The 70s was the best era for music hands down
Agree but I gotta add the 1960s too
Amen!
@@hazelvee9793 yes. you are right
60's, 70's and 80's are tied as my favorite era's.
Once in awhile, I will go back to 50's & there's some good stuff in the 90's too.
There were a lot of rubbish songs as well, we just remember the good ones.
"Baby, I'm a Want You" is another classic piece of Bread.
My favorite! And I love a few of theirs!
This was “our song” when my husband and I were dating. It will always remind me of those days especially since he died a couple of weeks ago. 😢❤️🎵
1920Janice I’m so sorry. These old songs bring us back to places of innocence and happiness.
Lynda B. They sure do Lynda! Thank you. 💕
@@1920Janice Oh no, I am so sorry to hear that. It's very hard for us to lose those who we love dearly.
When I hear this song, I'm suddenly back in my apartment in 1973, lying on the floor with a speaker on each side of my head (couldn't afford headphones!!) with this song on the turntable!! Wow, I miss those times...
Brings back memories of high school for me. Love beads, incense and great music!
When we took the time to LISTEN to songs not just background noise
@@debbiepochy6751 me too summer at a friends pool and best of bread on the cassette
70’s was the most fun I ever had
Same here
#MeToo
Absolutely!!
Everything about the 70's was beyond awesome.
It was an awesome time!! I thinks for that era we had the most talent in music!! Disco, man that was everything!!! Awesome memories!!
Hey.. Congratulations on graduation!!
I LOVE you are cruising through the 70's!!
Bread had many soft pop/rock songs in the 70's.. If; Everything I Own; Guitar Man; Diary; Aubrey; Baby I'm-A Want You; Lost Without Your Love; Sweet Surrender. David Gates (lead vocalist) had a solo hit with the title song from the movie "Goodbye Girl"
I always wondered why " I want you with me", wasn't more of a hit.
Love David's song "Goodbye Girl", should have been a huge hit!
Bread was also slang for $$cash$$
If sweet talk could sing, it' sounds like the great David Gates! You are now my favorite reactor. Always a smile on your face, a positive attitude and you play the music of my life!
Where's Bonnie?
@@rbodee 👩🦰
If you're looking for more Bread, def check out "If" and "Diary"
Definitely Diary, but have some tissues available.
The Diary, my absolute favorite Bread song!
Diary is a must!
Oh 'IF' definately.
Yes, react to Diary! Hardly anyone has reacted to that song, at least, in the way it deserves. You would give it honor--you always give respect and kudos where they are deserved.
You are true renaissance man to appreciate this Javon. Props to you man
Definitely check out If and Diary. Bread doesn't disappoint!
Bread is Beautiful. "Mother Freedom , " Aubrey
Bread will never disappoint those of us aligned unto their authentic and beautiful sound, dear Roxi-of-Smith.
Haven't thought about Bread in years. Man, that took me back in the best possible way.
When I saw you were going to react to this song I had to tune in. My girlfriend was 16 I was 18 when this song came out, it became our song as did Close to you by the Carpenters. 50 years later we still dance and enjoy this song. Thank you so much for reacting to this song. Keep up the good work that you do. Again, thanks.
I love your story!!
Classic 70:s soft rock, great time to be alive when this class of music was on the airwaves, so glad i wad there.
Bread has some classics that will live forever.
I think "I Want to Make it with You" is top 10 songs of my 55yrs of living. My wife liked it before we met. 🎶🎵🎶
I'm 64 and they were really popular in the 70's. Happy you are enjoying the music I loved back then. Those were good times.
The usual full of authenticity of Jayvee....
From france
He react with his heart.
There is some songs and voices that can touch the soul
Sorry if mistakes 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Guitar man, guitar man, guitar man from bread of course.
Oh yes another wonderful selection, he definitely needs to do a reaction to this one! One of my all time favorites 🤗
A fav!
Do Everything I Own if you're doing more Bread, which was a song about David Gates father
Another great Bread tune... Might be my favorite of theirs.
Makes me cry.love you
If you liked Bread so, you should checkout Everything I Own, Aubrey, Goodbye Girl, If. they re even nicer, IMHO.
Oh my gosh, LOVVVVVE that song.
My favorite Bread song. Beautiful
Aubrey by Bread. Are we requesting songs by the same artist for a day or just regular requests? I missed the chat live. 😢 Anything from the Anthology of Bread.
Beautiful song
My teenage years had nice love ballads with talented vocalists and great musicians
Bread had many songs in rotation on radio in the '70s.
Hey Bread's a great group! Do Everything I Own, Diary, And the song If
You HAVE to listen to their song called "If" this was the song that made me love them. It's a special special song
I'll say it again, your honesty is so refreshing!
"Guitar Man" , "If", "Aubrey", and "Diary"....you cannot go wrong with these songs by Bread
Thank you for playing 'Bread! One of my favorite bands in the 70's. They have some beautiful songs. Listen to "If". haha , more bread to come.
Brilliant band, I was brought up listening to them, you should check out some more tracks. This is my favourite
We had this 8track in the car.
check out If, Everything I Own, Aubrey, Lost Without Your Love, and Guitar Man for starters
Love this song been a while since I heard this one . Your reaction once again was great you really feel the music love it.
*Everything I Own* & *Guitar Man*
Yes another 70s band that you can pick anything and it's good. David's voice is 😍 I always listen to Bread along with America. Just goes together.
There are l lot more where that came from! Enjoyed your reaction!! ✌🏻 and ❤️
You will 💛 Everything I Own by Bread. Also, Lost Without your Love. Bread 🍞 is all about great love songs and beautiful lyrics.
70's singer songwriters are the thing!! :) This is one of my favorite songs ever.
Thanks for picking this song it is a classic in my time I am 64 yrs. Old I still play it to this day I absolutely love this song.😊❤️
Also try "It Don't Matter to Me" one of the most beautiful love songs ever written IMO!!
This is probably my very favorite song by Bread. Their genre of Soft Rock was so mellow and laid back. Wonderful to slow dance to, or just to chill. My teenage years were through the 70's, and I took it for granted, at the time, how great the music was. I look back now, and compared to other decades...I'm blown away. Thanks for your wonderful reaction to this.
This song brings back fond romantic memories.Need I say, this is great make-out music, if people still worry about things like that. Oh, and listen to "I want you with me", also by Bread.
There where so many amazing bands and variety of music in the 70’s just so many who had their own sound.
You can’t imagine the number of great songs in the 70’s and Bread had a lot of great ones the early to mid 70’s.
You know, when you're enjoying and moving to the sounds, we're feeling what you're feeling, that's what's good about you man, keep it up!
1970’s Song “Precious and few” by Climax.
Oh man I was so into Bread in my late teens forward to today. Mellow is the word! Great band!! 70s music was best ever!!!
Diary for sure!!
It will break your heart!
Saddest song ever.
Check out..Bread..Goodbye girl..1 of my favs..👍🏻
try this one......Hamilton, Joe Frank & Reynolds - Fallin' In Love
That's an Excellent one!
My uncle played keyboards for HJF & R, I loved Danny Hamilton’s voice! He died too young.
I haven’t heard this in a long time! I loved this song 💕
One of my all time fav’s. Bread is just one of those bands you can sit down in an easy chair and just listen and enjoy. Takes me back to better times. Loved your reaction. Love you!
I just love watching you and seeing the expressions on your face when you discover a new sound! The 70s were the best when it comes to music!
This song is beautiful. Bread has some good music. Thanks.
"Aubrey" by Bread...is a beautiful song!
It don't matter to me and everything I own I think you need to hear from Bread! A legendary band from back in the day 🥰
One thing you are noticing with the late 60s and 70s these bands wrote their songs. They were so well done. They could sing. Play an instrument and wrote their music to sing or for other singers to sing...what an era i lived through.....
Listening to Bread gives me goosebumps 😊🇬🇧
This group. Holy cow they’re so dam good. Pure. Raw. Honest lyrics!
Another great song from Bread. So smooth and soothing to listen to.
I had forgot about Bread, I knew the moment the intro started. They are so wonderful to listen to sat in the garden relaxing on a summers day. I used to pur the radio on in the kitchen, take my little ones out into the garden and we would spend the afternoon listening to the music and playing. Thank you for some wonderful memories Jayvee for music was a huge part of my life and my families too. Take care and stay safe please my friends praying for peace for all Mary-Ellen UK
Thanks man, another great episode with a terrific song. Please keep 'em coming, brightens up the day.
70’s was a great time for music raw and beautiful ❤
Special place in my heart. This was our honeymoon song. The marriage lasted 11 years; but, 52 years later we are still friends.
All their songs are sublime💕
Being bingeing on these guys the last 4-5 months and this is my fave...was 2 yrs of age when this dropped and what a beaut, fantastic group - ''Baby- ima want you'' and many more.
The 70's were great in the quality of music. Thanks for the memories. 👍
Bread was one group I grew up with. So smooth, sweet and could bring so emotion.
I just love the singers who sing so clearly and beautifully ,you know every word.No need to search out lyrics.
Ambrosia,Bread,Foreigner..so many great bands and or singers came out around the same time.
Our music cannot be beat.
They were underated because th 70's were the time of disco and these were more romantic songs.
I will have to go along with GUITAR MAN for the next one.
Yes, Guitar Man. Such sweet music.
0h the memories of the 70's and my 57 Chevy rolling down the highway,Radio up loud and enjoying life.Slow jams with Bread and The Bee Gees.
Best slow dance song. Was going to be the prom theme my senior year but the teachers thought the hook was too risqué. We ended up with JT You've got a friend. Great sing, TOO!
I AM SO HAPPY THAT YOU LOVE THIS. THESE ARE MY FAVORITE SONGS OF ALL TIME. Everything I Own. The story behind this song is absolutely wonderful.
I recommend the Bread hits "If," "Everything I Own" and "Diary." Lead singer David Gates has a unique and beautiful voice!
I'm reading all the comments and wholeheartedly agree with EVERY recommendation. Bread was one of my favorite groups when I was a young woman. ALL of their songs are dreamy and romantic. 💕
YAY for you!!🤩😃 oldies but goodies all of their songs! Like you will be able to go down their rabbit 🐰 hole
You're right about the 70s. I grew up then and the musicians, singers and songwriters then make much of what passes for music today sound like rain on a window. Bread were wonderful, every song beautifully written and sung in that heartbreakingly sweet voice. We were so lucky.
1970's. What a time! I was 10 years old when this came out. My formative years in music. Haven't heard this in so long. Great track. Thanks for checking it out man.
Bread was all over the radio when I was growing up. So was Gary Puckett and the Union Gap! Great music.
I agree with you 100% I grew listening to Bread after fifty years they were and still are one of my all time favorites.
70's - best music hands down-gosh I long for those days. I saw Bread at the Denver Coliseum in the early 70's-good vibes great memories!
I remember going on vacations with the family back in the day and hearing music like this song, Glen Campbell songs, etc.,on the radio cruising down the highway. I'll never forget that.
The 70’s music was THE BEST! I’m so glad I was old enough to enjoy it as it came out.
Everytime I hear a song down your list I'm going to Spotify and making my own list of these songs I so enjoyed in my youth. Thank you!

Beautiful group from back in the day. I also like "If" 💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗
I was sixteen when this came out.i was walking up the hwy.with my transistor radio.Love this group super talent!
BREAD had (10) Top 10 & Top 15 Billboard hits and their hit songs were on 1970's radio on a regular basis for many years. (Did you know that the Music / Record business made more money in the 1970's than the Film and Sports industries COMBINED ~??!! There were whole tribes of varying artists of many genres {Rock/R&B Soul/Motown/Country/Folk/Pop/Blues-Rock/Singer-Songwriters/Funk} on Top 40 radio and AM rock stations throughout that decade. I was lucky to grow up during this era )~* ENJOY your channel ~ Thanks and PEACE ~*
Love ALL genres....but BABY it is tough as shit to beat the 70’s!! Sooo proud of you for diggin it like I do...nothing makes my day more than to see someone else LOVE this music as deeply as me!! Rock on MY BROTHER!!!!! 😁❤️✨
I really look forward to seeing your reactions to all of these beautiful songs , a lot of them are in my record collection, so it's like sharing the music I love with a new friend
Check out the song the guitar man by Bread
I graduated in 1970 from H.S. with the music of the 60s and then came the 70s but looking back I must say the 40s & 50s with the Big Bands are my favorite music.
I totally understand & love that your appreciating the music I grew up with. Awesome ! You Rock
Such a great band!!!
Just started watching your reactions, Love Bread, I am a lover of music of ALL kinds, so I can't imagine not having heard these classics before, but yes, Bread is amazing,... Now to binge watch your next reaction :D
They were huge!!!!!
This is what we had playing on the radio back in the 1970s. The best AM music. One of my faves from them is “everything I own”
I am a new subscriber to you. I absolutely love to watch your expressions when you hear the sweet magic that Bread creates in their songs. I was the same when I first heard them. I'm old, so it was a long time ago. It reminds me of the short time I had with my 3 1/2 yr old son Luke before he passed. Thanks. You make me smile. You are a beautiful person.
Oh my gosh! BREAD!!!! A quintessential 70s band. Love your channel! You are so open to all this music. This is such a happy channel!!! Love it.
Thank you
