    If you did an in depth motor mount replacement guide for all of the mounts especially the rear motor mount on the rd1 it’d get a ton of views there’s no good videos anywhere for them

    Now question, will the o2 sensor spacer keep Check engine light from coming on? I did a cat delete on a V6 accord and the codes would clear unless droving really hard

    Hello, my CR-V project is going on , sad that I cannot post pics, some day ago the car started to have a mysterious noise from under from half to back of the car, it seems like a electric motor noise or also very similar noise to a human blood pressure machine. It doesn't come always and it's only when the car is turned off. It happen also with disconnected battery. Have you never heard about it? Thanks for your time and thanks for your channel.

    Hey CRV buddies, my rd1 late model (Dec 2000 build) the exhaust sounds kinda bubbly/loud from inside the cabin kinda like a small leak but not full blown. Is this normal for them or should I be checking it out?

    Thank you sir for the coupon code. I have a technical question though. I recently did a manual swap on a 97 crv and used all the wiring from a 99 crv (engine harness and interior harness and wires). I came across the connectors on the fuel pump and it looks like the 99 has an extra connector leading to an evap system attached to the fuel tank. On the 97 the evap system is located under the hood. My question is can I leave the connector unplugged or do I have to swap the fuel tanks? I think I know the answer but was hoping that you may know a trick to bypass it since I still have the old system. Thanks again for that you do to help the community. 🙏

    • @hondaresource
      @hondaresource  Před 3 měsíci +1

      Best bet is to swap the tank.

      @@hondaresource I had a feeling you were going to say that. Fml, just one thing after another. Why Honda lol. A friend of mine said it should be ok leaving it unplugged since the old system is still hooked up. I will run it first to see what happens and see if any codes pop up.

  • @Maxst33le

    10:10 i would not be using the gasket you recommended. Especially for high compression engines. you'll blow those gaskets out right away. id be using the one that fell on the floor, or order a new one from Honda. Take it from someone who blew 5 out before realizing this mistake.

    • @hondaresource
      @hondaresource  Před 3 měsíci

      What does a high compression engine have to do with it. I agree that the metal gasket is best in most circumstances

      @@hondaresource i cant remember the explanation i was given by the Lexus dealership mechanic in Edmonton. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but i think its a higher exhaust pressure or just the rate of air flow. Those gaskets just end up popping. on my is300 i blew 5 of them before going straight to lexus for an explanation. i was given a aluminum crush gasket for my headers to Y pipe. when it comes to any gaskets, i now go straight to the dealer to avoid any headaches. many tims was i given this advice.
