The placement of cheese on the wheel happens immediately upon rolling cheese by the minion and before the attack is even resolved, so when the kill triggers Filch’s ability the surge has happened and the cheese is cleared from the wheel.
@@plothos8380 Then Filch shouldn't have gained cheese at all? Or it just comes from the stash since there is none on the wheel? Thanks for such thorough playthroughs!

Give Order is not an action, it's done instead of movement. Collin could have searched a few times =)
what program are you using? I must have it.
I don't know if you address this further on but I do believe vurst doesn't count for filsh's ability if you check page 16 of rulebook.

Filch takes cheese from rats FROM THE WHEEL. If you just surged, does he not get cheese, or did the surge not need to happen?
