Great video as always. Just finishing up my second mosaic (thanks to you) and I was struggling a bit with the color of grout to use. I still don't know for sure yet but I have ways to explore options that I didn't have before this video. Gracias again.

I love playing around with grout colors and definitely incorporate them into my design. I watched this hoping you would delve into the new Translucent grout that is supposed to take on the colors of the tessera around it. I have yet to try it, and am kind of waiting to see how others do with it and what they think of it. Apparently, it's a two-part medium that has to be activated, is designed to work with glass smalti/tessera, or used for GOG. Perhaps you'll consider doing a video and review on it, some of us are on a very tight 'seniors' pension, and are on a wait-and-see how it works first budget. Always love your videos.

😱I have never seen those beautiful colors
I usually mosaic with Mexican tile on terracotta pots, birdbaths, tile chimney caps, etc. I use terracotta-colored grout for all of these projects.

Videos are great! I started using all white grout. But lately have used chocolate as well for some piece. I’m still having trouble with non sanded grout. It takes me a long time to clean up.

Consider sanded grout next time you need to re-stock.....and as long as it's ok for your groutlines. Keep creating and I'm glad you're here!🌟
Julie, my mosiac journey has been going well, thanks to you! I am now wanting to use some colored grout like a teal or green but I'm having problems finding anything like that. It seems to be an array of neutral colors. Is there a dye to add to the grout? Or, can you share where you've successfully found more colorful grout? Many thanks!

I have a garden table that is no longer useful. I replaced it with tile board. Is that ok to use? My first tile didn't stay fixed to the board. Now I'm going to try again on the opposite side of this board. I'm not sure what happened to my first project other than I just used grout.
Hi Judith! A garden table is such a fun project!! When you say tile board do you mean cement board like Wedi, Hardie, Durock? Make sure your board is securely fastened to the base before you begin your mosaic work. For the adhesive, use fortified thinset.
