I was so upset about Barney and Robin's divorce. I was even more upset when Ted and Robin got back together AGAIN even though they never worked, and as the video said, they weren't right for each other. In my opinion, they just completely ruined the finale with those decisions, changing it from "How I Met Your Mother" to "How I settled for your mother because I couldn't make it work with the girl I actually wanted".
That was seriously the WORST series finale ever IMO. I like to pretend it ended with Ted meeting the mom and Barney and Robin happily married

together even though they didn’t work when they were together.
I didn't mind Ted and Robin ending up together, I just wished the show didn't push Robin and Barney so hard. Throughout the last seasons it was made very clear that Barney and Robin were soulmates and Ted even admitted he didn't want to be with Robin anymore.
I preferred Ted and Robin over Barney/Robin until season 9. When every episode was about how much Robin and Barney love eachother. Then suddenly one episode later they divorce and we are meant to believe that Ted and Robin were right for eachother.
Bonnie and Enzo!! Bonnie deserves to be happy. Her life, on The Vampire Diaries, was terrible.
Couldn’t agree more. Out of every character on the show she deserved it the most. With always being the one that was having to save everyone else and make sure they got their happily ever after and yet in the end the writers couldn’t give her her happily ever after with Enzo and take that away from her and the fans the same way they did with Klaus and Caroline even though they knew how much the fans wanted them to end up together and stuck around watching because they keep hinting and giving us hope that yes this is it they are finally going to end up together but due to them wanting to have a specific ending they came up with for TVD at the beginning of the series and having changed it because of the changes they made for the Delena ship due to the fact that the storyline changed so much due to Nina leaving, so it wouldn’t work and also make the fans happy they in the end used it for the originals ending and made sure that the fans couldn’t get their Klaroline endgame instead and now they are still trying to use the fanbase of Klaroline to throw out bits of hope and hints that maybe there will be a chance that in the future in legacies Klaroline will end up together in order to get the fans to watch the show still. Sorry but I am so done with them and for how they treated us fans.

The show ended up not following the books at all, which was disappointing. Stefan and Elena should have ended up together too, but they series messed up a lot of stuff for the sake of shock value. The series didn't need that.
Technically they were end game... it didn’t show Bonnie being with anyone else after he died 🤷🏽♀️
I’m so glad that I’m not the only one who thinks Jackie and Hyde should have ended up together. They are the characters that showed the most change and it would have been so believable that they both mature and find a way to work it out and run the record store together. It was such a missed opportunity

Jackie and Hyde were the best couple in that series . It wasnt comedic nor sex sex sex all the time . They love and threw shade at each other
Jackie and Hyde is one of the most perfect parings, they started as enemies, then friends, then lovers. They were so well written, they made each other better people.

I will never understand the Dan and Serena thing. Her finding out he is the person that has been torturing her and her friends for years, and in the end giving him what he wanted was so stupid. Nate was the perfect ending for her, he was always there and cared more than most, not to mention they made it seemed like Dan still loved Blair until like the final 2 episodes.

Nate loves her when she’s with other guys, didn’t listen, didnt believe her when Juliet drugged her, slut shamed her, stopped talking to her and cheated in her best friend with her. Also he didn’t really her her & wasn’t as smart as she & dan were. Lol “tortured” is a strong word considering Serena herself sent in tips & even acted as gossip girl too at one point. Nate is a pretty face you all keep giving WAAAAYY too much credit too

Clark was never going to end up with Lana. However, that relationship was dragged on for much longer than it should have and the way it ended was so wrong. I hated the way it made it seem like Clark was only with Lois because he couldn’t be with Lana.

In my mind Shawn and Angela got married in 2006 and now have 3 beautiful children: Ethan Chet, 13; Noah Alvin, 11 & Serena Rose, 9. Angela runs a small chain of upscale grocery stores (a la Whole Foods) and Shawn is an accomplished novelist and independent online journalist for his own website. They live in a diverse upper-middle class neighborhood in New York. 😀

I didn't watch the last season of 70's show but I remember that Fez and Jackie would make good couple. Especially during some of first seasons. Though I liked Jackie and Hyde as couple I thought that their relationship was killed after Hyde married stripper (?) in Vegas. Jackie deserved more then another flaky boyfriend.

It’s not on this list but Mark and Lexie from greys anatomy where endgame. They should have been together before they died. I’ve never seen a love story like it in any television show since then. I know their relationship wasn’t perfect but you could just tell how deeply they loved each other.

And yet she had the audacity to blame him for everything and accuse him of ruining HER life.

Cole and Phoebe were definitely good together but no...Cole did her dirty towards the end of his arc, yeah sure she could've been more trusting of his motives but...he lied to her about becoming the source, he tried to kill her sister's (well I think only Paige but SHE was a bitch to him and she found out his secret) , he turned her evil then got her pregnant with his evil baby (before she got pregnant the seer told him he'll have a powerful child, so he did it on purpose). Then had the nerve to get mad when she rejected him because he's literally the source of all evil.
I get he had no control over becoming the source, yet she never left him eventhough he lied to her for a while before he was found out and he didn't even tell her the truth himself...she didn't blame him for nothing until after he came back and started stalking her and actively trying to ruin her life...

1-HIMYM so ruined the ending of that show by breaking up Barnie & Robin that I have to basically ignore the canon ending and end the show myself prior to that crap added on right before the “true ending”. Even the kids in like season 2 or something say dialogue along the lines of are you trying to say Aunt Robin is our mother?! Like for real?! 2- Phoebe & Cole will forever be my fav couple from Charmed. They worked well together and their chemistry was off the charts. 3- I would care more about Andy & Erins relationship except for the fact that the writers screwed them up so royally I didn’t want them back together by the time that that could happen. 4- Rory & Jess were wondrous together so, in a soap opera move, they were torn apart. No couple is ever allowed to stay happy. Finally, 5- I wasn’t pleased with the breakup of Boyd Crowder & Ava on Justified. Their characters were quite well written and the could have easily run off together with a child. Ava never showed signs of caring about getting pregnant w Boyd’s baby & then running away from the criminal life. She threw herself wholeheartedly into Boyd’s activities, and did not shy away from the more sinister parts of the enterprise. I (personally) don’t believe that that was handled properly by the writers bc I don’t believed it followed the arc of her character. But I’m just throwing that one in there.
Indeed, I also feel that Justin and Brian could have made things work out at the end of QAF. It didn’t have to occur in Philadelphia. They could have both moved to Manhattan. They didn’t have to get married. But they could have been in (what for them) was a more monogamous relationship. They didn’t need to break up. I generally find it necessary to change the canon ending of that show as well. For my own happiness. [I never watched iCarly or Boy Meets Girl, etc, so I figured throwing in some of my own shows was okay.) 😊🙃🥰

@@tiffprendergast What? Lois Lane is the woman who Clark Kent meets and falls in love with in the movies, in the tv shows, and in the comic books. Lois Lane didn’t even have to be in the tv show and she’s still the woman who ends up with him. Smallville writers made the mistake of dragging that Clana relationship on for way too long. I have watched a lot of movies and shows about Superman but Smallville is the only one where Lana is written as such a serious, long standing relationship between Clark and Lana instead of simply his first crush or love which ended then he moved on with his life including falling in love with and marrying Lois Lane. Clana was badly handled by Smallville.

Even if you don’t like Jeff/Annie (I do like them personally) it’s pretty clear that anything between Jeff/Britta beyond friendship is toxic and bad for them.
Exactly! Both characters are known to have relationship issues, and their friendship as two hot but broken people was heartwarming to watch. It made much more sense to NOT make them a couple. And it was refreshing to watch a show that didn't build itself on a tired would-they won't they trope.

Maybe Tori and Andre but Cat and Robbie… There are some uncomfortable implications about the way he plays pirates.
I loved the Buffy and Spike romance, and if there had never been an Angel, I would have agreed that Buffy and Spike should have ended up together. But watch the relationship between Buffy and Angel (especially the episode on Angel where he starts to become human and goes to TPTB to give up his humanity so he can continue to "save the world") and there is no doubt that they (Buffy and Angel) should have been together forever. I had never cried over a TV show before, but that episode and Buffy saying over and over again that she "will never forget" had me bawling like a baby.
THIS!!! I don’t hate Buffy and Spike, but I think it’s clear that if there was EVER a chance to have a normal life with Angel she would take it in a heart beat! Even in S7 she has a monologue about her loving Angel more than anything in this world & when he came back in the last episode she had her whole “what if” and “in the future” speech 🥲

Jackie & Hyde, Robin & Barney, Caroline & Klaus, Spike & Buffy= my all time favourite couples and none of them ended up together 🤦🏼♀️😩

For me the top couples that should have ended up together and become endgame were Klaus and Caroline in The Vampire Dairies along with Bonnie and Enzo and just due to their deaths they were kept apart because the writers were stuck on keeping to fulfilling a storyline they decided on at the beginning of the series instead of being true to the characters and their fans. That’s why thank god for fanfics where the fans could make them endgame for ourselves. These two for me are the ones I’m the most upset over and will never get over the fact that the writers of the show didn’t care about what the fans wanted to happen for the characters or even worst to have one character that never have a chance at happiness be given that chance in Bonnie who was always the one having to save everyone else to make sure they had their happily ever after.
Then Angel and Buffy from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. This was truly my first unrequited couple from tv that I had to watch not get their endgame.
Then there is Jess and Rory from the Gilmore girls who also should have ended up together and with the reboot the writers had the chance to do so but still didn’t once again.
Also from CSI Miami there was Horatio and Marisol and Eric and Calleigh...those two hurt one from a death and another when they should be together but just aren’t.
Lastly for me even though not a tv couple is Draco and Hermione from Harry Potter. They are my ultimate endgame couple and truly thank god for fanfics for because there I have found my true endings for the Harry Potter series instead.
Gotta say I wanted Annie and Jeff to get together they had much better chemistry

Clark and Lana, really!? Their relationship was so bad and dragged out for way to long.
I disagree with Serena & Nate. They would make a hot couple superficially but had zero chemistry internally. It was right that they made her end up with Dan - more chemistry and depth.

It sucks that Klaroline didn't make the cut - they are my favorite couple out of the TVD-U, however, I'm kinda looking forward to seeing what's gonna happen between Hope and Josie because they're paralleling them a lot among other tvd-u couples

Even though Dylan is a good person, boyfriend, and husband to end the series with, Andy will always have a special place in Haley’s heart.
Might be an unpopular opinion, but I'm actually glad Shawn and Angela broke up. They had a rich, full arc, and genuine reasons for breaking up. I like that the series shows how not all high school sweethearts end up together. Plus, in Girl Meets World, we get to see that they did each get their own happy endings and remained friendly.

For me, it was always Buffy/Angel and Sam and Freddie. Jackie and Hyde would have ended up together if the original writers didn't got fired. Their plan was to have Jackie and Hyde end up being engaged by the final season. The new writers hated Hyde and Jackie, and they also hated Jackie's character in general.
I’m still so bitter about jackie and hyde.

Jeff never ended up with Britta because Britta got crazier and wackier as the show went on, and the coupling just seemed weird after that. Annie was crazy and wacky too, but she was crazy and wacky from day one. The Britta Jeff wanted in season 1 didn't really exist by the end of the show. Jeff himself went through character development and grew as a person, but Britta kind of. . .devolved.
I still prefer Jeff and Britta at the end. I never understood the love people had for Jeff and Annie. I find that pairing was so boring.
You forgot Clark and Bellamy from The 100. Also I think Klaus and Cami should’ve ended up together. I liked Caroline with Stefan
No real strong feelings for Stefan and Caroline either way however I love them separately as characters.
And I agree with everything else you said, particularly about Klaus and Cami who I felt had a much deeper and emotional connection to one another than Caroline and Klaus although they did try to make it something more when Caroline appeared in the final series of TO.
Kate and Sawyer? No way. I mean, yeah they had some chemistry, but they weren't really good for each other. Jack and Kate though, and Sawyer and Juliet, they were good for each other and made each other better people.
Buffy And Angel are An Amazing Couple.
