the style of CG animation associated with Disney is Pixar. They definitely can afford to do animation like the one in these SW trailers but they're too strongly tied to Pixar style CG animation.

Is it just me or does Malgus get bigger with every new storyline? He was always a beast but he's gotta be 7 ft tall now. That weirdly lanky sith android thing at the beginning barely covered him.
Actually, Wookieepedia states that his height is above 7 ft
he is taller, over the course of when he is featured he does get taller from about 7ft tall to about 8ft taller and larger because of the armor he wears..

I've seen clips of this in other star wars videos but never the whole thing. This was amazing, gave me chills. Disney needs to use this as a study guide on how to do star wars correctly. Wish so bad this could be a full length film

Unfortunately this type of animation is so expensive and time consuming, it would be nearly impossible to make a film or TV series without devoting huge amounts of money and time. You think the wait between Mandalorian seasons is bad? The wait for a SWTOR style animated series would be even longer.

Wow I got chills from this, the graphics are beyond amazing, the duels are well coordinated and the actors voices are great for the characters!
It goes to show just how cruel and callous the Jedi were as well despite their good intentions. Sometimes not doing anything is just as bad as doing harm. Even Anakins downfall could have been prevented if they saved his Mother as well, even though I do believe if Qui Gon survived he would have found a way eventually.

That’s the real point of Star Wars. The light and dark were equally vicious. Both tried to make a path of true freedom, but ultimately we’re after control. The Jedi literally groomed children from birth, not the good guys at all

Blur Studios, they made all the SWTOR cinematics. I would love to see more of this kind of animation but unfortunately it's just too expensive and time consuming for a company like Disney to pursue. Pretty sure these trailers cost like $1 million each to make. And that's for a 3-4 minute trailer, imagine how many more resources would need to be devoted to just get a movie, let alone a TV series.
That's like 10 million for 40 mins of animation, it's completely on budget and even a lot less than what Disney could spend on a movie.
Disney just sucks at Star Wars, that's just it.

Beowulf 2007 a pire CGI film only costs 150million USD on the entire production so I dont really think making a Star Wars like these cinematic trailers is that expensive , most people just exaggerate on the cost knowing Unreal Engine 5 is cheap to use
The only reason why I come back to watch these cinematic trailers is just to see Malgus.

@@alsimmonshellspawn6021 krayt and kun dont had that impact as those 3 did, they only appear in the novels or were mentioned in the games, plus those 3 were a real menace (i shouldve added velkoryon too tbh) the eternal empire was also very complete tho he was just a host to vitiates spirit, imo those 3 had more impact on the fanbase, specially Revan
I also think Darth Bane would be on that list too, considering his accomplishments for the Sith and his amazing characterization in his trilogy of books.
I love how fast paced these lightsaber battles are, just goes to show what they’d resemble in real life.
20+ minutes of SW awesomeness, this is so enjoyable and exciting.. get's me onboard. No Disney SW can compete with this.

I mean... Malgus slaughters her master in front of her and collapses a roof on top of her and she's still conflicted about whether she should join him?
The Jedi do a terrible job of showing the people they train *since childhood* to remain focused on the task at hand. It seems incredibly easy for them to question whether the Jedi are even the good guys and to switch sides as soon as they are shown one instance that might warrant an explanation (without actually allowing for said explanation).
Considering they're training children to fight against forces powered by darkest emotions, you'd think they'd do a little more mental health work in the 10+ years before they send them into the field...
Since they are taken so young they have the idea that these “new” good parents who my parents let me go with who are teaching me to have superpowers and be a protector blah blah they have no real reason to be interested in anything else except the one thing this good guys has been saying is bad bad since day one which are the sith and since run ins with them happen aggressively I don’t think it’s hard to stay focused on the “good Jedi” role but the sith just pull the right strings to get people thinking is my long answer.
Short answer Malgus slaughters his own guy to make a dramatic entrance lol I definitely wouldn’t want to join him
