I know it's an animated show, but Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable definitely made my list, they made us wait 2 long seasons AND at least 2 movies before they kissed for the first time.

Shawn & Jules from Psych should have been on here! Psych deserves more love. It’s a freaking awesome show that was so well done and anyone who hasn’t seen it, is missing out.

The Mentalist was a great show, but , though it was inevitable, I never liked the romantic pairing of Jane and Lisbon. They were great as friends, but not as a couple. Other than that kiss, they had no romantic chemistry, barely even touching each other until their wedding. I think they only got together because Bruno Keller had to go somewhere else with the show once Red John was gone.
I was leaping with joy seeing Gilbert and Anne finally kissed

You can't forget the iconic duo of Tim Bradford and Lucy Chen from "The Rookie"! Known affectionately as Chenford, their journey is one for the books. Despite not sharing their first kiss until the finale of season 4 as a practice for an undercover operation, their first real kiss happens only in season 5, episode 10. It's remarkable how their relationship evolved, considering they weren't originally meant to be a couple. When the show started, Tim was married to a drug addict, and Lucy was dating a fellow rookie who was old enough to be her dad. Tim, once a grumpy and troubled training officer with a painful past, found solace in Lucy's sunshine-like presence. Meanwhile, Lucy, with her youthful optimism, brought light into Tim's dark world. Initially, at odds, their dynamic shifted as they became close friends, always supporting each other through thick and thin. Lucy's care and understanding healed Tim in ways he never imagined, while Tim's unwavering protection for Lucy was proven when he saved her from being buried alive after he found her ring in the middle of a desert. He not only dug her out with his bare hands but also brought her back to life by performing CPR on her. They have been with each other through thick and thin; they dated others in the meantime, but finally, in season 5, these two idiots got together.

I was coming to say the exact same thing! Their chemistry is perfect, and you could just tell from the start that their bickering/banter had so much fire behind it. I think my favourite moment was the look on Tim's face in the hallway after that first "fake" kiss.

How is ALIAS not on this list? It will never be topped for me. Sydney and Vaughn taking down SD6, finally getting together and you think everyone is going to be happy, episode over...and then we get that twist. Phase One is a perfect TV episode

All the "partners with unresolved sexual tension" on this list were directly inspired by X Files. It shaped a whole generation of TV.
Moonlighting and others predate X files. Even "Who's the Boss" did it. Slow burn, or "will they or won't they" has existed for a long time.

Yes! Clark and Lois were PERFECT for one another. It drove me crazy how they kept having Clark pine after his high school crush when the woman of his dreams was right there by his side!
Damon & Elena from TVD was great. And the one u showed was technically their 1st real kiss, but I think of the motel kiss in S3 as their 1st kiss b/c Elena was finally really kissing him back. That kiss was explosive!!!

The first Chuck and Sarah kiss should have been included. Although it happens in season 1 it is still well earned as Sarah, thinking she is going to die, breaks through her emotional walls and kisses Chuck finaly realizing her feelings for him.
Finally!!! A list with Bones in it!!! Funny that I've only series on this list I've watched is Bones and NCIS (I'm currently watching TBBT, but I'm not finished yet)! Charmed should have been on this list too! Piper and Leo had a romance for the ages!!!
Glad The Mentalist made this list. I remember crying when I saw that episode. Also loved the Jamie/Brianne affair from GOT. She brought out the best in him - if only briefly.

I would’ve included Willow and Tara’s kiss from Buffy on this list at least as an honorable mention but two others that I loved that seemed to take forever to get to since they didn’t happen until their respective series finales would be Alexander and Mina from the 2016 Dracula tv series, and Mick and Beth from Moonlight because both of those kiss scenes were amazing.
I remember back in the '90s, I think it was in an interview (or several) that Chris Carter had been ADAMANT that Mulder and Scully would NEVER be romantically involved. It's one of the things I remember as a kid watching the show, being very disappointed hearing about it, and then getting the pee scared out of me by the monster of the week. lol

Buffy and Spike did kiss in Season 5! Not including magic-induced kisses in Something Blue, Buffy faked being the Buffy Bot in Intervention and kissed Spike after he protected Dawn!
Whitley and Dwayne should be #1 . By far the best romantic story arc of any couple. went from frenemies to friends to good friends to lovers to engaged to broken up to married - and it was all organic and unforced.
And "A Different World" still holds up today - and quality wise its far better than any other show on this list.
