I made the jump to GX AXS on my current build and love it so far. Setup was super easy. One thing I would suggest though is to get some blue loc-tite and coat the tension screw with it. Initially I didn't and the factory coating didn't go far enough on the threads so it backed out after a few rides which luckily wasn't a fatal error but it could have been pretty easily. Congrats on the upgrades.
@ericsadler4794 no I am a mechanic tried both the derailleur clutch is better more quite on shimano but new xx stuff looks awesome not a battery fan but may try soon
Man, a 3000.00 hardtail turned into a 6000.00 hardtail! Looks sweet though! The Roscoe 9 is great as it is right out of the box but you took it to a whole different level! I don’t get wireless but hey, why not!! Seems to shift very quick and precise. I really like the idea of direct mount. Due away with hangers!
@@DB-sd3cwlol! I live in Canada where everything is 500.00 more! Lol!! Then to make it worse, I live in Ontario so you can add 13% tax to that 3000.00………….👎
Why did you change the rear tire from a 2.6 down to a 2.4? Most hardtail riders want a wider tire in the rear since there isn't any rear suspension. I have the same bike, and I kept the rear a 2.6.
Hola, la rueda trasera la cambiaste a 27.5”?

Thanks for the heads up
Welcome to sram. Shimano hasn’t bothered to update in a long time. Sick Roscoe! Trek should At least send you a free shirt or something.
Love rockshox but shimano drive train still my favorite quite and bomb proof
That's probably because you haven't tried SRAM AXS. Shimano is inferior compared to SRAM AXS.

@@dirtyforksmtb you must rise up and overthrow the Trudeau dictatorship
@@DB-sd3cwman, I wish! But there are no good alternatives either:(. No matter what, we’re screwed!
I live in the United States and when I bought my Roscoe, it was 2800 not including tax walked away with $3015 but they’re on sale now
Personally not a fan of AXS stuff, but sweet build
Oh, that makes sense now.
😍🤩 love the upgrades 🤙🏾💯 How does it ride
A video on that will be coming out
Just bought a R9 and your videos have been gold! How tall are you? Dis you get M/L?
My guess is 5’7” -5’9”🤷🏽♂️
I am 5’9 and my bike is M/L appreciate you taking the time to watch my videos

Because double down only comes in 2.4 and down
Whoops, my mistake. I just saw your other video about it being a 7000.00 build😮. So maybe more like a 9000.00 R9 now??? 😱😱
Give or take lol I got one more video coming out on the R9 that I’m actually working on right now. Hopefully be out in a couple days.
