For those who don't know, a Sazerac is absinthe, whiskey, sugar, and bitters. Well, I've come across whiskey OR cognac but the absinthe wouldn't be the part getting replaced by Malört so it doesn't matter which recipe you use...

Hey bud. Ever had a Prairie Fire? Name changes depending on which liquor you use. Mexican/Texas has tequila, Caribbean would be rum, Crown or something would be Canadian.
    Chicago would be….Malort?
Beyond that the recipe is simple. A shot of liquor with a good dose of Tabasco in it. I like a little fresh ground black pepper on top.
Might be fun to see how hot a sauce you’d need to mask the malort.

2:10 looking like a Bloody Mary, you say? I think it's time for a Bloody Malört next.

Malort Vesper. But you don’t get off easy by having the Malort be the Lillet component. Nope. Malort replaces the gin. So 3 parts Malort (insert evil laugh here), 1 part vodka & 1/2 part Lillet.
