If Henry gets Jon Jones and Conor in his camp they’ll be the Anti-AKA
Yee right lmao
Legion of Doom
Bro if jones and conor party together someone is going to die😂
@@crazygamer1566 Conor will get run over by Jones but won’t get up this time
@@crazygamer1566 on goddddd that would be a crazy combo to get lit with lmfaoooo 🔥😈
Looking forward to this, so frustrating seeing Conor have so much potential left in his career - would love to see him rip in again
I agree. He’s so good, but I really think he needs to have a different team and approach to his training.
@@booka6447 but he’s not tho. He fooled the world with his mouth. He was always a average MMA , below average boxer. 2 belts zero defenses. People don’t know the difference between a good fighter and a popular one.
@@lewisjaygomes1617 And you are an idiot, he defeated Dustin, Max Holloway, Aldo, Eddie when he was in his prime, is the only guy to win a round off khabib and actually defended his takedowns pretty good for first 3 rounds while having no grappling background. If you think he is not a good fight then you are just an idiot.
@@lewisjaygomes1617 Sees beyond the bs. He would get wins because his opponents were emotional. Refs also let him get away with things other fighters don't.
@@lewisjaygomes1617 brother that’s why! He changed the game single handed. I understand what you’re saying and your perspective tho. But do you not think with a proper team and discipline he wouldn’t be able to secure another title? Everyone can improve if they really want it. Look at oliviera, different games yes but concept of comebacks is what I’m talking about. I’m not saying he’s p4p but he’s good, just hasn’t had the right training, focus or dedication to mma after the mayweather fight
From relaxed and leaned back, to tight and holding his body infront of his hips. Damn shame it seems he lost this fluidity, great breakdowns on combos!
He started that to save energy and stop takedowns better at 155 and 170 by being flat footed and those are division's that the fights most likely goes for 5 rounds.
nate whooped his ass so bad he changed styles
Theres advantages and disadvantages to both styles. He hits harder in the boxing stance, its crisper and he is sitting down on shots better, but its also more flat rooted etc
I think the main issue is when he stopped kicking and probably lost some leg conditioning to go with it. He probably needed to train his legs more so that when he starts getting tired he can continue to be explosive
You’re all lost. Conor’s mistake was hearing Holloway say “I’m the best boxer in the ufc” when he fought Kattar.
Conor wanted to go out and beat DP with JUST boxing - bc he had beaten DP and Max so badly, he assumed he could go out and do it again with just hands. All to say post fight that HE was the best boxer in the ufc. He was wrong. Conor’s hands are most effective when his kicks are involved.
His fight with Eddie was monumental. He was relaxed, fluid, anticipated the shots, stuffed the take downs. Now he has the antzy fear we all have when we get into that bar fight. Strong hits, energy depletion. Conor needs to draw back into the old warrior, relax and determined whatever the outcome. 👍
Smoke some herb Connor
@Jacob Mendoza Tell Jon that
That extra boxing training and less muay-thai/karate style training fucked him up. He used to habe world class hands but his stamce amd setup were differemt than regular boxers and MMA style boxers. Also hes not training as hard and people caught up to him a long time ago.
What fear?
Yeah, because Eddie would need 5 inch pole to touch McGregor to small
One of Henry's last comments was the cherry on top, "you've actually become more emotional now", as a big Conor fan, it's so true. When Conor fought he used to be stoic and it showed in his demeanour when he entered the cage, there was no emotion, just pure un-matched focus. He fights now like he's trying too hard to prove to everyone else that he's still that guy instead of going in there and just doing his thing, that pressure on your shoulders will literally make you stiff and slow. He needs to free his mind, set clear goals again and get back in the game, or out, there's no inbetween.
Doesnt make sense. He didnt look emotional vs cowboy or poirier, after breaking his leg offcourse but thats somewhat different right 🤣
He has so much money that he cant even make in ufc in next 5 years he may only focus on business,
He just shouldn't come back.
@@Matt10264 I don’t get what point you’re trying to make especially because nobodies arguing it except for the fact I think Conor looked very different in his last 3 fights compared to his usual self to say he wasn’t is honestly wild dude was different 10 years ago mentally 100%
The old Conor won by doing what he needed to win, not by rushing for a knockout. He'd look to cause damage from *every* method; kicks, knees, elbows, and punches. Current Conor just plods forwards and over-commits with every punch and wildly misses by chasing a KO.
In my opinion, his fight against Eddie is the best single performance ever in UFC for a belt. So confident, relaxed, fast fighting for the very first double champ. Amazing, is art.
Jones vs Rua entered the chat
An absolute flawless performance from start to finish, must have watched it at least 20 times. But its still Jones vs Shogun for me, just the age difference, the mythic status of Shogun and the way Jones manhandled him is on another level. He just beat him up baadly in EVERY aspect of the game and made Shogun, the defending champion (!!) tap to strikes in the end, which is often overlooked but so insane to me
@revanth butty could be!
That 4 hit combo KO is just *chef kiss*
@@DrChainsawHandz that first knockdown is almost as impressive, he was on another level that night
Cejudo basically said it. He gave Conor a B+ during his title reign but now he gave him a D. It basically came down to Conor leaving the sport and not adapting when he came back from boxing. He fell to far behind and now everyone caught up. He is like that smart kid in middle school that slack off then when high school came he realized everyone is now smarter then him. He needs a lot of catching up to do
He didn't have a title reign. He never defended a belt and was stripped of fw belt before Alvarez fight.
Money and fame got to conor, mma moved on. He'll never be the same fighter again even if his leg didn't break
Henry is genuinely one of the best minds in the sports.
His in depth breakdowns, his coaching style and how he transformed his own style to become double champ.

@@HenryCejudoTripleC your a legend.

Your fight breakdowns are second to none, look forward to the next one.
I didn’t think this was really in depth at all. Like he kinda just said what any casual observer already knew. Just said like ‘yeah he covered distance’ ‘yeah he needs wrestling’.
While I equally respcet him, let's give credit where it's due. This type of breakdown is almost comically basic and generic. I advise you to check Dan Hardy's war room in order to see some actual breakdowns.
That shot Connor hit Dustin with seemed to barely make contact, and Dustin dropped? That seems sketchy, even after watching multiple times from multiple angles, seems very sus, not flush.
He needs to focus solely on fighting and get better training partners, Nate even said that in press conferences in the first fight
So what’s that say about Nate? Considering he lost the second fight against a smaller guy 😂 Nate’s not trash bro he took Leon to a decision. Not a close decision but still a decision.
Needs to stop thinking he is an elite boxer. His best was when he fought in his old style.
@@187btokes he is an elite boxer lol, the reason why Dustin won was because Conor came to the fight with a boxing stance and approach where Dustin came for mma. Conor was piecing him on the feet. Dustin had to takeaway conors leg to succeed with his boxing
@@waynefleming617 no he is not an elite boxer. Not even slightly. He has great striking fundamentals FROM A KARATE STANCE because karate is his base. There is a reason why his losses came from his boxing first approaches and he was so untouchable BEFORE the Mayweather match.
@@waynefleming617 there is a reason why on the Mayweather fight he immediately showed how amateur his boxing was. I'm not talking about him losing to Floyd OBVIOUSLY that was going to happen; Floyd is one of the best boxers in all of boxing history. During the fight, he immediately was doing weird shit like hammer fists, not handling clinch right, all sorta shit he looked like a total begginer at just pure boxing, which he was. To call him an elite boxer is objectively not true.
Can't lie, this is exactly what Conor needs to do. I also love how you know that he will never train with you, and you're still over here giving him a free lesson and you aren't even shitting on him. #respect bro. I'd do anything to train even for one weekend with you!
He called Connor the two division chump lol you think he's going to train with him
@@gorillachronicles Henrys always been a cool dude and a fan of Conor that was just banter

@@kakarot8450 He still hoping that Conor will fight him. Good marketing!
5:05 was WILD! I’ve never noticed that he didn’t so much as flinch or break eye contact while he got tagged. He was 100% focused on popping Alvarez.
No way Conor get back to 145 or 155. That división is history for him. Now he's big and powerfull, so it doesnt make sense to go back to that weight. 170 is perfect for Mcgregor, its better for his New style, its also more confortable so he doesnt have strugle cutting weight
@@Spiritualtalks4769 Bro that puts him in the same division as Kevin Holland and Khamzat. Sizewise I just don't think he can compete with those giants.
@@christopherdube6965 Tyron Woodley was champ and he was 5’9. I think it’s just down to Mcgregors style and how he will approach it
@@Spiritualtalks4769 too much energy expended at that weight
@@christopherdube6965 Maybe they are too high for Mcgregor but I cannot see Mcgregor making the effort to cut weight while his showering with money every day living a luxury life
So cool to get a technical breakdown and related thoughts from the Triple C, please keep them coming!
If you want to bring the old Conor back, their is only one way - Take all his money
Take all his money, get him off the booze & the booger sugar, & send him to a gym in a working class neighborhood. Get him back off the drugs, focused, & in touch with his roots. 2014 Conor would have hated the current version of himself.
No you gotta send him to featherweight where he can overpower smaller opponents or depopulate lightweight division from all the actual beasts.
@@outlander234 Thank you! I finally found someone that is smart in these comments. People always say money changed him but the the Conor that was running through people did most of his damage at featherweight. That same conor is never beating Khabib or 55 dustin. Conor has been the same fighter for a decade but the thing is he finally started to get exposed. No more feeding this guy favorable matchups like Eddie
@@nyteowl8069 y’all out here acting like all these other fighters aren’t cutting a ridiculous amount of weight to fight in a smaller division 🤣. Look at pereira, khabib, Islam, volk, Aljo. Everyone does it but because Conor became so famous people have to find a way to discredit him. Just face it. You’re a fan. I’m a fan. We are all fans of his and he brought a lot of people to mma. When he was on his rise it was incredible to watch.
@@bry0391 Well ya but the video is about Conor. I love watching him fight but the reality is alot of his success came at 45. I dont think hes washed...I think hes fighting at his best physical form but we are starting to see where he REALLY fits at lightweight. A division full of sharks.
Love the vid my man. I’ve always wondered how Conor’s career would have panned out if he never boxed Floyd and remained TRULY focused. Guess that’s just life for ya 🤷♂️
I hear ya, when I heard Mick Conlan say to him, “I don’t why he’d want to go in there” take the risks that combat sports forces you to take after grabbing two belts, making a couple hundred million off the Floyd match
and Conor expressed similar feelings, having a family and being wealthy enough to pack it in and try to enjoy life but with more money more problems. I mean not many guys that rose that fast , accumulate that much money would go back and attempt to fight.
Very few people in the entire world knows the inner battles that guy go’s through. Pretty unique
That Floyd fight definitely changed the game but also completely took away so many more combat sports moments from the fans. The cost of fame
@@poppad1187 love this response bro! Well said!
panned out perfectly against Cowboy... but all the Conor haters never mention that for some reason...
Still on coke and beating elders.
@@Killacam1992 that was a great fight dude. He went like what, 15/15 on sig strikes I think 🤔 that head kick too was slickkkk

Conor last win over bum cowboy
While I do believe PRIME Conor is gone, I will always find his fights fun to watch. Feed us some superfights!
I do not agreed with Cejudo when he recomended Conor to come back to 155 or 145. That sounds ridiculos and stupid at this moment for Mcgregor. Now conor is big, powerful, not so active on the gym, so he rather go up to 77kg. It seems to me that middle weight división is accurate and confortable for Conor at this stage of his career
@Sport gamer middleweight? People like Alex pereira are like another species no way he can compete with anyone in that weight class
100%. Still very very dangerous

Triple C? You should use that Irish Plug as a tune up fight for your first fight back to MMA. Because Conor McNuggets is Done! He is not and will not ever be the same fighter he used to be because his chin is gone along with his confidence and lag! And that's why he just talks shit on social media and beats up on women these days because Conor knows his best days is behind him and when he comes back to the octagon he is just going to stack up more- L'$...
Once a champion, always a champion. Can't write off that mentality. It's some where deep inside him, but not sure if he can find it again with his current habits and life style
@Hans Gruber its not just about landing a shot though, its about the ability to evade them and to be able to absorb them. Conor has been up to WW before and his striking was not as effective even though he was landing. Granted he is bigger now but how has that effected his cardio since his cardio wasn’t the best at LW? He also does not make the best decisions for his skillset! Example he landed a knee on Khabib which put Khabib out for a few seconds. Not unconscious but out of his game. (See Forrest Griffins breakdown), what did Conor do? He decided to go and wrestle Khabib. Then Khabib crushed him from that point!
As sad as it is just like Tony i think Conor will never be elite as he once once. He has the skills he just dosent have the focus or fighter in him that a working class person does that he once was.
with you as his trainer he can make a come back. Jones ,McGregor ,cejudo sharpening there skills would be crazy!!!
Depends if he stops having fun with his nose
Absurdely good analysis. I am actually blown away. Good work, Henry!
Great content really like the systematic break down. Question relating to the techniques of clinch work and wrestling as a means of resting.. would these actually be better related to Tactics? As they are implemented in bouts of fatigue that can be anticipated during sequences within rounds?
Loving all these videos Henry!!! Are you able to do a video on how you create a game plan or breakdown opponents?
love what you are doing henry keep up the good work hope you comeback better than ever
Great work! This is the type of honest critique Conor is missing in his corner.
This is a great breakdown! You should make a series of "How To Fix..." for all the fighters. I'd definitely watch!
Yeah it’s easy to point out mistakes but hard to fix it and work towards it., it’s all hard work plus ur opponent is ready to counter attack and defend all ur strike n moves.,
Y do u think Henry is not fighting N giving feedback n Critique on other fighters as it’s so so so much easier and safer..
He a good fighter as well but he like to point out others mistake N help improve in His mind, instead of working on himself and be the best as he has a very good fight IQ n is a good fighter. But it’s hard to train n be consistent n Ready.
Everybody is not the same, N champion material no matter how good ur.,, Ur mindset n Hard work is must.
Henry just not Champ material , actually he is a good critique, He just not a Fighter fighter. Coach not very good 👍🏼 as well or else he would had been coaching, in a higher leave.
@@zudinz55 he's fighting next month...
Good breakdown and insight. Look forward to more, subed.
Please do how to fix Henry cejudo next
lol
Wow. As a long time Conor fan, absolutely spot on! I found myself nodding my head and smiling just agreeing with every single thing you've said. It's one thing to be a fan but real fans know their team and really all McGregor fans know that he needs to fix those three Ts. I find it absolutely ludicrous that's he's in a mental space where 170 is the goal for him, as if he could forfeit any more physical advantages he had over his previous 145/155 competitors and make a more difficult fight for himself. I hope a win against chandler can really ignite the fire that made Conor "confident in preparation and humble in victory or defeat".
Love this style of video Cejudo, would love to see more of this

THANKSS
Damn your breakdowns are the shit man. As a hobby kickboxer this helps a lot in developing/understand fight iq myself

Keep it up Henry! Great work again
Conor need to watch and understand this but his pride will destroy him even if he saw this video he wont watch...
Very smart and realistic assessment. I hope he watches this (he won’t) and reaches out to train with you or add this to his game plan. *Realistically he will tweet you insulting you Henry* 😂😂❤️❤️
Love the breakdowns. This is my new favorite CZcams channel.
Great video Henry! Make more please
I also remember at the time of the 2nd DP fight Conor was talking a lot about the Velocity of his shots. I noticed too, that in that 2nd fight he went in heavy footed trying to take his head off. He was so much better being light footed
Is this the video connor was getting back for
Yes it is
Great video !! Love the in depth details coming from a true fighter, Respect. Subscribed !
Henry you break down is awesome so much technical details explained well😄
Great breakdown, its so obvious the intense pure boxing training for the Floyd fight ruined Conors MMA striking style.
It wasn't just that, I think it was also the fact that regardless, he had unteachable power, and great instincts/reflexes with his hands. Also good speed. So he started thinking why not be a "boxer". Problem is he changed his footwork completely, which is massively affects the application of you tools. He needs to go back asap to his old style
@@187btokes exactly pal he took 1 year off to go box and that boosted his ego going 10 rounds with the best defensive boxer in history😂😂 hard to go from boxing back to stricking with all limbs because you created the muscle memory of throwing hands he just has to fient more and lean back composed it could work but he just thought he was invincible with his hands and as i said that henry said the same lol he got over bloated and it was his fall.
He traded his precision and timing for power and speed.
Looking forward to this series ! Good stuff
Bang on. Agree with everything. Bring on CCC as Conor's engineer.
Btw Conor is 10 on Thunder. 1 punch ko power at fw in a division that can't test his chin. Unusual.
He won't go back there as he gets more attention from women or likes the look of more muscle on his frame. IMO. Would love to be proven wrong.
It’s hard to swallow but that was a very solid review of connors current game. I can’t help but wonder if Henry is trying to position himself as the next instalment of the McGregor coaching staff? Good luck 🤞
He is been auditioning for a year now.Begging conor to hire hm
First time watching one of these. Good stuff

Conor is miserable right now as a fighter, but he will always have a soft spot in me where I always look forward to the best version of him. really hoping he'll train with triple C and JBJ that'd be freaking awesome
I love this! I have always been a Connor fan but you definitely spoke the truth without putting him down. If he would consider all the things you said he could definitely do better in the future! I just started watching your videos recently and I have much respect because you know what you are talking about!
Best video yet Henry!!
Henry is so good at reading things in the cage I can only imagine how much he is not only going to only perfect Jones but also motivate him and keep his head up.
This kind of content is amazing and is invaluable to me and my training
In my opinion Connor needs to transition from a specialist to an all arounder
Fight feedback! What an amazing resource! Great idea I hope the Highschool Kennedy Wrestling Team sends in their videos.
This is a great content! More of this please.
He had a great clinch against Poirier in the second fight. He seemed fresher than Dustin after the clinch as well.
Not acostumed to being pressed, lack of quality sparring partners and cardio is the problem.
He knows the technique.
Exactly, theres a lot of advatanges and disadvantages to his new style. Poirier took him down, conor got back up, turned him and landed shoulder and elbow shots and outclinched the so called good wrestler and black belt jiu jitsu poirier. But offcourse cejudo and others completely ignore that. Just like cejudo purposefully ignores fight number 3 with dustin where conor fixes a lot of the stuff mentioned.

Meh he’s not god😂 I’d love to see someone break down Henry’s holes in his game. I do believe aljo has mentioned Henry’s holes on his podcast. Conors title performances to become champ champ were by far better than Henry’s. Do I think Conor has taken a more boxing approach in his fights lately? Yes. That was seen in the Dustin 2 fight. I don’t agree with Henry’s look here and rating lol
These videos are great!🎉
If conor can get back to his old self I think he can still make a run. His left hand has only gotten stronger.
Connor used to be fluid with his movement and footwork at 145. Alvarez just fought scared at 55. 145 Connor's just a more well conditioned athlete. As soon as he went up he lost what made him special.
I think he’s lost true motivation. He set a goal reached that goal and made more money than he’ll ever need. He made history, there’s nothing there to top what he’s done. He knows that, he wants the fire, but it’s not there.
Lmao
I think what happened is people stopped fearing him. He has nothing but his hands. When people were scared and played his game he looked great. Now that people press him he shows all the gaps in his game
@Skylan H That's so silly. After two years off he stuffed over half of Nurmagomedov's takedowns, and Khabib's own coach said McGregor is his toughest fight. It's too much money and too much time off. This isn't rocket science.
@@dy120481 And what happened in two Poirier fights? Stop excusing him. Once he returns again, he will be exposed again but then fanboys will have a bag of excuses for their hero... He just isnt THAT good. He is a good fighter that got lucky and he had charisma to get into alot of fighters heads. He has no chance of beating anybody decent in lightweight division. Dustin just stood there and took his best shots and nothing happened. Nobody is afraid of him anymore.
great to see a fighter of your caliber sharing your take
No matter how you feel about Triple C, the dude knows fighting and has an extremely high fight IQ.
He showed how low his IQ is here... Conor aint coming back because thee is nothing to come back to. He is overrated and is being exposed. Besides cutting weight extremely well and using that to beat much smaller featherweights and even there he had quite a bit of close fights and he gassed in almost all of them. After that he literally didnt do anything special. Two time champ? Against Alwarez? Lmao Quite the contrary he got destroyed quite badly in 4 mma fights, yet some people go as so far as to consider him one of the goats... Once Conor loses in his return fight again there will be no doubts anymore as to where he ranks among everybody.
Amazing video man he needs this honesty
He was at his best in feather weight, the same way Khabib was at his best in light weight,Khamzat in welterweight,it's no shame to be humble and realistic about your place in the game
I dont think it's as simple as that, it mainly has to do with conor's mentality, cuz we've seen conor give some prime performances in those higher weight divisions, like the eddie, Cowboy and 2nd diaz fights, thing is conor mentally wasn't the same after beating Eddie as he got the mayweather money, that's when we really got the subpar performances
What's fascinating with Cejudo is that he himself emulated McGregor's wide boxing stance and really mastered it to become an elite striker.
Karate stance*, anyone who knows martial arts can tell them apart.

Hi Henry, I have a question what are your opinions on reach measurements as some people have wide and narrow shoulders and that messes with the measurements, for example stipe miocic has short arms yet is still 80inch reach, shouldn’t the ufc measure arm length instead or as well?

People just don’t remember man, how it was back then, coming up with a 15 fight win streak, 14 finishes. “THE” 2 division champion, not “a”, he was “THE” one and only ever double champ. The first to ever do it. In the 2 most competitive divisions in the entire industry and was the int-champ at the same time. He out slugged Chad, starched Dustin, sniped Aldo in 13 seconds who at that time was the P4P king and the greatest 145er ever. He bested Max who went on to make his own case for greatest 145er.
When he beat Eddie, it was like magical. And I’m serieus, like it was weird. Like you could feel it in the air. It felt like history in the making. You cant explain it. Did didn’t just feel unbeatable. He felt, untouchable, unreachable, almost supernatural, it was awe inspiring beyond belief. He couldn’t miss a shot, he could get hit, he just could not lose, like it was destiny set in stone. It was bizarre. Alvarez became a champion in every organization he ever touched, he was a legend, keep that in mind.
And he changed the game, forever. Became the most “successful” MMA fighter ever, he beat many legends and all time greats and looked spectacular doing so. What he did for the sport… people are gonna reap the benefits of his legacy for generations. And they will never thank him for that, but it’s true. You have to respect that.

I can watch Henry breakdowns all day, he has a great mind and pays attention to the details
Great video and you seem in a very good place here, contrary to some of your recent antics(probably drunk idk)
This was a great analysis man.
