Whoever wrote these should be in charge of Star Wars movies, they’re so beautiful to look at and powerful to watch. Makes me wonder why there is such a disconnect between the movies that come out and what fans actually want. I could watch a whole movie about that Twi’ and her brother, becoming a sith or fighting that guy that battled her for the Holocron. Does anyone know when these games are coming to consoles?

Potentially the greatest Star Wars movie that could ever be made, just sitting around in small cinematics. Malgus is the perfect antagonist. The best fight scenes ever. Why not just make a movie using the CGI from this development house?

I always thought that, putting humans in the parts of these larger then life characters is a folly, like the head Inquisitor in Obi Wan looks like such a let down, though I think Obi Wan might turn out great but the real Star Wars is depicted in CGI like this in it's most potent form, totally unhinged, I love that.

I think out of all these character I feel for the Jedi mother the most. The pain in her eyes, you could see her thoughts and emotions in her face throughout the whole cinematic

As for using either side, wouldn't that then make all of them Greys? As Sith use the Dark Side and the Jedi use the Light, but the Greys use both sides.

What all star wars fans want more and can't get enough of. Bad ass balls to the walls lightsaber duels with fresh fleshed out characters that are immediately relatable. How is it so difficult for the main storyline to even vaguely grasp these concepts? Pretty simple stuff.

@@Thisguy2532 You can do 'woke' and still make an excellent show/movie. You just need good writing and acting - something the sequels lacked entirely. The sequels would have sucked even without 'wokeness' - woke shit and normal shit are both just shit. The problem is that the marketing guys are basically writing these shows by just ticking boxes off their checklist.

@Kristopher Prime Not the fault of "wokeness" though is it? A fault of hack writers and industry practices. It's like Blizzard using an algorithm to design Overwatch characters. Soulless pandering and it comes across as such. "Woke" shit absolutely can work if you do it well (Sense8), they usually just don't it well. And it shouldn't be inserted in absolutely everything without thought. But I guess it's also a fault of the medium. Movies just don't have enough runtime to develop interesting and fleshed out characters like books or even TV shows can.
I'd argue that the 9/10 woke things that are crap would be crap even without the woke parts.
I watched this for the first time and already fell in love with the characters in 3 minutes over the new characters over 3 movies….
Amazing work on these cinematics. The pacing, visual storytelling, doing more with less-it's all so well made. Somehow they've managed to pack a complete story with emotional stakes, awesome visuals, and resonant themes into these segments that are less than 10 minutes!
All that's required is a half decent fucking storyteller.
From there everything else falls into place.
The sequels lack this unfortunately.
Im sorry but the story in BF2 is one of the stupidest things ever committed to paper right next to the new new trilogy.

I would gladly, enthusiastically pay out the nose for more cinematic content like this. THIS feels like star wars. THIS is what the fans have been so desperately wishing for. I haven’t watched a live action star wars movie in years, never even finished the new trilogy. I could happily watch hours and hours of this, without question.

The voice acting in this is incredible. Her last words - one hour and (32:30) moved me to tears.

legit cried when Iden Versio died. so many scenes give me that spine tingle and hair stand up due to emotion they are able to capture and display. The new films did not make me feel that when I watched them apart from when Han died.

everyone comparing the sequel trilogy to these videos needs to realize that in one way or another, the same people greenlighting the sequel trilogy also had final approval of most of these cinematic trailers, especially the BF2 story.

I know she knows that several battles involving Trade Fedderation Droids/Separatists happened there, however.... I wonder if she really knows just who's home planet she's on. Maybe Luke would be able to sense it if he went there. Having just said that about Luke, I wonder if during this time Leia is going through Jedi training? Or is she too busy raising Ben with Han. Sorry. Do not know how long after the Battle of Endir that scene takes place.
The more I think about the Jedi and Sith, the more I feel the force must have wanted something. It feels like it wanted balance from the individual, not the individual traveling the galaxy to balance the lives of others.

This is likely the single most poignant statement I've ever seen, read, or heard regarding the entire Star Wars universe. It sorta ties in with the Living Force, not the stupid "Light Side/Dark Side" crap. And it is why Asajj Ventress and Ahsoka Tano remain so relevant in storytelling. Almost everybody else is just... Flat. One sided. Boring.

Great job, I really enjoyed the way story moved along and the action scenes.
this is the kind of story I wanted to see with the Attack of the Clones movie that showed Annakin and Obi Wan fighting with the enemy LUCAS MISSED THE MARK THERE, that's when both Christensen and McGregor were young enough and could have showed SO much more. I think this is exactly WHY all the fan base was so critical. Annakin is the central figure and having so little "fight time" on screen along with Obi Wan was just too abrupt the way Lucas did the story and the films did NOT HAVE THE "BITE" EVERYONE WANTED. we STILL want to see Annakin/Darth, he's just such an important character!

I have to admit that the Jedi intelligence was almost useless. If the Dark side is weaker than the force, then most battles seem to go the Dark side way bar "rebels". They can build more ships in secret, hide more troops and deploy more weapons. The Jedi seem powerless
