Sorry but wood trim in a car does NOT look dated. The fabric replacement in the refresh looks cheap.

I leased a 2021 MYLR & purchased a 2024 MYP in Ultra Red. Love it! I don’t mind the wood. More ambient lighting would be nice.

considering how much it would cost to get a tesla and that interest rates rather high, i'd wait for the model y juniper.
Model Y needs ground clearance. It is a crossover SUV. What good is the all wheel drive feature without it? It should be adjustable.

Tesla can just work harder/faster/smarter and bring the full Juniper refresh to Model Y faster, this year.
I've seen several Midnight Cherry Model Y's in Las Vegas just this month 4/2024. Unsure if they were original color or wrapped. Either way, they looked really good!
the in between refresh with few unimpactful changes, will only exacerbate the sales slump and it will also deplete the awe factor when the juniper refresh eventually happens. I personally would not go for the in between so called refresh, will wait even if it takes more than a year

I have a white plastic trim which looks great.

You have that white bar there because you have the white interior, which is how all model three is with white interior have been built from the beginning. The newer ones have a piece of cloth or fabric that came out a couple months ago.
Like so many others, I'm still holding out for Juniper, midnight cherry 🍒 with white. I'm looking forward to the refreshed body, stalkless design, and ventilated seats. Dust-collecting fabric isn't what I'd consider an upgrade. Ambient lighting will be cool.
I'm holding off till Juniper arrives, but watching closely in case these updates happen. I like the idea of ventilated seats, the back seat screen for the kids, internal lighting, improved sound system, better suspension and quieter cabin. While I believe demand will allow Tesla some price increase flexibility, I'm hoping not by too much. 🙂
as a 2019 model 3 owner, I'm waiting for the updated Model Y before I make another Tesla purchase as I now have bigger kids. Love my model 3, but now that it's out of warranty, i'm looking for a new option... and want the new model Y

I'm waiting for the full refresh to buy my first Tesla. A few cosmetic changes are not going to be enough to get me to buy early. Now if the price comes down enough, it could be tempting. 💰
The new colour should be given as a default for people ordering now & before the Juniper refresh. Doesn't cost them that much.
I’m a non EV owner but interested in finally getting one. My reluctance is primarily price and high interest rates (I hate adding to my debt load if I can help it). Tesla model 3 or Y are cars I’m very interested in. I’m looking for the best deal because of the glut of supply for all EVs sitting on dealer lots. I’m waiting for Tesla to make a good offer or I’ll wait. I’m in no rush. Zero interest rate financing would be great.😁

that midnight cherry looks soooo good. i like it way better than the ultra red its got class. as far as interior trim? i love wood. i dont care how outdated people might think it is. i love the look. a soft touch material seems like a downgrade to me. keep the wood

My Model Y LR Quicksilver arrives at the Southampton Docks (UK) May 8th - can’t wait. I hope it has the new interior features of the Chinese market cars - fingers crossed. Great vid.
Probably the quicksilver color would make me buy the current Model Y. But since I took for demo drive both the new model 3 and the model Y. The driving difference is massive… 😅 The new model 3 is such a smoother drive and has a quieter cabin as well.. So guess what? I am waiting for Model Y JUNIPER! Elon just launch it already! 😂😂😂

The sales for the model Y are going to slowly go down because of the comparison with the highland. Not everyone has the money to allways change car. I have the chance to buy one but until they release Juniper i wont buy. I want a Tesla but i can wait.

Robert, I LIKE your posts, but lately your audio has been PAINFUL !!! It's full of static and its volume sounds about 3 times louder than EVERYTHING else. When I watch your videos I have to turn the volume down to about 1/3 ... and even then it's full of static. (I'm not having this problem with any other audio.) Keep up the good work, but please fix the audio before you cause people to lose their hearing. Thanks :)

The anemic range of the Cybertruck has me waiting for the Refresh model Y. Cybertruck will not replace my F150.
I went to get a y and was given a website for my trade in. When I came in to close the deal, Tesla reduced my trade in value by $3000. Unethical, they kept my $250 and I got a Toyota hybrid

I am holding off on a Model Y because the price is way too high. Multiple thousands of dollars too expensive.
I am looking at older Model 3s because that still has the stalks and wood trim.
S3XY Buttons will be giving us stalks as an aftermarket item. So that plus wood trim replacements might make it worth it to look at the current Model 3.
Back to the Y, drop the cost, keep the wood, give us stalks, DO NOT go with a LGB wrap-around light strip or rear display monitor.
Seriously, who thought a rear display was necessary for the Model 3? Complete waste. Nobody is riding in the back seats 99% of the time for most owners.
A power frunk, THAT is what Highland should've added instead.
