The Brutal Life Of STARKILLER - Vader's Secret Apprentice

  • In the early months of the Galactic Empire’s rule, a formidable assault on the Wookie home world of Kashyyyk was carried out, led by Darth Vader. He had received intel from Imperial spies that the Wookies harboured a survivor of the Great Jedi Purge, named Kento Marek. After eliminating any resistance in his way, Vader located the Jedi and defeated him in combat, but sensed a far more powerful force nearby. Preparing to face Kento’s master, he instead found Kento’s young son Galen, who used the force to disarm the sith lord. Vader saw great potential in him, and defended him from Imperial troops, as he was taken as his secret apprentice, beginning a new chapter in his life as he embarked on a path filled with darkness. In time, all memories of his parents and his past-life faded. Under Vader's secretive training, Galen honed his Force abilities and combat skills, adopting the codename "Starkiller." His new purpose was to serve as an assassin for Vader, hunting down and eliminating Jedi survivors who had managed to evade the Great Jedi Purge. Starkiller's missions were carried out covertly, and his existence was kept hidden from the Emperor, as Vader plotted to use him in his own bid for power. The Rule of Two forbid the existence of more than two sith at one time, and as long as Vader served his master, Starkiller could not consider himself a true sith. He was desperate to prove himself to Vader, and believed his destiny was to help him overthrow Sidious and rule at his side. In his final trials, Galen was commanded to locate and eliminate 3 jedi masters, Rahm Kota, Kazdan Paratus and Shaak Ti. With the support of his pilot Juno Eclipse, and his training droid PROXY, he fulfilled his masters bidding. When Starkiller returned to Vader victorious, he came face to face with the Emperor; his spies having learnt of his existence. In a calculated move to prove his loyalty to Sidious, Vader quickly cuts down his apprentice and hurls him into space. However, Starkiller was secretly recovered and revived by Vader’s science vessel, the Empirical. Forced back into servitude, Vader gave Galen his most important mission yet; to foster a rebellion among the Empire's enemies. The goal was to divert the Emperor's attention and resources, providing Vader with an opportunity to overthrow him. Galen rescued Juno, who had been branded a traitor to the Empire following his supposed death. He assured her that he no longer had allegiance to the Empire, or Vader, and shared his plan to create a rebel army to oppose the Empire. He reunited with a blinded Rahm Kota, who had been reduced to alcoholism. He convinced him that he too was a Jedi, and together, they formed a bond of trust and embarked on a quest to gather allies for the rebellion. One key ally Starkiller sought was Bail Organa, a senator known for his resistance against the Empire. By rescuing Bail's daughter, Princess Leia Organa on Kashyyyk, and liberating enslaved Wookiees, Starkiller gained Bail's trust and convinced him to join the rebellion's cause. To further solidify the rebellion's presence, Starkiller led an assault on a Star Destroyer facility on Raxus Prime, even pulling an Imperial Star Destroyer out of orbit. This demonstration of the Empire's vulnerability served as a rallying cry for others seeking freedom from Imperial oppression. However, when Galen made contact with Vader to notify him of his success, Juno learned that Starkiller still served Vader, yet she chose to remain silent. As the rebellion gained momentum, a final move was made to draw out the Empire's enemies. On the planet Corellia, Bail Organa met with fellow senators Mon Mothma and Garm Bel Iblis to formally structure a rebellion, but their meeting was cut short by an assault from Darth Vader, and the senators arrested. The Dark Lord overpowered Starkiller, revealing his true intentions all along. Starkiller had been a pawn, a means to an end. He was simply a tool used to squash the rebellion before it had even started, and it was never in Vader’s interest to overthrow the Emperor with Galen at his side. Whilst Vader prepared to strike Galen as he desperately clung to the cliff, his loyal training droid PROXY attacked, in the form of Obi-Wan Kenobi. As Vader put down his attacker, Galen lost his grip on the cliff ledge and fell. He survived the fall, and when he regained consciousness, he was recovered by Juno. Finally free of his former masters clutches, Galen rejected his codename of Starkiller, and for the first time considered himself to be a Jedi. Galen entered deep meditation in an attempt to save the rebellion, by tracking down both Vader and the Senators. Despite managing to locate his targets on the unfinished Death Star, he was almost overwhelmed by the number of possible futures laid out before him.In a daring mission to rescue Jedi General Kota and the captive senators, Starkiller infiltrated the Death Star.

Of course he’s thought about it, and decided against it.
      Disney have decided to force feed us characters like Ahsoka & Starkiller because of one reason;
The reason is that when Disney are given full creative freedom - they give us episodes 7-9.

Rey to Kathleen Kenedy: Oh, man! My future has been drastically being delayed (a reference that her movie has being officially scrapped from the very beginning.) What are we gonna to do now?
At that moment both Galen Marek and Junno show up.
Galen: Well, I know just the answer!
Junno: Your job is completely done, my dear! It's your time to step down...
Galen: And allow the fans to have of what they always wanted: a Star Wars Trilogy featuring both us, Kota, Vader, Palpatine e.t.c. And believe me, Rey, if the fans had a literal lightsaber to their throats and they had to choose between the Rise of Skywalker and the second game, they would had *definitely* prefer the latter.
Junno: So! What do you have to say about that, kid? The choice is all yours!!
Rey: Well... To be fair... This is actually not a bad plan... And considering that Adam Driver... The best part of the sequels... Is not coming back... I guess we could give it a shot...
Galen and Junno smile. But at that moment Kathleen Force chocks Rey and she hits her with her lighting shouting her as "Traitor!" She then turns to both of them.
Kathleen: *No!!!* We are *not* going along with this plan!!! After all... *THE FORCE IS FEMALE!!!!*
Galen almost laughing: Allright, you female version of Sidious. Brace yourself! *Anakin!*
      Both Kathleen and Rey: *What?!*
At that moment Anakin from the Clone Wars shows up and he murders both of them.
Anakin to Rey: *That's for stealing my last name to make it yours, you bitch!!!*
After completing his mission he turns back into... *Proxy!!*
Galen: Proxy you did such an amazing job!

It’s so Disney it goes against everything.
For a start; Vader wasn’t anywhere near Kashyyk after order 66. He was on Mustafar, then Coruscant immediately after losing his legs. His powers weren’t wasted trotting around star systems killing Jedi. That’s what the imperial army was for.
Secondly; his first mission was to kill Shaak Ti…. Who was already dead. She was killed at the start of Episode 3 on the malevolence.
Palpatine was still in office & Galactic Emperor, he still attended senate & still met with foreign dignitaries. Vader spent most of his time with Tarkin, at the emperor’s command & both were equally responsible for the construction of the Death Star.
Vader probably wanted to hunt Yoda, and in turn Luke once he realised he existed. But he didn’t.
He certainly didn’t go taking on secret apprentices and defying the rule of two within minutes of turning. The rule has never been broken and the only time it’s ever been suggested of being broken is after Disney got hold of the story and went mental; same goes for Traya, Sion & Nihilus….. or Revan, Bastilla Shan & Malak.
Disney seem to think there’s a rule of three.
I get that they want to create more characters & grow the saga; but you can’t do that by shitting all over fundamental rules and breaking age old lore.
This is one of the main reasons that fans have become disillusioned with Star Wars.
The concept of characters like Asohka Tano & Starkiller are absolutely fantastic; but the way Disney have just brute forced & shoehorned them into the lore is ridiculous & offensive to fans.
You can’t have 6 movies depicting Darth Vader’s life from conception to death…..
And then just be like “oh btw we forgot to mention he had a jedi apprentice for many years and she fought in the clone wars with him”….well no she didn’t because we’ve seen the fucking movie entitled Star Wars Episode II, and she wasn’t in it.
The same goes for Starkiller, we’ve had episodes 1-6 & there’s no mention of Starkiller.
Basically what’s happened is that Disney bought Star Wars because it made shit loads of money. They then thought all they need to do is replicate the existing story & repeat it; just change a few of the characters & planet names but have basically the same story; people will buy it.
Then they released The Force Awakens; obviously it absolutely sucked but they were committed to two more movies as they were making a trilogy & the contracts were signed. Obviously the other two movies ended up being even worse because fans had already started to give up.
Then Disney have gone back to the drawing board and said “ok, we can’t create new stuff because the fans aren’t going to swallow it, so we’ll create random cool characters and we’ll just rewrite the original story and force the new characters in somehow”….
    -insert Ashoka & Starkiller-
This is why Disney is losing money hand over fist. The actual concepts of Ashoka & Starkiller as characters are brilliant, but forcing them into existing lore is beyond stupid, arrogant & detrimental.
It’s like they’ve put someone with a business degree and absolutely no knowledge of the product in charge of Star Wars and let them do whatever they want. It’s actually insane to think how badly they’ve fucked this franchise.
If Disney just hired one really big Star Wars need to make all their new projects - it would have worked.

Starkiller was just a rip off of Kyle Durron. Anakin was the chosen one. He was to bring balance to the force and the one even palpatine feared. Yet writers always love to play the “let’s create someone who is even more overpowered than our overpowered character.” So they wrote in the book Star Wars Dark Apprentice about a force sensitive that had god like abilities in the force. Then they took that idea and shoved it into the force unleashed, AND THEN gave him the name Starkiller… the surname Lucas was using for Luke in his original scripts before changing it to Skywalker. This entire character is a bastardization of other concepts.

Sort of. But at least him being OP makes sense in-universe. Dude was personally trained by Darth Vader for over a decade. Everything about his training was designed to push him past the limits of a normal Force user. He’s the literal definition of “What doesn’t kill you, only makes you stronger.”
