Florida Boy Overjoyed During Surprise Reunion With Lost Dog

- A 10-year-old Florida boy was brought to tears on March 8 when he was reunited with his dog Bruiser, who had been missing for two months, his mother said.
Jamie Bandy told Storyful that Bruiser had gone missing on January 4 and the family was “starting to lose hope” after weeks of trying to locate him. Bandy said her family repeatedly posted on Facebook, put out clothes with a familiar scent near their Fort Meade home, and made flyers with rewards. They frequently stopped by Polk County Animal Control, too.
On March 4, exactly two months after Bruiser went missing, Bandy said Highlands County Animal Control called and said they had him. Bandy said she organized a surprise for her son Tyler, who had recently asked if Bruiser was found yet.
This footage shows Tyler’s shocked reaction when he walks inside to see Bruiser bounding toward him on March 8. The video shows Tyler sobbing and hugging the dog as Bruiser wags his tail vigorously and showers the boy in affection.

Awww, the dog was totally overjoyed and filled with energy, but once he saw the boy was crying, he took it down a notch and comforted him, licked his face and letting him hug. What a sweetheart.

The dog already did!
My puppy escaped once and started running down the street, I chased her but she was just too fast. She was headed towards a busy street. I felt hopeless in that moment. I realized that she thought we were probably going for a walk. I turned around and started walking home to try to get to follow. My dog turned around, after 30 seconds, started following me back to the house. The relief was huge. I dont know what I'd do if I actually lost her. Happens alot. Sometimes they just want to explore the world and end up not knowing how to get home.

I was away from my Pitbull Zoey for around 3 months, and while I was gone, my older sister(that wanted nothing to do with a pitbull)and Zoey were together 24/7, and much to my surprise, became good buddies. She made it so I came through the back gate at my house in the backyard, and Amy opened the door and yelled for my Zoey... She came out through the doggy door, and I was standing in the far corner and said Zoey a few times and she was looking around, and finally saw me... I already had tears in my eyes because my dog was EVERYTHING to me, she ran to me and I fell backwards in the grass and she started howling and crying very loud and licking my face and rolling around together in the grass... I will never forget her!!
I am so happy for you buddy that you got got your best friend back!!!! its an amazing and beautiful sight. Not everyone understands, but you gotta be a dog owner to get it.

Now this was a sweet reunion & definitely believable. Some posts of this nature on CZcams are of children who have obviously been coached. (trying out for a new film, perhaps??) Even the very youngest kids shout out OMG, OMG, OMG until they're blue in the face, and so am I !!!!! Little children just don't say that, but living in the "northern USA," I wouldn't doubt it, as it seems most teens today use the F word, followed by "It was like, I mean," etc.
Nobody asked all that, just enjoy the video and move on.
